I'm fairly new to trading/investing, especially within the AIM market. Some extra free time and the Covid speculation has got me interested. Whilst doing my research I came across TILs and have invested with a view to hold long-term.
I have been reading this chat for the last few days and I wanted your guys opinions. Is it fair to assume that generally speaking the AIM share price will follow in line with the NASDAQ listing? Furthermore, I've heard AIM is mostly full of day traders. Doesn't that make a long-term hold difficult? With all the selling and MM play?
Please forgive me if these are stupid questions! Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance :)
How did you do your research? I see you just registered here today on LSE and this is your first post. I have no idea why you think AIM is all day traders? It isn't. TILS is the most unlikely share to be traded due to the spread.
The boss is aiming at some point to move to NASDAQ as they provide better valuations to Pharma stocks ( Gabriel's own words)
No idea why you'd think AIM is day traders as the spread puts them off, it did me for a couple of weeks and I eventually bought in at a higher price as I thought the company had a compelling line up/future.
You can see it's a longer term hold for big rewards, as it refuses to budge up to the next level at the moment, even with good news....but when it does, it will be a sharp move up I'm sure.
Or a company takeover bid at a premium, that will move it up very fast lol
Alwaysone:
Did you miss the recent developments?
Update on migration to Bermuda and AIM delisting
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and other factors, the Company's plans to redomicile to Bermuda, cancel its ADR program and have its Bermuda common shares listed on Nasdaq have been delayed. The Company will provide further updates in due course when it has a better sense of timing.
Also Gabrielle's own words were to list NewCo on the London Exchange.
NK. "Doesn't that make a long-term hold difficult?" That would depend on your character and your belief in your research. Make your own mind up...It's your money.
@DonBroco - thansk for this and yes I did see all that about the delay and the potential newco on Aim.
It's still Gabriel's desire to move the Nas though, I have it on email from them as well from 2 weeks back.
Wouldn't worry me at all IF we ever go to Nas....just one form to fill out and trade it easily -- as better valued on the Nas.
