The shares are suspended as some shareholders cannot sell their shares; if there is selling pressure when the shares re-list then it would be reasonable to expect the share price to suffer. Not having shares in their accounts to sell would not prevent them buying, would it?
After being suspended twice any selling pressure from insiders is likely to be interpreted as a negative sign.
'The FCA temporarily suspended trading in the Company's shares as a result of its concerns regarding some shareholders who were involved in a ************** agreement prior to the Company's Admission to trading, not being able to trade all of their shares. This was due, in some instances, to share trading accounts not having been fully activated.'
A market update should follow to calm the nerves here..
Making it sound like a tech issue, but I suspect that there is more to this than has been revealed.
A technical issue. All good. Should fly when lifted
Lets hope the suspension relates to an M&A. Still very poor that no notification from the Company and yes, it is very disrespectful to the shareholders. Not sure if a M&A would warrant a suspension unless requested by the Company. I believe the suspension was actioned by the FCA.
Scrounging for news from South Africa is that UHS is in discussions with a M&A of 2 health facilities which is a good sign that trading will be restored hopefully in about a couple of days and that there is a heartbeat.
Why the BoD are not able to put out a communique over www.umuthiplc.com is shortsighted & disrespects shareholders now and in the future as open channels of comms is essential.
Can we read something please and update the website!
Be the quickest loss i`ve ever had if this goes under. How it ever got listed is beyond me...Spent more time in suspension that trading days. Fkn Donkey...
Hmm so it appears that the license would seem to haveexpired?
From the UHS Prospectus:
Lems requires a licence to market, manufacture, distribute, sell or supply medicines or medical devices in South Africa. Lems’ licence was last renewed on 18 November 2015 and is valid for five years from
that date subject to on-going compliance requirements, including costs of licensing and accreditation.
Any failure to retain the current licence, obtain necessary renewals or such additional licences as the Board
may consider desirable may negatively impact the prospects, operations and financial condition of the
business.
If this has or has not been renewed, either way the BoD needs to issue a release to that effect.
That might still happen depending on findings.
The absence of any BoD statement or release whatsoever, even from the website, which corporate update was last done on 23 March, becomes ever more ominous as the Temporary Suspension is held in place.
Going back to study the UHS Prospectus and see what gaps and vulnerabilities could be under investigation
Its a strange one, as the huge buys at circa 80 have not been cancelled (even though the stock is suspended , I've seen trades get cancelled before )
Looks like the share dump of last week over 3 days could have been flagged & is being looked into
anyone had any thoughts or updates here ?
An update would be appreciated here !
No news. Come on BOD tell us what’s happening!!!
They should have imho to keep us all informed. So hopefully news on Monday lifting the suspension.
From the company in the morning informing shareholders what is going on.
Sounds correct, more so if they are directors/family trying to offload. Hope that this Company gets sorted out firmly in what they can do as i`m not sure if the Directors are playing the rules. Good for the suspension and hope that it is trading soon after the FCA lay the law down. Always a gamble for me but i want a level playing field for more than a day before i lose my stake.
Looks like the 3 big share blocks (2 X 250,000) and 1 X 500,000 shares attempting to offload - caused some concerns at the FCA - as trading halted after the 500K sell order at around 2:00 pm
They will be asking questions expecting proper answers
Speculative bet on this one yesterday and wanted a gamble. First time i have a share suspended the next day. They have been accepted onto the LSE and must have been audited to have been approved. Obviously the erratic share price movement is the reason for suspension and it looks like this is being investigated to see what is actually going on. It may have been better if the Company was listed as a casino...Have i lost investment or will it come back from suspension next week ? Live & learn.
If anyone gets any further info please post on here. In the meantime I have no choice but to place these in the bottom draw and hope one day I can dust them off.
That went well...... See what the company says
Anyone have any idea?
Umuthi Healthcare Solutions Plc Ord Gbp0.001
It has a market capitalisation of £32m, with approximately 92m shares in issue.
Over the last 2 months, Umuthi Health. share price has been traded in a range of 130, hitting a high of 160, and a low of 30...............
I wonder… I can only think that it’s the major shareholder realising some gains from his holdings.
