Ive stalled the monthly payments on the marble bathroom with solid gold taps, and going in with a mega buy at 15.30 tommorrow Friday.. Hoping for £2.25, the price I originally mortgaged my life for lol
Anyone thinking of buying Tesco after that time is ill advised to do so.
Mrs ECR will not wait until early March for the I phone 11. So it looks like my days are numbered. Which is just as well if it helps me get rid of the headache Tesco's enormous and inconsiderate "**** up" has caused.
well I dont know....... Todays sharp drop from what we hoped would be a level £2.42 looks to be down to Tesco SP following similar drop in FT100. In other words other market forces are at play......
For those playing the "lowest SP price reinvestment" tactic, then try buying around last hour tommorrow, Friday, when all the big boys are off early to their weekends of hedonistic living. Friday's late pm is always a great possible time to buy.
Tesco's managements "magical formula " for future success is sending me so so dizzy. The last time I felt this unwell was as a kid on a fairground waltzer that went out of control. Do you think they are playing mind games just to liven up a dull part of the calender year? lol
Bodge. Fully agree with you. As divi qualification date is in 8 days time 25 Feb Unilever will experience a slight rise I guess- and at a near 4% divi . Nice! I've borrowed the Tesco 26 Feb divi from my spare cash until I can repay it a day or two later. Lol
I'm taking the SD proceeds on 26 Feb and looking at the wide open market for another "low Covid share price" rather than be forced into buying back my Tesco holding shortfall. Unilever looks a very safe bet! Let Tesco compete with the other titan market capitalisers .....
Btw those that have sold out pre consolidation have lost out on the "no drop in share price" gain and subsequent promising final divi in Early July.
calm: The drop is not always as much as the divi. And sometimes the immediate drop can be more.
But the point with UNI. Is it you buy now whilst low, any drop in share is from a lower share price which more than likely will be made up much faster in time given Unis considerable promise in rise due to that low valuation.
