If it is any consolation Urals Energy is now also worth F' All to that thieving bastard Kononov and his henchmen. With any luck they will be queueing up for a loaf of bread with Joe public at the end of all this.
Not that I am bitter and twisted!
Time for Kononov to get his dose of Novichok and go bye bye's
Just stumbled upon this. I think our money is gone along with all the other people he's robbed on the way

I wish in this share from 2009 - 2016 and always kept up with what was going on. Who can ever forget that telephone conference in late 2009 that was gatecrashed by the former largest shareholder, a Russian guy, you couldn't make it up.
Luckily got out before the final suspension and subsequent delisting, however I notice that the website it still up.
Would be interested to hear if anyone has heard anything from the company lately, and what has happened to their shares / how they can sell them.
As I wrote at the time:
A tragic result for shareholders. Hate to see people lose money and opportunity. This is exactly why I wrote previously about the insanity of supporting Kononov and his ilk. Voting for a Russian boss and a Russian board rather than a British board and a British market listing is simply masochistic. Crimea, anyone? Donbass? Ossetia? Oligarchs? Novichok? No? All fake news? Voting to give such people control seemed like a good idea, did it? What's next? A voluntary lobotomy? Despite the unadulterated idiocy of the EGM result I do sincerely wish everyone good luck and hope that shareholders get their money back ASAP. Finger crossed on your behalf.
To those who supported Kononov and liked the idea of handing control to the Russians... How do you feel now?
This will never relist. This is there company now and nothing can be done about it.
Does UEN actually exist anymore?! I’ve gone on their website and it says website not found...
It's over here old bod warned us what would happen if we vote them out get your cash back on ujo imo
End of month again, New BOD didn't even bothered to update UEN's web page (still an AIM Co), any suggestions on some sort of action at all?
No, but I'm hoping the oil price holds through to the next tanker shipment. Could even be a spike if things with Iran get worse. If we can make it through to then, I'm hoping that will help stabilise the finance situation. Really though, relisting would allow a modest raise.
Have you had any updates recently?
$70+ crude for a while now, if it stays like this the debts could nearly be paid off by the time the next bloody tanker payment comes.
This is never coming back we got conned get your loses back else where zen and ujo my bets imo
that's something positive at least
The Urals Energy website is back up, there is info about the registrar in the FAQs under investor relations. It Is a UK based registrar.
What if All UK ( non-russian) shareholders group up and share the the cost (proportional to his shareholding number) for a legal kick? Surely will be better than doing nothing and it them rob us all in broad day light ....! make sense ?
That I dont know. They have the money we dont and its Russia.
NOT Good at all...Anything we little shareholders can do, maybe together via legal means?
Go on other site and see Neftenic post with a link.
on dear...Does not looking good at all. With web site down, no way of obtaining Cyprus share certificate, we shareholders has no way to claim any rights what-so-ever......Are we screwed and lost all our money ?????

chances of seeing any sort of return at the moment is looking extremely slim
Hi DrWho. I've spoken to my brokers who said they delisted in 15 March, and there was a 30 day period after that. I was going to request a paper certifcate, but the brokers said they could just sit in my nominee account. I had some in an isa, they can't stay there so the broker will just transfer them to my trading account. I can get them issued out on a paper certificate at any time, but as I currently don't have any info about how to get them registered in Cyprus (and a poster on advfn suggests this might be complicated) I'm just goung to let them sit in my account for now. If they relist, or an offer is made, this is administratively easier than getting them on a certificate, then having to get them back into an account. I'll wait and see what the company say.

Thanks Urraca: But Last Friday, I was told by the" Computershare.trade" who is said to be the registrar of Urals Energy that the Crest Facility they had was no longer available then. (another strange set up as my Broker "TheShareCentre" has no control of shares they were dealing)..Anyway Urraca, how do you know the Crest facility is still available pls? Many thanks.
I don't know a great deal about this, but I think it is quick and easy to get your shareholding registered on a paper certificate while it is still registered on Crest. It still is, but not for long, so get on to your broker to do this for you. You'll then have the certificate yourself.
I don't yet know who will hold the shareholder register for the company. I've asked, but intend to ring them this week. We can then contact the registrar to ask how to go about getting our certificated holdings written in to the register.
But first things frst, get your certificate asap.
Dear Fellow UEN shareholders: I got a rather disappointing response from my broker (TheSharecenter)on my request for share certification as follows:
" Unfortunately we are unable to do this on your behalf as creating a certificated position on the Cypriot register is not something we can facilitate and therefore we are unable to action your request to re-register your holding. Please accept my apologies for the misinformation provided.
If you have an account with another provider who has the facility to do this then we can potentially transfer your holding across to them to re-register subject to their agreement and a £25.00 fee".
I shall be most grateful for any suggestion or advise if possible. Many thanks in advance.
