only problem with that is that they are ****e and bottom of the league ( sorry wednesday fans from a swans fan who is in the same boat !)
Just noticed that the hoardings around the Hillsborough football ground are promoting Sheffield based 'Cerata', so at least we're getting some exposure for our pre paid sponsorship of Sheffield Wednesday.
Keep shaking the tree you’re not getting any of my shares
Any new business would not want association with WANdisco's past, so hopefully the launch of Cirata will coincide with more contract announcements.
Contract announcements under the new Name sounds very plausible.
Prob going to announce a few at once fwith new name change going official next week.
To my mind they're going to need to start producing RNS's of new and large contracts soon if there is to be any possibility of meeting previous guidance, it's been extremely quiet here as of late.
Well, i was hoping to be close to my buy in price today but still highly confident in this share. Hopefully October brings good news…. surly it has to. May as well buy some more at this price.
Pay day and am topping up as much as I can here. Have real confidence that the coming moths will be really positive.
This is all hugely positive in my mind.
Some after hours trades in - not huge volume but not been published until close. I think the rise should continue, stock looks to be in the ascendence.
@Guiness25
Quality post.

Seems a lot going on behind the scenes at WAND- thats a serious hire https://www.linkedin.com/in/destinibaxter/ she would not have moved after 7 years at Sage if things didnt look promising here. She's very much in with key people at Microsoft and Amazon. News Q4 re new name and branding, new ticker too. Technicals look good for 100p + over next few weeks. Future funding will more than likely be well in excess of where we are today, and at that juncture, could be a strategic investment.
Lots to look forward to.
@walkley Do you really think Kelly would be attracting senior hires to join, including this key hire from Sage, if this wasn't a long term opportunity...?

Cash at end of H1 of $3.2m plus $30m raised less $5.5m (costs of raising funds and the investigation paid in H2). In H1 cash burn was $17.6m. Forecast cash at end of year of $16.0 -$16.5m . All these are management figures. Unless significant increase in revenue (H1 - revenue $3.0m) or further cost reductions - there will only be enough cash to last less than 6 months which is why a rights issue, if possible, is likely.
That was the whole point of the recent rights issue - from my own calculations, the monies raised provide the company with enough liquidity until at least end of 2024 so making out they need a further cash raise now, just a short time after the rights issue shows a basic misunderstanding of figures and balance sheets. In fact as they move into a free cash flow position, the chances of a further rights issue recede markedly, and it is easily possible if business normalises as expected, and some decent wins come in, that no further rights will ever be needed. A lot of staff were culled, this company's cost base is now materially lower than before.
I can only infer that those who repeatedly mention that they think a rights issue is likely then in the near term have ulterior motives for their comments. Perhaps they are former sacked staff, or shareholders who lost big time when the price collapsed from £14? Who knows, but we really do not need everyone with a grudge on here.
Sold today after watching this SP go down for several days and before I lost all my profit. I do however think this is a good share long term and possibly after a further issue of shares at a discount to shore up finances. I do believe this will need to happen before December. I will continue watching with interest and buy back in when I think the time is right. Good luck to all still holding.
A cash injection is not needed for survival immediately post Christmas. That's simply inaccurate.
Unless the institutions who have put money in are willing to give them more time and will put more in!
Or cashing out before the discount for the fund raise …??
I’m estimating (so nothing other than public data) cash injection needed for survival beyond Christmas so RNS on raise in next 21-28 days ..??
Happy to be wrong on back of a rabbit out of hat miracle- but history isn’t on their side
I don't think there's actually been a lot of selling, merely a completely disproportionate response to any selling.
Horrendous :(
Lot of selling at the moment really hitting the Sp
Great comment TT1981
Given that for most tech firms a disproportionate amount of deals get over the line right towards the end of the quarter (this Friday) then I'm expecting at least 1 juicy RNS this week / early next week latest. GLA.
