We can breathe again! Let's see if the SP retraces to high teens...
Good to see they have named Sainsbury's, as the partner as well.
And there is it ...the moment we've all been waiting for.
The return to glory!
OK, so I nicked that from the commentary leading up to Tiger Woods' final putt, in his phenomenal 2019 Masters victory ...but this RNS felt to me of equal import.
As you were...
JW states - 'It is an important part of our current and future years' Fleet revenues.'
Yet ..there is always tomorrow...
LMAO, at least the sale didn't crash the price
Even if only 300 shares.
Wouldn't be a Trakm8 news day without sell logged.
Good point re 5G coverage.
The UK's infrastructure for this type of thing is awful - massively lagging behind competitors.
The only reason the Gov gets away with it is the idiots that keep voting them back in, only holiday in Benidorm and thus never get to notice how bad things really are here and how much more we should be getting for our tax dollars (highest rates since the war).
*Interestingly, I googled Howden Driving Data and their MD is TRAKS ex-sales director.*
Actually, when you look at Linkedin, both of the 'key' people listed on the website, are ex-Trakm8 stock.
And looks like it was formally part of ingenie? or is ingenie?
Difficult to tell from the site, but there is definitely a connection here.

Interesting to know whether Trakm8 still have the ingenie contract - pretty sure it's got a couple more years to run.
Great find.....
Is there enough coverage for 5G? I would not be doing R&D into it - although I am unsure about the 4G sunset (3G has been delayed until the end of this year I think)
Wonder if they have a 5G camera in development. This 4G offering seems a little dated to me.

*The announcement – though of uncertain import - is reassuring because it means they aren’t about to issue a PW (unless they get a kick out of playing mind games…).*
My thoughts too. It would be good if they simply updated the market around the uncertainty of the contract renewals though.
*Interestingly, I googled Howden Driving Data and their MD is TRAKS ex-sales director.*
Small world - thanks for sharing.

Great find, a former sales director endorsing the Trakm8 brand.
Only time will tell.
Interestingly, I googled Howden Driving Data and their MD is TRAKS ex-sales director.
Any chance he's still a share holder ?
*What else would you call a contract with no commitment or monitory value ?*
Fresh (or perhaps stale) air?
But I don't see the link with your desperation comment.
They must know the announcement will do nothing to reassure the market; only numbers can do that. But in the absence of a PW, the assumption must be that they're going to hit their guidance.
What else would you call a contract with no commitment or monitory value ?
*Sheer desperation*
Not quite sure I would put it in those stark terms, Davy boy...
'The global telematics and data insight provider is pleased to announce that the company has been awarded a new contract with Howden Driving Data' with no guaranteed and / or minimum value ?
Sheer desperation
Indeed.
It's not a regulatory announcement, so it's not material to the company's performance. That in itself is slightly odd, given that they haven't tended to announce these small 'un-valued' contracts recently.
It doesn't really tell us much more than, 'we have agreed to do some business with 'X'. Still, as you say, it's something - something more which suggests the company is still pressing on.
The Microlise point is a strong one; it's about all that's left for me.
As has been said many times, it's very binary - all or nothing, here.
The funny thing is, every time , I think cut losses and move on, there's a hint of jam...
GLA/DYOR
At least this is something....but has no minimal value
"Trakm8 Holdings plc (AIM: TRAK), the global telematics and data insight provider is pleased to announce that the Company has been awarded a new contract with Howden Driving Data ("Howden").
Under the terms of this contract Trakm8 will provide devices and data to Howden. The contract is for a term of three years and has no guaranteed and/or minimum value. "

I think my concern is why mention that the renewals are important to the forecast and then not update the market. I do think we are going to be ok - after all, why would Microlise invest another million.
