Feeks………. I know, but squid gets a laugh or rebuke...… sqib doesn't. To me PF has moved on from Tema and concentrating on those other irons in the fire......hope they turn in to money soon because eventually even iron melts. B
Shrewdun / yrabs -
Usage of this word "formality" may mean something just slightly different in the context or the RNS below where it refers to the need to observe legal (or contractual) formalities. I do not read the RNS as necessarily meaning it a formality in terms of something which is "about to happen soon". Goes without saying really! PF is essentially saying the formal contract is unimportant given what is actually occurring. The only pity with this is that the market goes nowhere until we get some numbers or we wake up to a formal contract announcement.
"Our new Ghana operations are performing well and have already produced several hundred thousand USD in revenues. We are pleased to note that the ongoing discussions between Meridian Port Services and the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority are close to being finalised which will allow for our contracts to be formally exchanged, albeit this is a formality given we are already appointed and operational. We look forward to the operation producing a meaningful contribution to our revenues in 2020 as the port continues to expand, capacity and throughput increases, and new tariffs come into operation. We expect our subsidiary Westminster International (Ghana) Ltd. to be an important and growing part of our business and we have already secured other business in the country.
I'd like to know what this other business entails?
Ps. Damp squid!!?! It's squib!
Nice one shrewdun, PF responding is in itself a success story. He has put “formality “ in a RNS so cannot back track now. However I remember AP in VAST stating that funding was a certainty a while back only for the funder to decline the very next day, so nothing but death and taxes etc ..etc......For me the dilemma we face is that during the hiatus we psychologically think the size of the MSC will be significant and the sp will rise dramatically, so if the deal is less than we and the market had pent up.... the anticlimactic response will be a very damp squid!.......so I really do hope the market (and us) is taken by surprise. Just getting the contract will be a shocker........KSA is another potential surprise..... but so was Africa. How many chairs are they re organising must be loads as even PF has forgotten about it. B
Feeks: you know better than that.
Tbf to DHC he does do a lot of research. My issue is his crazily positive interpretation of often very spurious links.....that and his ludicrously long and repetitive posts designed to entice newbies into this share.
Off out to check the tyre pressure on the car.
The big news (imo) is DHC stating:
"Limited postings for the next few weeks"
Is he 'off out' for am extended period?
Just imo
Agreed shrewdun. So is my departure from this mortal coil. Just not sure which will come first.
I feel yours and my mine pain guys. Keep the faith, there’s light at the end of the Tema tunnel, or is it a reflection of light off a pen inking a juicy KSA contract.
The most dramatic rises come when you least expect them.
Very confident we’re on the cusp of the first leg of a long anticipated rise, soon.
If not, I’m sure it’s just a formality it’ll start within 30 days :-)
I'd be more than happy to have just Half a Martyn
but then
I'd probably be twice as frustrated as I am now. That one pound share seems just a distant dream now. Thank you Donald for fouling up the JCPAO.
Only up to your nuts is what we call "Half a martyn"!
Unless he’s bending over all the time ! Apologies for lowering it to Tosh’s level. I’m he’s watching.
If you’re only full up to your nuts then you’ve got lots of space until you reach your eyeballs. Get buying! ;)
Which is?
I'm loaded upk to nuts level. How has no-one commented on the big news of the day...??
Doesn't look like a CLN converted - would have been reported by now.
Half pleased - no dilution atm.
But, quite a lot to munch through and as Linton says, we are all stuffed to the eyeballs. No more for me at this level.
