I do not think there is a div on Sportech. However, you know there is here and I think on 888. GVC is very good having a yield of 8% and the SP is Increasing over time. I am taking a look at Paddy Power too.
Hi Bruce, I was looking at SPO & BPTY as possible alternative take over targets.... but could not find a dividend for SPO...am I missing something? Best regards, Blue Nb: BPTY goes Final Ex-Divi' for 1.89p ( 2.36% ) on 23rd of April...Annualized = 4.72% ( If they pay 1.89p for the Interim again )
Shares in online gambling company 32Red (TTR) have bounced back this year as the market has got to grips with a new UK gambling tax regime that is expected to hit the industry's profits. The company adopted a novel strategy in the run-up to the introduction of the so-called point of consumption tax. While many gaming companies splurged on marketing to try to build scale ahead of the changes, 32Red kept its powder dry. Indeed, it's only now that the company plans to boost investment in trying to recruit new players. The company's tactics have started to look smart as it grew strongly last year despite its relatively low spending - cash profit rose by a fifth - and trading has started strongly this year, too. The new tax is expected to hit current-year profit, but with the underlying progress continuing to impress and the balance sheet looking healthy, earnings growth should kick back in in 2016, by which time 32Red's numbers will be being compared with a comparative regulatory backdrop. Indeed, growth should actually benefit from the withdrawal from the UK market of competitors who have not signed up to the new licence-based tax regime.
888 holdings ! who knows!
But you still checked my history to be sure...... PS. This is now 6 remarks
This person has only ever posted 5 remarks on 3 shares all disparaging not believing divs or bonuses. Classic de-ramping with little knowledge of the subject. Easily discountable.
Hi Bruce,"what's not to like?" Indeed. Shares Mag has an excellent article on 32R. This wks edition. JL.
T/o in this share today just £75k worth not enough for a Ferrari! And the commission peanuts. However 3 brokers follow it. It may be small but busy nonetheless. their adverts keep popping up when I am looking for something else. A well run relatively small company in a good sector and take over prospect. What's not to like?
(Hopefully mine)
If any of you honestly believe that individual buyers and sellers are in any way responsible, individually or collectively, for any significant share price movement of a 60p mini cap stock, then you need to go spend 30 years in the City and realise there's a single Essex wide boy trading this stock up and down and taking you all for a ride. Give Bobby Benton a shot at Lingfield 15:00 and stay far and away from the Buy button - you're just fuelling a City boy's Ferrari for the weekend
I assume you have no knowledge of the markets or how they work! Why would profit takers come in immediately the shares have gone xd which usually lowers shares price. No sense
Go away you DERAMPER. This share is fine. GO AWAY.
Be prepared this could drop 10 p or more as lots take profit and ignore divi. Shares worth 80-90p but they must fall first. Some have profit from 30 p entry so it could drop heavy as masses take profits.

You are right 158...anyone who wants to research this company will see that in the second half of last year their EBITDA margins were up around 40%..compared with first half. This gets hidden in the year end numbers, but do your research and you will see 90p..is very possible...and so is a substantial increase in interim dividend..For now this is good value in my opinion..
I am also surprised by the share price movement. Buy order went through yesterday at 3pm for 64.9p and the share price has hardly moved today. Absolute bonus to also get the 1.4p dividend - 2.16% profit for nothing. Plenty of growth left in this share as well.
Bizarre though why so many sellers yesterday...it used to be pre 0ct 2014 that Friday on the register, meant Wednesday ex-div, but that was changed by EU late last year...and now Thursday is ex div for Friday Regsiter..Surely those sellers yesterday, didn't make that mistake?
Why would a dividend chaser buy the share after it has gone ex div? Makes no sense at all. In my case very happy. Bought cum div and sp hardly moved ex div. Now I really was a div chaser but with Great Expectations! What the Dickens made me say that!
http://www.sharesmagazine.co.uk/articles/32red-set-for-uk-expansion#.VRPBXnmzWM8. Interesting article quoting buy with a new target price of 90p.
This is more likely to increase tomorrow as divi chasers come in. Some will sell but most would have done so by now (hence slight drop) usually they HOLD till the middle of next week (from experience being in this share for years) SP target is 80p 90p so I actually think most will stay in (like myself) and wait till we rise to 90p or £1.
Wondering if investors are thinking t+3, instead of t+2...looks like ex div volume.
I dont want to rain on anyones parade but you would expect the sp to fall tomorrow, as investors selling today are forgoing the dividend, if ex div is tomorrow. Ie if they keep it until tomorrow, they can sell AND keep the dividend
Thansk for remding about the Ex Div lol. I was wondering why the SP was falling lol.
Just bought quite a few (by my standards) of these and also 888. I already have GVC and Sportech. Thee two are both cum div. 32Red goes ex div tomorrow. GLA
