The 1,800 - 2,000m is the depth KoBold drilled to find Konkola deep from memory.
That 2,000m is also the minimum. If they are going through the geology the expect then they'll drill as deep as they need to (to hit ore shale beds).
Thanks Torino, I’m not sure where I got the 1800-2000m depth from, it does say a 2 holes for a total depth of at least 2000m in the original RNS! After those 2 holes are completed the parties will then form a JV company to hold the license prior to further exploration.
This from KoBold:
“KoBold looks forward to working with Tertiary and Mwashia on the Konkola West project. The Zambian Copperbelt has historically seen little exploration at depth, and the Konkola West licence is a great prospect to see if ore systems like those at Konkola or Mingomba also occur at depth within this licence. We will be able to use the equipment, experienced team, and data-science tools that we’ve assembled while drilling the nearby Mingomba deposit to improve our chance of success at Konkola West. We look forward to starting drilling as soon as practical.”
Mfikeyi Makayi, Chief Executive Officer, KoBold Metals Zambia
Had it from the company they are doing holes (for a total of at least 2,000m of drilling)
I got in a little early as well. 10 years ago at 10p + so I'm sceptical of any success here. And the blatant ramping doesn't fill me full of confidence. It actually makes me less likely to invest more.

undervalued and Copper very close to MIngomba. Drill bit chewing and could be a real game changer for TYM
Kobold are planning to drill to 1800-2000m so presumably thats the kind of depth they are expecting to see any mineralisation. I wouldn’t be too concerned about the depth, if it’s contiguous with the Mingomba deposit (which is also deep) then it could be developed as part of that mine.
I'm in and I got in too early and paid more than the current price, although I have reservations, especially about the word 'down dip', however the website states that gravity and airborne data suggests the formation is shallower in the north/northwest of the licence area, and so it would be good to know exactly where they're drilling.
But at this point the potential isn't covered by the share price, as if Storuman comes in then the shares will rerate. Incidentally I asked PC if tym could take action in the courts should the licence be rejected but he said no (although I don't think that it will be, and I think that he's wrong about not being able to take the matter to a bit court).
Tradercafe sets 0.17 target nice to see this today
With the drilling started this can really fly and hit mid 0.20's in a very short period.....exciting time to be in
Jeepers! We are on site and in the ground with r anticipation of results to come. Kobolt are no Mickey Mouse operation having them on board is huge and don’t forget we are next door to one of the worlds best sites in terms of grades. Please tell me why you feel a 2m mcap is fitting? Look at peers 10x and 20x value who haven’t even scraped the surface let alone drill.
I'm sorry Brighty1, this nonchalant "don't shoot the messenger" is complete garbage. This is why these boards become useless as you get ridiculous price ramping through the most braindead "technical analysis". And now you have Gordon aka Earl aka BenNaucer trying to get the link to use it to ramp. If you post a link, vet it beforehand and own it.
Do you have a link? 6.8p!! That’s a wild move
Don't worry Jedster, it's very unlikely. Don't shoot the messenger though about that 6.8p a share prediction by that chartist. I'm just sharing what's out there. What I would say is that we are in for a serious mega gain if the KoBold drill is a success....
Good luck, Brighty
Brighty you must not believe this kind if prediction. Its like me saying one day tym will hit £1.
Yeah lets take stock a bit shall we ffs, been here long enough to have seen all this before, then lo and behold......nothing, but more dilution. Undervalued we may well be and this copper play may actually turn out to be the catalyst for once, but these predictive prices and future market caps are just ridiculous. Regards of the technology kobold are using to identify these drill points, let's actually unearth something first for once.
Then crow all you like.. will all go very quiet again otherwise is it becomes yet another tym dud.
Jesus Christ. That's genuinely the most horrific technical analysis I've ever witnessed.
Check out the link below as this chartist - with 31,000 subscribers - is predicting a mega gain for TYM's share price. He is predicting a share price for TYM of 6.8p, rising from TYM's recent lower range / support base up to 0.64p initially and then climbing over time as follows to:
* 0.93p
* 1.84p
* 2.75p
* 4.18
and as high as 6.8p

In summary, this analyst with 31,000+ followers is saying that TYM could very well be the most under valued share on AIM. Well worth watching this video.....
Good luck, Brighty
Exactly right. This could x 10+ here over the next few months based on a positive update regarding the KoBold JV drilling programme in Zambia. That excludes positive news from other JV's and also Sweden. Before the Storuman project was put on ice in Sweden the TYM share price was over 2p a share. Tym has 2.3 million tonnes of mineable fluorspar. That's not factored in at all here....
Good luck, Brighty

Zak Mir toutin 1.7 target short term! Hardly a big ask at this valuation. Gla
Not a lot of movers out there today, can TYM be the hot favourite?
2m mcap, and a drill in the ground from kobold a bil dollar company. Can’t be the only one sparking up a cigar pre results
