As much as I'd like a uranium royalty, I would be concerned if Adam and team were transacting at the top of the market. Equity capital is easy to come by right now for most uranium companies with a decent enough project - so terms are unlikely to be in TRR's favour. I'm sure Adam and team would be keen to make sure any project they identify is likely going to get into production this cycle - which makes it more challenging. As you know MS, one of the worst things for a royalty co to do is just pick up expensive optionality for the sake of it.
Personally, I'd like to see more copper (I don't think you can have enough of it). Nickel and zinc interest me too.
(AIM Listed Company. Golden Metal Resources plc). Significant Porphyry & Epithermal Potential Confirmed; Bonanza Silver Grade Returned;...Gold. . Also Uranium Target all found on their Nevada USA Asset.
Just my own thoughts. Why not get Royalties over a Uranium project. I am thinking of the likes of Aura Energy near-term production Tiris Uranium Project in Mauritania which also has significant opportunities for both resource and production profile expansion.
Would be good if US volume picked up

A major catalyst over the next six months is the Sonora legal case pending Mexico nationalization where Trident owns a 50% share in 3% royalty over this lithium asset?. Not yet. Its an option to own. A refundable deposit of US$2.5 million (the “Deposit”) has been paid by the Buyer (TRR), with the balance to be paid upon completion of the Transaction, which is conditional upon a favorable resolution of a dispute between the seller of the royalty and Bacanora. If the dispute is found against the Estate, Trident’s funding is fully repayable by Sonoroy. Trident has protected its self on this deal with only paying a refundable $2,5 million deposit for the option to buy the Royalty or not and has up till 2025 to decide. Think I got that wright. TRR has great Management.Great Assets, many of which are bringing in good cash to the company. Great PR. keeping investors and potential investors informed with regular interviews and videos on line.
2024 Top picks in mining, include Capital Limited (LSE:CAPD), TRIDENT ROYALTIES PLC (AIM:TRR, OTCQX:TDTRF), Atalaya Mining (AIM:ATYM, TSX:AYM) and Adriatic Metals PLC (LSE:ADT1, ASX:ADT, OTCQX:ADMLF). Do your own research.
They should be able to start production now by trucking the stockpiles to the existing mill so if first production is Q1 2024 then we should see the $8.75m milestone payment in Q1 2025 plus some ordinary royalty payments along the way. Nice start to the year.
Update on La Preciosa Silver Royalty
Trident Royalties Plc (AIM: TRR, OTC: TDTRF), the diversified mining royalty company, is pleased to note recent positive progress announced by Avino Silver and Gold Mines Ltd. ("Avino", TSX: ASM, NYSE AMERICAN: ASM) on its La Preciosa Silver Project ("La Preciosa"). On 15 May 2023, Trident announced the acquisition of royalty assets 1 comprising:
· 1.25% net smelter return royalty covering the Gloria and Abundancia veins at La Preciosa;
· 2.00% gross value return royalty covering all other areas of La Preciosa;
· US$8.75 million milestone payment, payable to Trident within 12 months of first silver production at La Preciosa.
LA PRECIOSA SILVER PROJECT
Avino recently reported that it has signed a long-term land-use agreement with a local community for the development of La Preciosa. La Preciosa hosts one of the largest undeveloped primary silver resources in Mexico and is located approximately 19 kilometres from the current Avino Mine operations, which has an operating 2,500 tonnes per day mill processing facility and all the necessary infrastructure to allow for mineral processing from La Preciosa.2
David Wolfin, Chief Executive Officer of Avino commented for the purpose of its announcement2:
"With this long-term land-use agreement in place, we can commence hauling of old surface stockpiles to our mill for processing. We are now able to begin the filing of our environmental permit for underground extraction. Pending regulatory approval, we can start developing the ramp down to our initial target of the high-grade Gloria vein. The La Preciosa mine represents a key pillar in our transformational growth strategy, as well as hosting a large endowment of silver and gold resources which we expect to process for years to come. We are delighted to work with our local community stakeholders to come to this amicable and cooperative result." 2
Adam Davidson, Chief Executive Officer of Trident commented:
"2024 is off to a great start at Trident with Avino's progress at La Preciosa. With the land-use agreement in place, Avino is moving to first production from its stockpiles while it obtains the requisite permits to commence underground production. We want to congratulate Avino on this milestone and look forward to continued growth at the broader Avino operation, with La Preciosa playing a key role moving forward."
That's clarified the situation,
Another legal action taken outside the framework of the Mining Law reform is the amparo promoted by the China-based Ganfeng Lithium, the world's largest lithium producer. In August 2023, the Ministry of Economy (SE) announced the cancellation of nine lithium concessions for Ganfeng Lithium, arguing that the company did not meet the minimum investment requirements necessary to maintain the concessions. In response to the cancellation, the company filed an amparo.

A positive development update today, I don't see how this will not apply to the concessions -
Dear Clients and Friends,
About our publication dated November 6, 2023, titled “First Favorable Ruling in Amparo Proceedings Against Recent Reforms to the Mining Law and Other Related Provisions” we are pleased to inform you that as of today, we have obtained a total of 7 favorable rulings for our clients.
These rulings order the exclusion of the reform from the legal sphere of our clients who have obtained the amparo and protection of the federal courts; therefore, such reforms may not be applied to our clients.
These favorable rulings have been obtained from four states: Chihuahua, Hidalgo, Jalisco, and Sonora. We are currently awaiting the remaining resolutions, which we believe will be issued pursuant to our clients’ interests.
Should you have any questions or comments regarding the foregoing, please do not hesitate to call your usual contact in the Firm.

And bear in mind the cancellation was said to be for the lack of investment that is being denied by Ganfeng, so a possibility that's all that may be needed to challenge in international arbitration - will the Mexican government chance that if the ruling is applied, of course Ganfeng might be one of the 7!

TRR are severely undervalued in relation to peers at 0.4 NAV.
Before 2026 (my expectation of first dividend date) they will have around $45m income and $19m in the bank to expand their assets. Plus any borrowing they may take up
They will be even more valuable .
Don't get me wrong, nothing personal but I hope it will never come and that the only way is north.
The rise is more likely attributable to bring a pick of 5 aim stocks for 2024 on II. Bit gutted as I want to buy in but will wait for a retrace if it ever comes.
