I dip in time to time but tried to clarify the misconceptions flying around.
that I have ever seen so many new posters on this board. Usually, the activity comes about when a SAYE plan comes to maturity so it makes a change to see so many investors on board. I'm sure there will be similar activity on Monday and thereafter silence.

https://www.tescoplc.com/investors/Scroll down to View Letter to shareholders. This will explain in simple terms why the price is planned to open around the same price around 241/2. Certainly not 188p.
How if the price went down?
Today £11m worth of shares were sold against £55m worth of shares were acquired. The ratio in favour of buyers is almost 5 to 1. The buyers must have seen it is worthwhile buying TSCO shares at the eleventh, instead of selling. I failed to grasp what are the benefits.

I think you are wasting your time in trying to educate those who do not understand and will not listen.
I'm amazed that there are people owning shares who somehow believe the SD is a free gift!!
Be interesting to the share price action next week.
Please Boys! NO recriminations on Monday morning. We are all in the same boat, whether we have sold out today or kept our shares. My guess is that both camps will be approx just as well off whatever we do except for a slight benefit for those who go the full nine yards for the final dividend qualification date of May.)
You do not need nreves of steel for this one lol
My Nan said she’s going to do a big shop! I’m hoping she goes to Tesco’s

what is going to happen over the weekend to justify about a 17% increase in market cap from
post consolidation.
Ok I believe share prices will be £2.80 Monday morning.
Yes I understand this that’s why I said share price will be £41.80p
y11
Don't think so. You will have less shares.
Does no one pay attention to their own investments.
I hope so that means I’ve made 20 percent in 4 days.
y11
excluding normal market movements, Tesco will be at about the current share price on Monday
Ax
''company on your words at £13.7billion ''
I didn't mention a market cap

I refer you to my posts at 13:42 and 14:13
Axe what price do you feel Tesco shares will open Monday morning?
No need to refer - You are stating that people are buying at the equivalent of £1.88 on share consolidation - that values
company on your words at £13.7billion (£10Billion less than today) - You do the Math buddy.
1.88 x 7.3 Billion Shares = £13.7Billion Market Cap. (Joke Maths)
£1.88p is exactly what you mean at todays prices downgraded backwards for Monday Opening (laughable).
Market Cap will not fall below £17 Billion even on opening and a sell off! and that gives a current share price at low end of around £17billion.
See ya Monday (Going love listening to your tumble weed moments)
I think share price will open £41.80p Monday morning.
Ax
''we can buy at £1.88p Monday Morning. ''
NO CHANCE of that
Ax
I think it is your who is in need of glasses
''your fantasy of £1.88p as no-one is buying at these prices they are buying at £2.40p ''
I refer you to my posts at 13:42 and 14:13
Nice but Dim Long Time Investors prediction is we can buy at £1.88p Monday Morning. This will value the company at £10billion less than it is now. Lol. Funniest Thing heard all day. In fact all year so far.
See you Monday you Guru you!
Stop quoting something that does exist then you mo**rel lol. Just quote the current share prices as that is what is in play not your fantasy of £1.88p as no-one is buying at these prices they are buying at £2.40p - Specsavers for you buddy.
Yeah share price held up nicely. I can see this dropping below 190 or what ever the equivalent will be Monday morning but time will tell.
