Dr_Kaboom we have seen a bit of an uplift in share trading in the last month or so. Always good to see some interest in TST as I do feel it's undervalued by some way. Whether someone is building a position, quite possibly, we will find out soon enough if they breach notification level assuming they playing by rules! I can see why there may be interest, as it is likely to generate good profits in the coming years, Most of the hard work and cost of refocussing the business has been done! At current level very cheap and hopefully a divi payment next year, so couldG provide a good return both income and capital growth over medium term so could be attractive to II's .
Yes, Davde. Any profit and cash in the bank should be deemed an exvellent result for 2020. I think they will achieve that.
Trading action seems to suggest someone is accumulating through small 5k buys. This has been ongoing for weeks. Very well managed.
Dr_Kaboom not sure I share your optimism as they forecast a weaker second half, due to sales lead lag time. On the positive side they maintained their order book in H1, a significant proportion of customers in essential category and they have an increasing recurring revenue model which protects revenue to some extent. Breakeven full year would be good result for me but you never know they may pull something out of the hat. Think it will be 2021 before we really start reaping the rewards of the changes made in last few years.
Davde, trading update early next year and chances are it will be very good.
We got a trading update last year at this time, will we get one next week?
Dr_Kaboom a takeover possible but who knows! TST a definite bargain at current MC, but possible illiquid share so maybe not cheap for long! Nice to see movement in SP, long may it continue.

"Carn Coldstores Selects TouchStar’s TS8200 Handheld For New State-Of-The-Art Cold Storage Facility

Following a £9million investment in a brand new cold storage facility in Portadown, Northern Ireland, Carn Coldstores, a leading provider of temperature-controlled services has selected TouchStar’s TS8200 handheld mobile computer to support real time data capture within their order picking processes.
Part of Derry Refrigerated Transport, one of Ireland’s leading refrigerated distributors, Carn Coldstore’s state of the art chilled and frozen warehousing services include storage, order picking and product invoicing services...
..One of the key components that supports Carn’s service offering is data capture. Data capture provides a key role in supporting accurate and efficient order picking within their operations. With the development of their new site in Portadown near completion, Carn turned to UK based rugged mobile and scanning specialist’s TouchStar Technologies to review their requirements, selecting their in-house manufactured TS8200 handheld computer as the best fit hardware for their data capture requirements.
Mark Livingstone, IT Manager, at Carn Coldstore’s comments, “One of the key factors for us at Carn Coldstore’s was to select a unit that not only provided advanced scanning capability but was also reliable. TouchStar not only impressed us in terms of their rugged hardware, but also their technical knowledge, reassuring us that we were investing in a well-supported and future proof solution.”
Rugged by design, the TouchStar’s Android TS8200 integrates a metal alloy chassis, high impact polycarbonate plastics and highly durable, hard-capped keys making it the perfect choice for the demanding cold storage environment that Carn operate within. A relatively low volume of share trades has dropped price disproportionately in my view. We were at 60p a month ago, before good news in update, it's bewildering. This conpany is so undervalued!
It is definitely the outlook that has caused the drop. I think the long lead times between sales leads and firm orders is normal and understandable in this industry. Looks like the future beyond year end is bright and the shares are looking very cheap for a company with no obvious funding worries.
Interims not to bad small profit and order book stable. Cautious outlook but accept that. Pity SP not reacted well.
Hopefully the half year update will not be delayed for too long and we get one in the next 3 weeks. With a bit of luck breakeven or better and a profit forecast for year end. Will depend on how order book has held up we will see.
Nice move up now. Good to see the spread down to only 3p - and the bid price is now at its highest of the day at 57p.
You can only buy a maximum 1k shares online, but you can sell 15,000 at a large premium at 55.75p.
Good news re Podstar:

"Another PODStar Project Win: Evergreen Exterior Services
13 August 2020
Evergreen Exterior Services Ltd transform their delivery operation with ‘PODStar’ Proof of Delivery system from Touchstar Technologies
According to ‘Horticulture Weekly’ Evergreen is now one of the top 10 Independent Plant Nurseries in the UK.
In 1988, Evergreen began its journey operating from just a small unit at New Covent Garden Flower Market and a corner shop in London. The strategic aim was to retain its position at the prestigious New Covent Garden, which necessitated a rapid move to a larger unit. In parallel, Evergreen management were also progressively expanding Evergreen’s horizons as a company.
The company started sourcing commercially grown plants from annuals to mature specimen trees from the UK and across Europe. This new direction was so successful that they subsequently opened their current headquarters at Banstead, where they have grown to become a leading wholesale nursery.
The Business Objectives
The business has grown over the years; however, Evergreen continues to be an independent, owner-operated business and because they are not owned by anyone else, they have greater flexibility and are better placed to serve their customers' individual needs.
Evergreens’ extensive fleet of vehicles distribute client orders daily to their preferred nationwide locations and optimal customer service is a continuing management priority. As Evergreen Director, Craig Marshall, remarks: “We pride ourselves on our truly unique logistics and delivery procedures. Speed and precision are given to all our orders. The strategic aim is always to enhance our working practices and fine tune efficiency throughout the distribution process, from plant management to logistics, resulting in a superior customer experience.” ”
To meet their strategic objectives, Evergreen continue to invest in the latest technological innovations and industry solutions and sought a system that would optimise its delivery operations. After an exhaustive examination of available systems, the management team selected the ‘PODStar’ Electronic Proof of Delivery system from Manchester-based Touchstar Technologies.
The Cloud-based PODStar system offers a planning tool that automates existing manual processes. Via an API link to their current ERP system, Evergreen can utilise up-to-date information to create job runs and to allocate drivers and vehicles. Once a manifest has been created it is then automatically sent out to the drivers. Once downloaded the driver can receive their jobs and, ultimately, provide electronic proof of delivery in real time. The delivery drivers are equipped with smart phones with the handheld device used for both proof of delivery / signature capture and tracking of the driver location.

TST were tipped as follows on Friday, presumably in the late afternoon, which would account for the buying - hopefully further buying to come.
Anyone got access?

"Touchstar – shares further recover on AGM update, more to come...
By HotStockRockets | Friday 3 July 2020
Touchstar (TST) has updated including “positive trading has flowed into greatly improved cashflow” – and the shares have currently responded nearly 20% higher to 55p..."
Very pleased with SP movement, at last movement. Less pleased with spread seems large to me presumably down to liquidity, still think TST should announce dividend policy for when they are able to pay one. Its a way of enticing more interest in this undervalued share.
