16.30RNS?
If first shipment to Mercuria is to be ready end of August/ beginning of September, then it’s inevitable that another placing is on the way. Hopefully shouldn’t be any lower than say .18p which isn’t too much a drop from here. I would also believe that the potential new finance to replace Atlas would want to see if AP can deliver first shipment on time and achieve required quantities before any possible deal.
Bet we get an update from him next week !!
Bet he is not happy see the SP tank after "fantastic drilling results" especially in Silver
All buys showing forward selling of placing....
maybe
Now they won't let you buy
Is a bit odd I can sell at mid-price and buy at mid-price. Looks like an order being worked through.
Can see the bid strengthening each sell
Yet people selling??
If you wait a little longer you'll get higher won't you
First target is approx 50% up from here at 0.3p
Bid getting stronger by the minute
Each sell getting paid a little more
I'm now offered 20.51p to sell a chunk
It’s the fear of a placing based on past form, the markets playing on that and keeping the price low, some people are Selling out on hope of a lower price on placing, for me I’m holding and will add more if placing does land, if it doesn’t and announcement of first delivery of goods then price will go up, either way happy enough to hold and see...... good luck to those that sell and hope you do get back in price you want.....
Very good and comprehensive and honest summary!
Could add...
Blueberry IPO....whats going on with that?
Other mine projects in Romania previously mentioned but no progress.
You may well be correct. The odds are that he must tell the truth at least once in his life.
From 22/6/20 placing RNS:
'In addition, the funds being raised will provide the Company with funding for the first month’s production at the Baita Plai Polymetallic Mine until the first sale of concentrate expected in late August, together with some further general working capital.
Andrew Prelea, CEO of Vast, commented:
“We are happy that the final stages of development at Baita Plai are proceeding on time and as planned and expect that the funds raised today will take us through to the anticipated date when we can achieve cash flow through the sale of concentrate.”'
My question is why do investors believe another placing is coming when cash flow is imminent (apart from APs love of them of course) ? GLA
I think I am following haha. Will check later. Wish you luck!
Hi Chris,
No it's flimflamman, however I hardly ever post I just use it to check on trends and on the spot reactions to news / happening, so I wouldn't bother following lol.
You must be, or have been, in a few shares I watch hence I remember you, I'm not a stalker honestly!
I will keep topping up as I have from 16s..... however I have to say that I am slightly gobsmacked that AP has been very muted since production started some time after the 27th July. A 2 minute vid of a miner prodding some rocks, a little bang and a few bits of rock wizzing down a chute seems slightly amateurish if that is to b sen as "the great launch"after waiting 5 years to move to production phase was to be applauded. I really think there is an element of subterfuge going on... By the fact he is even putting putting out a RNS that still talks in vagaries is equally startling for someone who has turned a very long corner . To be honest it just isnt good enough Andrew as some peeps have stuck by you through the bad times and this is supposed to be momentous for the company especially with commodity prices doing well. The SP reflects the uncertainty that was supposed to have gone away... it hasn't and there is a clear lack of leadership and transparency that needs fixing quickly... I am convinced these problems will go away, but considering the great opportunity for AP to turn over a new leaf as we enter production.....he has sadly let us down.... the next RNS will be the important one I figure..... either a placement to get us over the line probably to meet the quantity [the line that keeps moving] or it will be that finance is closer...... I also think some selling is SVS related.........just some thoughts. B
Hi Alan,
Yes that is me, stern photo haha. I have not been hugely active on twitter recently as I have been looking more at currencies and no one seems to care about anything other than aim haha but hope to be more active soon.
Is your twitter handle the same?
chris - I was equally tired of all the vast crew and rampers here.. GL
PS: if you don't like something, feel free to use the filter.. or buy out vast and take it private.. GL
What AP delivered?
- BP licence
- Mercuria Tranche1
- Getting BP closer to production.. waiting for RNS confirmation
- Probably more to the list people can add, but nothing significant or strategic for now
Why it will take time for AP to build any trust… Poor delivery vs promises over the last 2.5 years…
- Where are all the money raised going and what are people working for VAST doing?
- Expanded too fast and too thin. Wasted precious resources on “non-strategic assets” and ran out of cash. No strategic thinking, no risk management and no prudent cash management
- $1m raised for diamonds? Where did the money go?
- Money raised for Manaila trucks? Where did the money go or where is the truck?
- Headroom requested for one and used for others
- BP in production within 6 months of licence approval BS. Continued to be a liability – huge de-watering costs which was multiplied by finance delays.
- Mercuria 2 failure and Bergen saga.. All “ON TRACK” BS and eventual failure. We will not convert Bergen BS and Bergen did.
- Finance; we have option a, b, c and d. But couldn’t get any.
- Corporate Finance restructuring to balance books BS. Look at the shambles of current financial position.
- Sold PP at the wrong time, look where the gold price is above $2000
- When finance package was announced in Oct-19, AP said no more dilution in podcast (unless until he gets a lucrative concession... etc). VAST did a placement straight after.
-Remember the twitter of few videos in Dec-19, apparently China equipment was not needed but VAST using refurbishment equipment (false dawn on restarting mine)
- We are always on cusp of something.. cusp of signing diamond (not VAST’s fault), cusp of arranging finance, cusp of BP production, cusp of turn-around.. for only the cusp to disappear after few weeks.
- Placement, placement, placements…from 5.1b shares to 12.2b shares. Share price from 0.55p to 0.15p.
- More than 70% reduction in share price under his watch.. (While all along AP’s BP 20% is undiluted or unaffected)
- There is more to the list and I am sure people can add
3 things AP must do;
- Proper Debt Finance facility: Now that he raised more for further documentations, better deliver debt finance facility.
- Production by Jul-20: Progress had been made at BP for production in Jul-20. Need confirmation.
- Lay out revenue generation plan: (from slow start to ramp up of course). Deliver against the revenue generation plan. No point in starting a mine, if you cannot generate revenue.
Of course there is opportunity with BP mine – copper, gold, silver and molybdenum… fabulous grades which supports the historical data. And one of the reasons for me to buy VAST roughly 3 years ago. But if I had diluted from 5.1b to 12b shares whilst reducing by more than 70% reduction (from 0.55p to 0.15p) – I have every right to sceptical of VAST’s BoD.

Ah Chris I may also follow and like your Twitter account, possibly? If it's just a fairly stern looking face pic, I may be mistaken. Probably am.
"
I wish you luck with buying back in but if anything I would would expect a spike on finance news."
Yes that may be the difficulty if some great funding news. From an entirely selfish point of view a placing would offer a good re-entry hopefully followed by a good recovery and build up of fair value.
Time will tell, wouldn't be the first and won't be the last potential bad decision I make :)
Happy to have a board that sets out different opinions, but repeating the same thing over and over is tiresome.
I wish you luck with buying back in but if anything I would would expect a spike on finance news. Anyway, good luck all.
Don't hold many VAST sp, been in and out over the years, but just a note on some sanity here. BP couldn't have started production at a better time as we speak silver is up 90% from its lows this year, gold near 40% at ATH, Copper near 50% up from its lows this year. BP has great grades, and in a market with commodities and precious metals flying, will easily sure up financing in this climate. The bottom line to profit has changed dramatically in this landscape. BP profit will be close to 50% higher at least than what they were previously imagined when metal prices were lower.
"we're producing and soon we'll be generating cash flow.....if you dont believe that why are you here"
I don't think any, or many, dispute this. I certainly don't, I just have doubts in short term timeline, lack of clarity in recent RNA and funding not yet clarified in RNA. These are my personal doubts, whether or not any of them materialise is anyone's guess.
Anyways I think it's good to debate the ins and outs. Once funding clarified for me, or a placing I will be looking for a re-entry I would imagine.
biglad: "apart from the numpty`s".
But unfortunately, there are some of those.
