Wow Dan, can we help push the SP up just by our imagination? Really? I didn't know. Why didn't you tell me earlier, so that I could have started imagining sooner. The SP must be over £3 by now if I did!!........ hahahaha
sidi. My last post wasn't aimed at you bye the way. I think though, we all need to imagine the sp going up, not down.
Were you saying that I lack of imagination Dan? Are Mikey's jokes really that profound??
Sorry Mikey, I am only joking here.......Hahahaha
You could always try thinking? That might work?
You do that Mikey. Make it more funny will you?.....lol
Shame - ill have to use something other than skiing and olympics then next week
Lol mole_man, your £25 a month doesn't mean all profits for Vodafone. When stripes off the cost, there probably only just one pound or even 50p profit for VOD. It will take a lot longer than 233 million year to pay off VOD's debt from the money made off you......hahahaha
Good evening all. Oh Dan, you couldn't see my mistyped? Here they are:
.......130's maybe, 140's will very difficult and 150's will be a miracle! Sorry for negativity again...
The mistyped (s):
_140's will 'be' difficult...
_Sorry for 'the' negativity again...
Yes, quite a relief to see the SP recovered from earlier loss, but truly disappointed after the good results. If that couldn't help to push the SP up, I really wonder what can?
Lol Mikey, you really did enjoy your show very much today. Didn't you? But honestly, I didn't find it funny at all. Please try harder.
Now, next week will be another week. Maybe things will be different and hope to see the SP climbing its way back to the 120's or even 130's.
Good luck everyone and have a great weekend...

Hello mole, Sorry mate, but I can't make any sense of your latest post? So more fool me perhaps, or you need to explain?
Well I can't get starlink yet so keeping the VOD unlimited data card in the 4g modem. Every little helps to get VOD through a likely turgid August on the markets, as it always used to be.
Mind you, it will take 233m years for my £25 a month to pay off the debt.
sidi. "sorry for the mistyped (s)" I am appalled by your Sloppy grammar which is just not good enough for a vodafone Amigo. I think me & robleo may have to re consider your position? At least the sp almost broke even today, who knows what will happen next week? Good luck Amigo. I can't find actually find your mistyped (s) by the way?
"Think positive, or just sell up & go away is what I think! Fleccy's £2 by the end of the year, would be fantastic."
I did actually say by the end of next year, but I'd be more than happy to see £2 by the end of this year, just don't see it happening that soon unfortunately.
Dan, i think you know i only said that as a joke, vodfone is only a small part of my portfolio, I wish i was getting as much in dividends from it as you
Best of luck
robleo. I am pleased for you that you have a lower average than me, but what do you mean when you say you are losing nearly 200 per share? I am losing 84p per share. Anyway, we are both losing, me probably far more than you,but let's just hope for the best. Think positive, or just sell up & go away is what I think! Fleccy's £2 by the end of the year, would be fantastic. Good luck everybody. A good Friday hopefully?
yea sidi, its really annoying when you top up and the bugger drops again isn't it Grrrr, at least we have a lower average than Dan
"Even so, there is still very slim chance of the SP will ever get near to that. 130's maybe, 140's will very difficult and 150's will be a miracle!"
Depends on your timescale, if you're talking about next week, or maybe even next month, you're probably correct, but there's no reason why Vodafone can't be £2+ by the end of next year. A few things seem to have knocked the share price over the last 3 years, the market seemed to take Colao's departure badly, and India may have upset sentiment too. The current low price probably suits VOD's share buyback program, although you'd think the buyback program would push the price up, but apparently not. My break even price is 153p, but I wouldn't dream of selling at that price.
.....sorry for the mistyped(s)....
Good evening robleo, Dan, Mikey and everyone. My average was 194.5p but I have topped up recently @132.74p and brought it down to now 178.5p. Even so, there is still very slim chance of the SP will ever get near to that. 130's maybe, 140's will very difficult and 150's will be a miracle! Sorry for negativity again.......oh and Mikey, touch wood. Please don't say that. It will be blue tomorrow and will finish the week in style---very blue!...........lol
Good evening Dan & Sidi , Dan my average is 185.48p, it was 197 before I topped up at 118 last week, but also hold Vodafone in isa around 200 p , nice to see this going up a little today, hope we can finish on a high tomorrow, and see this making some progress next week, don't expect any miracles here, but as long as dividend is secure, and we can see it making some progress, it will be a lot better than going backwards like its been lately
fingers crossed for a good finish to the week

Sold all Vodafone yesterday and bought BT.
Today Vodafone is up 1% bt down 6.5%.
Lesson: invest on fundamentals not market herd.
Vodafone will come good.
These are expensive mistakes people buy overpriced shares and sell the bargains. Vodafone is a bargain.
Hello Robina. You say the M.M'S hike the price, but surely it is investors who auto re-invest there divi that pushes up the price. Why don't you just wait if you think the sp will fall back. I suspect you think, whatever you do, it will be the wrong thing, It's called the sod's law syndrome? You have to try & ignore it, difficult perhaps? Tell me what you are going to do though, so that I can do the opposite? I am joking of course. Good luck.
I'd like for my average to reduce so I'm not running at a loss but can't see that happening any time soon. Dont know yet whether to auto reinvest the dividend. My prediction is bound to come true which will annoy me. It seems obvious the MMs will hike the price for a day or two and every penny counts.
rodleo. I definitely did not know that you paid nearly £3.15 per share. But sorry to hear that. Me I paid average £2. So we both need a lot of good luck. creeping up today. Robina. You are so cynical! I assume you will wait then before re-investing your divi? or just spend it perhaps?
My prediction is a rise on the 6th so we pay more for dividend reinvestment, followed by a steep decline to 110 or below.
Humm, I think with BT's results today, it puts a shine on our results, hope the market see's that.
Wil57Woo .... Oh dear !!! Out of the Frying pan and into the fire it appears.
