Post from resident deramper on ADVFN (amazing how non invested negative bots are straight onto RNS's for shares they despise).
"The shares went to Peterhouse Capital maybe at about 0.060p they would have offloaded them for 0.065p so the shares are in the hands of bucket shop MM basically looking for anything over 0.066p."
Nomura. Did you read the link i sent you. Heres another reason why SGS may have sold
'Further, under the MoU, SGSC has agreed to grant Cizzle Biotechnology potential future royalty payments from the commercialisation of St George Street Capital's therapeutic asset AZD1656 of up to £5 million,'
They need the money!!!
yes, so you would sell all your shares at the first opportunity after a lock in period in a company that is about to announce commercialisation and the results of a major trial? All to fund other projects? pull the other one
what a plum.
hahahhahahahhahhahhhahhah it explains in the RNS hhahahhahhha - to invest in new drugs whilst it continues commercial discussions on AZD because thats SGSs stated corporate strategy, to monetise after successful Phase II by licencing the drug.
hahahhahha
Several posters have responded to you. Stop posting and think about the answers.
To fund other research projects.
Pretty simple.
I'll come back later when Nomura has stopped posting.
It's irritating mate, as Pilgrim has stated all the info is in the RNS's, if you're invested here without reading any then that's beyond worrying.
Simply they need money
haha
still no one has given an answer as to why they sold at the first opportunity
nomura
They are not private investors.
If you can't research a few RNS's and find out what their role was, I'm not going to spoon feed you
designed to sell? what?
It was a lock in period. They sold at the first opportunity. My question is why? Why not hold and sell in the uplift of results/commercialisation.....
Getting blue
We can now probably assume all near term motivated sellers are out, including SGS and the warrant holders that previously exercised into shares. Shares now in stronger hands leading into deal news, SP already looking a little stronger as large sells begin to dry up.
Nomura I get your logic but it's not how it works and would've been agreed at point of the initial deal.
Let's not ignore what is good news yeah? The trial is a success and we move to a deal of some sort.
It tells you in the RNS what they're doing with the money...god these LSE BB's are a joke
Topprize, thats the point i was getting at....
Have you done any research on this company? They were designed to sell on completion of successful phase 2..that was the agreement..at least read a few RNS's before posting
Lord sutch… SGS didn’t buy the shares it was in the deal!! The shares are done and dusted and new investors have taken them on… these would probably be large investors even though the amounts are small here, seeing the potential they may want to invest more as well.
no...but they wont have sold them for more than the market value will they? I the results were good they would surely hold them and sell at a better price.....
Regardless how good an rns is delivered someone will always find a complaint .it's like the Labour Party under keir starmer .too slow to end lockdown ooh your unlocking lockdown .way too soon .smile be happy for once in your miserable existence
As people have previously mentioned. SGSC arent a investment company, they got their money and have gone off. In all likelihood they will that the £1m(+-) they have taken from their share sales and pump that into another drug which could return 10 times that.
We understand from SGSC that, following the successful results of the ARCADIA trial released last week, it has begun commercial discussions with potential licensees of AZD1656 and will be using the proceeds from the sale of its Vela shares to develop several new innovative-drug programmes.
It adds up perfectly..don't be stupid
