A number of the trades listed as sells could be buys this morning, giving a false picture to the trading situation.
My buy came in as a sell and several around were listed as sells at a higher price than my trade...
LOL - all the contracts over the next year? Nothing announced that suggest a decent increase in turnover compared with last year. Nothing that suggests that they'll be able to pay off the loan at the end of the year without a substantial dilution. We'll find out in a few weeks, if the current auditors are willing to sign off the accounts. I'm sure they'll find someone less fussy eventually if they won't.
I see the buying pressure increasing over the next few sessions.
Could see 0.1p easy next week.
Has been good buying volume last two sessions.
I just think the stock looks cheap with trading update due any time soon.
Could be. But look at all the new contracts over the last year.
Its all in the RNS's
I've been scrambling to read before this going ballistic.
Just posted a chart on Twitter. 0.089 is the next resistance target. Quick 100% for these levels will do nicely :)
Gone NT
Big contract coming rumour
Big volume this morning, I averaged down to 0.039 earlier this week so it's good to see.
Should see 0.1p easy over the next few sessions.
Nice overview below.
Potential leaky ship?
Hi SL100,
Toop was a stock I researched middle of last year, but chose to hold off as I wanted to see further progress.
I have chosen to invest now as there has been some significant progress-
- Investors such as Mike Staten plus Monecor (means less to me) and Oberon have taken significant and increased shareholdings of late
- Directors have taken positions in the recent raise in December
- The company has solid cash position as of today
- Company is due to announce yearly results to end Sept and announced in the trading update that September was a strong month and business is robust
- 5 major contract wins in Sept alone - the company does not announce small wins
- Costs have been lowered and continue to be managed
- I am expecting revenue around £3.5m plus
- Finally, I like the work from home situation as I feel this will drive many companies to upgrade there services and this bodes well for Toople. I would almost argue that they do not need to sell hard and some contracts will be coming to them.
I think the next three years look positive.
Busy buying!
Steven49, we have little option but to wait, but in the meantime all sells again this morning.
Surely a statement should be forthcoming from head office abut this very negative rading in Toop stock.
Only positive thing I can see here is that BT has sert up and financed the new contact offices, would not be surprised if BT took the whole lot over for next to nothing...Not at all what I was looking for from Toop!
resignation of PKF Littlejohn LLP who has confirmed to the Company that there are no circumstances connected with its resignation, Delay in results, I'm not so sure, let's wait 4 results.
Pushing the results back to the end of Feb is not helping the sp, nearly every trade is a sell, I'm surprised that the sp is holding at current level...Toop need a huge boost to move it from here, where it will come from I have no idea :-/
It has to be quiet with the results being delayed..
Not good and Andy ought to know that!
Dead as a doodo
Without any doubt
The problem is, Toop will never grow, while they continue to try and re sell BT.
This move is a negative but with positive spin, they don't own any of the 200,000 or 250,000 customer.
All the comparables of Gamma, Kcom, Daisy from the past, all irrelevant now, they are purely a reseller of BT. Theres no growth, no long term recurring revenue, just one off commissions. Its directly against everything Andy has preached for years. He spouted BT were bad, customers needed something else. Now look...
Opening a 2nd contact centre, supported by BT, in the UK at face value seems a good move.
IMO: there is a pent up demand for SME managed BT communication services.
Now sign up some businesses !
Verulamium, I sometimes wonder if people bother to read the RNS stuff or if they just assume they are all huge.
Im also puzzled by all the positivity around these suggested 3.5m turn over targets, but when you take DMSL and Toople and add them together they should be at £5 to 6m.
"The company does not announce small wins". On the contrary, history shows that it does exactly that. Every year it builds expectations of growth based on similar announcements, and every year those hopes are dashed when the actual numbers come out. Revenue of £3.5M plus should certainly be on the cards (still £1M or so less than the combined TOOP and DMSL turnover at the time of the takeover) - but they need £6M or so to break even. Then there's that loan hanging over them...
Hi roleybirkin- many thanks for taking the time to post - some very interesting comments and observations. I too have taken a reasonable position - in last few months. Results should give a good indication. All the best.

Hi RoleyBirkin- care to elaborate on why you are positive here? Would be interested to hear your comments. Thanks
Will it be big one?
