I'm finally in!
Shares still being held tightly,
took 3 x negotiated trade attempts today,
at increasing SP within the spread,
before I managed to get 5K worth.
I see this as medium risk, high reward, little punt.
Targeting those GAPS above.
Bring on the 12th April.
the price was worked down as like all other shares when the market crashed due to covid. blue skies ahead, im playing for a hobbycraft M&A
RBH - that is some serious conviction,
hope it WRKS out for you - see what I did there!
I expect many RI are watching WRKS, including me,
but the current wide spread, low liquidity, and the, will we/won't we (UK and WRKS) open up on the 12th April,
are keeping us cautious atm.
Once the GOV confirms that all their conditions have been met and 12th April UK shops opening is definately happening,
things might start to move here.
Follow that with an RNS from WRKS stating all finances sounds and the shops will be open on the 12th April,
and it could tick up the SP enough to push WRKS up the SP risers board and get noticed.
That rise would be seen widely and the FOMO fun would begin!
Lets hope the GOV sticks to the plan.
Always DYOR.
Hi Sigma and welcome.
I have been buying these since before Xmas when I noticed how busy and popular the shops are. (when they are open of course).
I ‘hung out’ inside a couple of the shops listening to the conversation between the staff and in every case they all seemed very happy and there was always a queue at the till.
I also like what they sell (but don’t profess to have ever bought anything yet!).
They have really invested heavily in their on line offerings and I am impressed.
I have reduced my portfolio to 2 stocks that I think have got massive upside and this is one of them.
The other is Saga.
I have £150,000 of these now and think that will be double that in 12 months.
Can’t for the life of me understand why this discussion isn’t buzzing!
For further balance,
there does appear to be some issues over rent on the shops to resolved this month.
For balanced view,
to avoid any ramping impressions,
MMs have left a tiny little GAP below at SP 17.5 on 5th Nov 2020,
in case things don't go to plan.
Having read all of the RNS today, all the messages here, and ADVFN,
it is seems the big institutional holders remain committed and believe this will survive and prosper once the shops open.
Yes 2020/21 has been financially challenging (see recent Trading update RNS),
but that's not suprising, and despite the reported loss,
the seem to have built a cash reserve and have access to sufficient banking credit.
The shares also seem to be being held tightly,
daily volumes seem tiny.
I've tried 3 times today to negotiate a buy price below the ask but within the wide spread,
all of which have failed.
From a TA chart view,
SP topped at on 1st March at SP 53, then retraced to Fib 50 (SP 41) support,
and is knocking on the Fib 30 (SP 43) resistance level door today.
RSI had been moving sideways at around 55 for a week of so,
and has now started to tick up to 58 over the last 3 (green candle) days.
1 day chart TA Fib retrace Jan (low) - March (high).
Much like this chat board, it feels like no one has found WRKS yet !
Always DYOR.
Looks to be a lot of big GAPS higher up of the TA chart waiting to be filled,
what origially pushed the SP right down here?
The shops always seemed busy when I paid a visit, before CV 19/20/21.
Sept 2018 GAP SP162-168
May 2019 GAP SP 100-118
Aug 2019 GAP SP 86-89
Nov 2019 GAP SP 57-76
The Feb / March 2020 GAPS were filled on the SP rise since Nov 20.
