well done MSDI AKA CSDI, I realise all the hard work all you winners have put into this, all the research and number crunching etc, and all the stress you must have gone through all week seeing the price go up and down hoping your calculations work out for the Friday
cheers guys, I must try harder myself
Well well well.......last weeks prediction was a complete debacle......1-30 lol thought i was on for a winner with that....never mind onwards and upwards hopefully.....this really is under valued can only see a rise here so gonna have a go at 1-25.....well done csdi you were very close the previous weeks so a well deserved winner....
Evening all
Just come to collect my gold medal award for outstanding guess work, to back up my recent silver medal performances.
There is just so much skill involved in predicting this SP, I am thing of changing my name from CSDI to MSDI (Crap Share Dealing Ideas to Master of Share Dealing Ideas)
So for next week mystic Meg has been approached and unbelievably says we should stick with 117.9 as we begin to put a floor in to support the SP.
GLA VODders
Cheers MSDI (aka CSDI) LOL
Cheers Dan, and fingers crossed for good results that will push the share price up
as for the ceo I have seen the charts since 2018 when your hero took over a 5 year ago, a proper ski slope, creating value for share holders when our investment has lost half it's value? don't make me laugh, anyway I'm sure we won't fall out about our difference of opinion on that one, have a good weekend mate and best of luck
Hi rob. I will go 1.24. & I support this amazing new C.E.O. that New Sid is going to tell us all about, we hope??! As long as it is not rob the builder!
New Sid. So who is this C.E.O. with the potential to turn vodafone around. Many complain Nick Read is well over paid, but I assume if this new C.E.O. is that good he would want even more.
Thank you for your opinions, But not one of you has answered my question, who should replace him. Bob the builder was one suggestion? & as for why am I supporting this guy? because none of you can come up with an alternative apart from Bob the builder. I think that, if to replace Nick Read is the correct thing to do, this kangaroo court forum is probably not the best place to decide it? I will repeat, there are many reasons why vod is underperforming, but sacking Nick Read is unlikely to change that , in my opinion.
Hi Rob and all
My prediction is 1.20 ....
I feel results will be middle of road and won't make 2 hoots to sp ...
NewSid, of course and anyone else the more the merrier, and what matters to me is getting back my lost capital, so anyone who can do that will get my support
cheers
Hi robleo, I would like to join the prediction club if possible please.
I predict 1.23 and don't support Nick Reed
Thanks
A big week next week guys, so if we can get your prediction in for this one please, and whether you support nick reed or not, let's hope the results are good enough to push up the sp
good luck all
Well a bit of a disappointing week, but it was Friday 13th ?
I would like to congratulate CSDI as the winner of this weeks competition, as top investor of the week, i did tell him he would have to work harder with his calculations and it'd paid off well done

The much touted & impending German recession will really hit VOD hard as it amounts for a large part of the company profits & confidence, the SP will soon let us all know how hard.
Batten down the hatches, so glad I sold 10K's worth @ £1.39.
So Dan - FTSE up nearly 200 points - Vodafone the worst one of 5 stocks down ending yet another down week . With results Tuesday this is likely to hit the £1 soon . How on earth can you keep backing Reid - and dont say who would I put in - thats not the point he has done *** all for the Company and share since he took over - I think Bob the Builder would be better than him !!!!!! - you will still be saying he is the man for the job at sub £1 - you are deluded !!!!!!
Very well said newsid, Dan you would have lost half your capital here in the last 5 years, why the **** are you backing this guy really ? And you know this is not personal
Terminal rubbish even by dog index ftse 100 standards, Read didn’t take action soon enough and it’s very expensive having wrong ceo or not replacing a bad one quickly enough. Reality is U.K. listed telecoms are in terminal decline, there is no money in it and hasn’t been for over a decade, it’s a dividend stock and we all know what happens to those, you buy for a 6 per cent divi then lose half your capital.
Thank you @Dan. No one is saying running a company like Vodafone is not exceedingly complicated, but that’s the challenge for a world-class CEO, and that’s why they get paid top £.
Nick has had 5 years of proving himself and VOD has been in a continuous spiral of decline. The problem is now seemingly the institutional investors have lost faith in his ability and no matter what he does Vod SP is doomed.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me and that’s why institutional investors are now dumping Vod shares at scale.
I truly believe there’s a CEO out there with the potential that can turn Vod around. I know that much for now though, it’s not Nick
GLA
Ftse increasing in the blue over 130 - voda going opposite and decreasing even more - back below £1.10 soon - god help the slightest hint of bad results for any shareholders . How long is he going to hang on !!!!!!!
Thank's for all your comments, but can you please tell me who should replace Nick Read? I am sure it costs a lot to replace the C.E.O. of a company like vodafone. Why do you think that a new C.E.O. would do a better job. Surely you all realise that vodafone's problems are complex. Competition is a big problem, & merging is proving to be very difficult. Sorry, but surely just the knee jerk sack Nick isn't really very helpful. So I would be very grateful if someone could tell me why sacking Nick Read will help? Thank you. Good luck to all, Dan.
Ftse up ove 118 - voda top of the six losers - well done Nick - awsome job - you have done as you said and provided value to your shareholders - NOT
At least Nick is not a ******ed idiot.
You left out could stay as it is, you should cover all possibilities lol
Mm. Decision decision.
Hold now, make 50 percent. Your choice.
Dump now, or prepare to lose another 50 percent . Your choice
