Thank you for that excellent synopsis
antfolli looks like you want a lower entry? why do you constantly come on and talk bs when you have no interest in this share? im sure the Japanese know something you dont for them to have an interest in VAL. Please give it a rest!
So clearly you are not positive about Val, why hang around on this board. Are you shorting or looking for a lower entry antofelli?....either way every share will have it's naysayers...for what it is worth i think Val has a very bright future with all the positive changes made...each to their own
I agree Mr nation also if val201 wasnt as good then why would they use val201 as a potential cure for covid-19 also I agree there are too many trolls on this bb. Best to ignore them. Best to hold for gold. Good luck all
Grace. You have just confirmed my post in respect to the trial extension and dosage.
Very exciting. Could possibly see the 'mother of all corrections'
Great post by maths prof.
For 201, I see this as much more of a positive than him/her. The trial was extended because they were then granted permission to hugely exceed the previous maximum dosage of 201. Which means that whatever results they achieved in the first trial, could possibly come out better in the extended trial. This was the main thing that made me invest personally, as everyone in the company would have had a set of results ready to look at. This is why I think the directors have bought shares, as they already have access to the first set of results and can see they are good (pure speculation obviously, but would they have done this if the results weren’t good? It’s derisked for them, as they already have data to go from and it could possibly only get better from there). If it were me, as a company, I wouldn’t have released the first dataset either. It makes sense to publish just the extended version. Would you want your company to release ok/good results or possibly excellent results? I’d go for the latter.
Maths prof hit the nail on the head with 401. It really is an unknown, having only seven patients for the dataset. They tried to recruit 20, but proved difficult with late stage lung cancer, as it progresses very quickly. Out of the 8 recruited, 1 died and they only managed to get two patients in that were well enough to scan them, which did actually show that it stopped the cancer growing at that scan (so 100% success rate, but only on two patients, so would unlikely be statistically significant). I can see why they are having difficulty with progressing with trials, due to the nature of end stage lung cancer, as it’s difficult to recruit people. Another positive was the data shows the drug did Make people feel slightly better, in a number of ways. But again, for such a small dataset, you’d need a much larger trial really.
Lets also not forget, the “it bloody works” statement, the fact patents have been kept in place (why waste money, when there was very little) if something positive was not possible, the interest from Japan & Mystic & others, all “wanting control” for a cash injection, that George wouldnt give! And finally, that a new Co had been set up to hive “ip” off into, had G & M managed to force Admin....
Now with a mainly new BoD, a new CEO, who is a scientist, & imo a good leader / business person, by knowing she needs the help of other good business people... (no ego, & lots of common sense & desire) makes for imo... all sorts of positive possibilities, given time patience & support of the shareholders!
Rome wasnt built in a day & neither will Valirx be! But... if just one compound comes to commercial... it will (again imo) be world beating!!!!
30p short term, 80p if good updates.... 1 or more pounds if as George (prematurely stated) IT BLOODY WORKS
Please dyor all im my opinion and well done Fred!!!!
Mp , thanks very informative
What is needed is a critical appraisal of MrNation's factual posts, as well as the posts themselves.
There are some caveats to the facts, eg:
401. Results were out almost 3 years ago, on a dataset of 7 patients. Valiseek have been trying to find partners and money for several years, and promises so far have come to nothing.
201. Trial extended 2 years ago without publishing intermediate results. Have enough patients been recruited now? Does anyone expect good or indifferent or poor data? How can we assess the likelihood of getting results that will lead to the next stage? I'm pessimistic, based on the reluctance of the previous managemnet to publish any data, but I realise that many are much more optimistic.
Mcap. What would you actually expect the mcap to be of a company at this stage of development? Have the past woes been banished? Here I'm much more positive. Even at this stage, £15-20m is not unreasonable.
What will the short term effect of warrants being cashed in be? Should I wait to buy when the price returns to 13p next week?, or will we never see 13p again?
Conclusion. Worth a punt under 20p. Expect more volatility.
mouth watering some of these deals. Imagine the story of Val for old and new investors if this is noticed by a major? Need to keep feet on the ground though!
MN, just keep doing your stuff, thanks :)
Bm if I were to ramp anything at this moment in time it would be gold and silver! However Val is my favourite it this moment in time :)
its not good to have all your eggs in one basket. I had done that for far too long with AFC. Still invested and still waiting for its transformation. It will happen but its been a long wait.
There is benefits to having your money in several companies. I tend to hold about 4 or 5 different shares. Only AIM now, so relatively high risk but with a bit of hard work and analysis you can derisk as much as possible.
Interesting little addition to the portfolio yesterday was Itaconix (ITX). Have been on a long down trend as they go through R&D. Now seeing exponential revenue growth in a large addressable market, cashed up and coming off the bottom of the curve.
However, VAL is currently my most exciting prospect right now.
I hope your strategy works out oldbaldy. If it works for you it will work for everyone else on here as we are all invested.
Grace, I thought we were polite to be honest, however we had some fairly nasty responses..... you held your own, fair play :)
SNG? Not yet but I’m thinking about it, I don’t like to have all my eggs in one basket, so it’s an option
I’m tempted to put a lump into TUI, it will go back up to £8-£10 a share, it could take a couple of years, but I really cannot see a reason why it wouldn’t ?
Oldbaldy, I did notice today that they were removed. I wonder why? Good luck if you do decide to invest with SNG :)
The Italian, done and dusted!
We move onwards and upwards :) There was some talk a while ago that if this gets to 50p we all go out for a drink
Shall we say £1 and make it an Indian?
I’m centre south, close “ish” to the coast, but I travel well, ha ha
GLA :)
well fair enough bananaman and saint tropez. obviously i find myself in a very small minority (perhaps its only me) which finds it quite off-putting. perhaps it's best if i keep my thoughts to myself.gla
Grace, I’m fairly sure our posts were removed ha ha :)
Good for you grace, as you know I did try to spread the word and got my fingers burnt the other evening lol
I’m actually slightly tempted to have a couple of pounds over there, it’s looking promising, spread the love so to speak
However I think I will steer clear of the bb
Gl :)
I’m only here because of a cross ramp on the SNG board from Mr Nation. When I then arrived to do a bit of research, it was easy due to helpful people like him posting an overview of the company. This made me get in quickly with my first buy. When I had more time to do some proper research later that week, I topped up big for the first time. Then topped up again with a little one again yesterday.
So overall, I’d say he really adds value to this share in more ways than one.
the.italian. Mr Nation is posting relevant info so it can be found amongst all the posts.
We will still get
'when is news due ?'
'Who is selling ?'
Blah blah blah.
Mr Nation is posting relevant info at the top of the post history.
why do you keep posting this? constant repetition does not add to its significance and starts to become counter productive. imo
IF they get an upfront payment of £100m (unlikely to be honest but you never know); then the mkt cap will be multiples of that. But hey, not complaining :)
Booooooooom
