Hi Mrb. That Man98 is funny. I know he is a noob but half of his 38 posts are asking when is there news? I answered him like you did in his own thread and he asked again which implies he doesn;t read the answer. Man98 there is a financial diary for each share page on LSE you can check that for news due incidentally. Not always complete granted but a good starting point. As well as reading replies to your own questions :)
Results on Monday
Is there news Friday ?
which I am hoping is eclipsed when we get results. Actually I expect a big rise Friday in anticipation at any rate.
Results Monday 22nd Feb funnily enough. Am in for more tomorrow on this ridiculous drop. We know the results will be good and might even better upgraded expectations. Keep buying.
Substantial drops might mean there is a worked deal in the background - perhaps a buy order to fill (and flushing out investors locking in an gains) or a sell order that needs to be at an attractive price to encourage buyers.
Since there is neither regulatory news nor obvious reason other than perhaps sector or market sentiment I am as bewildered as you.
On no news?
Does anyone know when any news is due here ?
Still rising! On a tear at the moment
Yeah thanks Mr B. I might buy more if they keep up the good work. Was a bit bored and thought how can I spend 350 k without going out. Hope to see a decent return.
Decent buy Wednesday

up neatly 6%. India news overdue and USA as they step pressure with extra staff. Looks promising at at any rate.
Me too Andy though I have sold a few times. Even before the last results as a hedge. Though it might look like an elephant currently, elephants don;t gallop but this will go faster on news from India and the US. News from India is imminent and the US might come by June with some luck
It's never wrong to take a profit but I always find it much hader to sell than buy , but when any share starts to look look like an elephant in your portfolio it's time to trim it back . I really must remember to take my own advice sometimes !
of 600p arrived and doesn't look like stopping just yet. And all without the boost India will hopefully give the SP. Wiping the floor with my other shares. Where to top slice though?
Good post Alas. Tristel is 20% of my P.F though I have sold twice and bought back twice. It pays to run your winners. is Fevertree not suffering because of Pub Closure? I think Wine is the go to drink now thought not invested in any myself.
Very happy with Tristel having picked these up at 40 and 43o and always reinvest my Divis. India should give us a boost as well as the USA so plenty of fat to be extracted here .
Thus far my decision to bung some money into this and the others mentioned has been to advantage. Boku up12.5%, Fevertree is down 3.77%, Varta up 30% and Tristel up 12.5%. The star, though is AFC which is up over 100%.
With a Biden administration shortly to take over the rein of power and a thoroughly rotten and twice impeached outgoing incumbant, I feel that for investors things are looking much brighter for the next 18 months. Looking back at history, more often than not a Republican President leaves office at the point of a recession. Most recent recessions are inherited by a Democrat incomer, last around 6 months but have very strong growth for 3 years and more typical growth for the next 6.
But, provided that my portfolio beats the market, I am content. The final figure for portfolio growth last year for me was 14.4%.
Ionically the approval of DUO products must be being held up due to Covid as it was due before Xmas. Still the SP is bowling along nicely even without an announcement on India. Starting to motor towards 600p which is some going despite it being on a high PE. Will we see approval in the US due to the new administration and the expanded TSTL team soon. Would certainly be a boost to the SP!
back in as I am doing probably explains the ask flying up since Friday. All time high here and with Covid around for a while plus India confirmation shortly there is more to come here.
Increase in profit by 10%, being no less than £3.3 million.
Continued to win many new customers around the world.
Sales of our new Cache product range will be approximately double their level of the first half last year.
In North America very encouraging progress has been made in our FDA test programme.
In India we expect to conclude distribution arrangements for our entire Duo product range before Christmas.
FWIW, 10 days ago, I disposed of some of my turgid holdings either in part or in full to make adjustment to my portfolio. These included Adyen, Roche, Nestle, Diageo and Halma. Although 2020 got off to a cracking start, between 23 Feb and 23 March, my portfolio (in common with most) plummetted. However, things have recovered and I am up almost 12% on the year.
I have increased my appetite to risk from Medium High to High and bought new holdings of shares in Tristel, Boku, AFC Energy and Fevertree with a doubling of my holding in Varta. I have, since those transactions added to my holdings in AFC and Tristel. Time will determine the wisdom of this, of course.
My portfolio is structured for capital growth and the reason for increase in risk is to take advantage of a number of factors - stable political governance in USA from 20 Jan 2021, a wall of money that will be added to markets around the world by State Banks propping up economies, a series of vaccines that have been approved for Covid 19, world committment towards green issues and interest in the health sector.
Very unusual in this share. Divi coming on 18th. Maybe the rise is partly to do with the expectation that brokers that allow divi reinvestment will stoke demand. I certainly will be reinvesting mine.
