just out of curiosity these gen sets that are being removed whose are they vog,s or eneo,s
Thanks.
Not really the best of news, then.
eneo was the big fish a few years ago
so was west med
both dead
Is the Bassa power station still operational, RF68?
Will this provide us an alternative for ENEO supply?
Some back information:

I take it from 68's comment about a very low eneo gas tariff that when the massive power deal being lined up comes into being, the rate per scuff will be at least as good.
Then I suppose we'll have to wait for the larger cash settlement?
Garonne. Whilst Eneo paying up would undoubtedly be good news, I am fascinated that you see an instant multibag of the sp, presumably to at least 18p, just on the repayment of $9m.
Maybe if it were accompanied by a new contract with state or parent company guarantees your hypothesis may have legs.
Thanks for the link happysparrow. Roy certainly knows his onions where oil and gas are concerned, which augurs well for VOG's prospects. If we can get ENEO to pay up the SP will multibag easily as thanks to the successful remedial work on La-108 we've now got copious amounts of gas to sell.
Garonne, Hi - yes, aclass act indeed. Note that he is ex-Kerogen and that Kerogen are the principal shareholders of New Age (the Etinde Project). Thus he is well connected for getting something happening there (and I thought it could lead to a takeover/merger by/with New Age).
This was the only interview I have found him on (from Malcy's Blog):
"Finally, last week I was a guest speaker on an oil webinar hosted by IG and was joined by new Victoria Oil & Gas CEO Roy Kelly as well as expert oil and trading analysts from the home team. The link is below and is very long but I come on at 6m30s and Roy at 28m30s if you are interested!"
IGTV interview: Oil – Has The Market Changed Forever?
https://www.malcysblog.com/2020/05/igtv-interview-oil-has-the-market-changed-forever/
I expect Malcy will do a CORE TV interview with him at some stage.
Agree, Happysparrow. This guy Roy Kelly looks like he's a class act. Lots of excellent pedigree. He hasn't come here just for a pay cheque. He has a good reputation to preserve and am sure wouldn't want to tarnish it on some no hope company. I have a feeling we're going to start to finally realise at least some of VOG's original potential and maybe sooner rather than later.
CT - that was the past under Foo/Dik.
New management now - a completely different kettle of fish. Hence why the share price jumped.
The upside in VOG in theory looks very interesting, but they always seem to have legal issues or issues with the government. Its like it never ends.
I held here for many years during Fool's reign.(lost loads) I even emailed him and got replays too, all of which were bullish on VOG's prospects! He used to say his aim was to make VOG a midcap company. Never happened but that's not to say it couldn't. I took a punt on Thursday just in case it does!
why people selling here. Hope you all made from 4.5p last week
I moved 50% of profit to RMS had to be done - to buy short shares. High there was 7.20p as RMS prepares for production this month and demand for product over subscribed and German manufacturer on boarded this weekend . Keep an eye out in RMS, as it will jump over 10p now before we know it.
Maybe people starting to have a reality check https://twitter.com/OilGasTracker/status/1328318037875957760
Have the pump and dump brigade left the building???
wont be sold
and certainly you wont get it back
3CB - the point I was making is that the $60m cost overrun by the previous rotten useless management perhaps has some potential for investigation (criminal?); and a return of some funds to VOG.
It definitely would come as a pleasant surprise for current shareholders.
Mal. Think you are barking up the wrong tree there. 68 has already told us he hasn't got a clue who banjostring was
3card
3Card,
Have you noticed that RF joined LSE 6 days after Banjodik's last post?
Sparrow. The drill campaign budget was $40m. At the finish the cost was nearer $100m. It wasn't all atributable to the well incident. take off the insurance claim and you still have a massive cost overrun. Why do you think that was?
You're not Pshepp either.
Plenty has been said frequently on the ADVFN board, 3CB. I don't regard it as slanderous - I would just like to know the truth. After having lost money in Globo, I have considerable empathy for any shareholders caught up in such dealings. But, it must be stressed, Roy's first actions here were to rid us of the old management. VOG is a very different beast now.
Hi Luton and Malbrum. Good to see you both still around.
Mal have a word with rf68. He's convinced MT and me are one and the same. I'm pretty certain we were 2 people when we saw you at the agm 2 years ago.
Why doesn't he just check LSEs records to compare our IP addresses?
