As THR have had little success. It can't have long left. Mick will milk it until it's dry. Buyers (if any) will just wait it out now, as they probably have been for many a year. The resources aren't going any where soon. Pick it up cheap in a fire sale. What a gravy train it's been for Mick. IMO.
They have the money to cover that side, to cover bringing the schedule forward given the last raise & statement so all clear there, and it's all in the air as far as any JV is concerned as is always the case. Such are Junior miners, but the copper side is where they can shine because it's a low cost operation, so they say. In goes the truck pumps in pumps out fills up a tanker with the "slurry" and off it goes, kerching, pretty simple and no real need for a JV. Plus they can have MANY operations happening at the same time, in different locations, as is realistic to do so (be nice if they elaborated on this with a how many personnel, vehicles, extraction costing but whatever.) Main point to note is that each extraction has a certain cost and therefore a certain average profit, something that can be leveraged! Hoping they sell off the other stuff (working capital then) and focus on a more realistic can do with the copper, JV's are to much like a lottery ticket.
I want to know where we are at with the USA side of operations, probably more raises required and dilution.
So the biggest news is still the quietest because that will give a better picture on the real value & how it will be done/cost vs profit. April - May 2021:- The next stage and most important stage, is to test the lab work results in-ground in a real time situation. The Site Environmental Lixiviant Test (SELT) will show if and how much copper can be extracted by the best environmentally friendly solutions. No updates on that but no change to the shown schedule either. https://www.envirocopper.com.au/news
thr is just an holding comp m8,with the copper,as a production maybe
all these comps do,is prove up a resourse and sell them.
like power metals
and yeah, the waiting game,is the frustrating part.
selll on the news
BSG4 are you holding in thr at the moment?
if so are you sitting on big losses?
have you ever held in thr?
did you sell at big losses?
It will be good for THR BOD but not the shareholders. They buy marginal (cheap) prospects. Drill them. Then when, surprise, surprise, they're not commercial. They move onto the next one, and so it's been going on for many a year. Now we're in a super cycle this will occur more frequently. As funding will be more readily available (confetti) . IMO.
Well, it seems a sensible overview of what is to come Troajan, but I'm not sure how this relates to Thor. I have an idea that we will be in a position to mine something when the 'Super cycle' has just about run it's course (assuming we are talking 30 years) and I will, no doubt, be long dead before then. Not trying to put too negative a slant on all of this but we need to see some positive JV news if we are going to stop reliving groundhog day. How else will we ever see the share price rise?
Lol. I know. Doesn’t stop it from being frustrating though
Any trade below the mid is marked as a sell. Any trade above the mid is marked as a sell. Any trade at the mid is marked as ? It's indicative only.
Did the top up. Bought @ .757. Bet it’ll look like a sell. Oh well
Typically, plenty of buys showing as sells.
Offered buy @ .757 for 150k shares, of which there are several of those today and similar yesterday.
Was offered sell @ .75 for same amount and now live quote @ .75 not avail
So.... I’m assuming there have been plenty of buys but still being dragged down.
I agree it is a hold, but I'm still expecting the price to at least bag this year. I think for the future when "stuff is coming out of the ground", then multi bagging is highly likely from todays price. Meanwhile, I'm happy to wait
There is so much to go at for Thor, but I just wish they would get some partners involved and get some stuff out of the ground and sell it!!!!!
This is a hold but it's going to be a long term hold and hopefully our new M.D. can hurry things along a bit!!!!
I think this is a significant paragraph, as it shows there's a new team involved. Hopefully we'll see significant shareholder value from now on.
"A review of the Molyhil deposit by the new Thor technical team has identified approaches which may provide scope to grow the resource estimate, and also to improve potential economic outcomes. These initiatives are undergoing assessment."
I like this bit in the RNS
"The next phases of work involving drilling at Ragged Range and also at the US uranium-vanadium project in Colorado, along with resource extension work and ISR testwork at Alford East, the Directors believe will have a significant impact on the value of shareholders' investment in Thor Mining.
Lets hope it really does have a significant impact on the value of shareholders investment.
That's what's needed some information hopefully someone is listening. Not read it all yet though.
And as an RNS
53,your right.
what they need to do is put some holes in the ground and report it to the market, or tell us the dates that we are drilling rather than vague dates that get missed, and then more vague dates.
rant over
sure she is 53
Surely we should be pleased we have been told in RNS the comment about her great performance, commitment, and enthusiasm for the project. Only in her mid forties and time to drive the company forward, knowing exactly what to get from her team and push the exploration in the right direction. She's in charge now, lets wait for results to flow. It's good. IMHO.
