Nice to see some action here, splitting the business makes sense to me. The market is huge and from our client list our product is up there with the best. This could be an explosive share if they get it right, I still think the Salesforce link up is a game changer that just isn't reflected yet.
Well after being static for weeks Ubisense price is up today. Results last year were out about now.

I'm surprised we haven't been bought. To me it appears we have a great product but don't monitize it very well. Other than the obvious buyers like GE or Siemens I'd have thought America's tech giants could do something great with UBI. Their CEO's know how to sell. Microsoft, Amazon etc etc Maybe the link up with Salesforce will lead to something.
There was a trading update 1st August last year. Given the recent news I would expect one this year too.

I know it's NATO. I was referring to our current deals with the Chinese military as referenced in my post on May 30th. Anyway I don't want to jinx this, I've been waiting for a rise for quite a while!
It NATO, not Chinese. A chance of a very positive trading statement before the end of the 6 month period that helps this climb further.
Looks good. I just hope getting involved with the Chinese military doesn't come back to bite us.
$4m in 2018, with more orders to follow thereafter. Contract with big NATO member.

Agreed YHAL. Lunch hours upon us now, I can imagine the workers are all logging in and seeing the news and will give us a northwardly boost.
Give it time, its heading much higher. You dont win these contracts without being the best and it would be no surprise to see more from factory, space systems etc all of which will pay top $.
Someone's confident!

Starting to draw more attention now, could be some news due rather than just appearing on radars, but I think something is brewing that is game changing and the market is picking up on it.

Certainly looks like the SP is on the turn at long last. Long may it continue
I think there's a lot more going on than we guess. When you have all the Daimler sites, some BMW etc don't tell me others are not in the queue. Same for the fiber and cable/utility planning and expected Salesforce software release. It could go parabolic due to the chart, news and next few sets of results with forward look. Next set may not be breakeven yet but getting closer. Infrastructure roll-out (expect a lot of that) can use myworld etc. It's in a decent place so long as they don't do anything silly.
Thanks for that. The China partner's web site, Donn Technology, has a case study of a Chinese prison using UBI technology as well as the Chinese military. Not really what I was expecting!
They have product approvals in China and think they fitted out a Mini plant there. The rep company is mentioned below. http://www.m2.com/m2/web/story.php/20096F42A0C2DF8F91AB802576550029DFC2
Did a search and they had a rep company working China. I've no idea if they had much success. Certainly little news so far. I do expect them to be bought-out, or possibly sections, at a much higher valuation than today. As it is I think some of the major holders will prevent any take-over until they have made a multiple on their investment.

SP has been on a good run recently. I'd have thought with a mcap of just 45m UBI must be on the takeover radar of a few of the big boys. The customer list speaks for how good the product is. Do you know if UBI has had any success in China?
2 tranches spread over 2 days of total about 875K shares out of the blue. Somebody wants in at about 52p.
Volume hasn't been high but can we say resistance around 50p has been broken and will become support?

UBI has placed itself as a tool in infrastructure roll-out with the new myworld capture. It's a really good move. The financials haven't been brilliant but the potential is massive, it should be sitting at a higher valuation imho. Start-ups with less potential can be valued towards this level with less track record. This should be 50m+ in my estimation and closer to 70p. They are addressing multiple market segments now and with Saleforce as a route to market it's a big change for myworld. It's all software on myworld too so should be good margins with relatively light headcount to roll it out.

Confused? You will be. Aggregate holding now close to 1/5 of UBI. Threadneedle Asset Management Limited is wholly owned by TC Financing Limited, which is itself wholly owned by Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings Limited, which is itself wholly owned by TAM UK Holdings Limited, which is itself wholly owned by Threadneedle Holdings Limited, which is itself wholly owned by Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings SARL, which is itself wholly owned by Ameriprise International Holdings GmbH, which is itself wholly owned by Ameriprise Financial, Inc.

It looks it to me as is Amerprise adding to holding. Some other group/S also mopped up about 500k shares in recent past I think but don't need to announce yet. I don't know that for certain but just keeping eye on trades and it smells like it to me. Holdings are tightening. Tax loss selling should complete soon so holders will be doing so without looking at rear view mirror.
Great news surely?

The way I read it is they are compensating well for GE Small world revenue loss with higher margin own products. I think revenue might even increase and this is valued at about 1x sales. Net cash, still investing so no headline profit but it looks massively de-risked and close to fully self-supporting. I don't get the market not noticing. When the market does wake-up to UBI it should re-rate upwards substantially imho.

Tempted to buy more at this price, far too cheap IMO. Problem is I thought the same when it was 50p and I already own quite a chunk of these.

2 large trades and not in the standard trade table. Both buys so some is accumulating about mid 40's.
Screaming buy in my book.
Company looks undervalued to me....but what do I know. Surely the market will re-rate this some day. Perhaps Kestrel's large holding is putting off other ii's from buying.

If it breaks through 50p there's likely a major change in sentiment. Someone is picking up the dribs and drabs.
