How is this not over 1.60 in the first 10 minutes. Some serious manipulation going on.
It rose yesterday when the ftse was 130 points down.
Patience patience :-)
Yes 3 very nice trades at the end I knew that drop was manipulated yesterday.
1.60 plus on Monday beckons.
A lot of profit taking in all stocks still
Who did it buy around 1.4m GBP after closing market ?
Agreed this could see £1.60 today
SDRY profits coming here.
Yesterday with their top ups now it’s time to head over 1.60 again.
Im heavily invested so im not de-ramping here but their RNS was flat really and looking at their new collection I think they need to offer more fashion for people who are just looking for standard good office and going out clothes.
Im 41 and could not see anything I would buy it seems targeted to people allot younger.
I'm back in here!
Odd to see Ted down on a day when Superdry is up 13% - anybody know of a reason?
All I can think is that Superdry is crafty with writing their RNS.
Quite agree the share price is so undervalued.Unfortunately at the trading update they were not as optimistic as they should have been looking at the figures, maybe the management are just awaiting a takeover bid to get paid out, just like some other companies.
Grabbed some more at 1.54.7 just so so undervalued now. The UK’s second most popular luxury brand for 250 million quid is ludicrous.
Weddings are now going at full throttle and I'm hearing a lot of office parties being planned. With people returning to offices, especially the higher paid work where I am, Ted Baker looks well positioned to see good growth through the rest of this year. I'm holding.
Added more at 157p today.
Looking to see sp rise gradually towards 190/200p
The market reaction is a lot better than I was expecting.
Kind of ‘as you were’.
I’m contemplating taking some profit here as I would say it’s uncertain what the next catalyst is.
Really need the occasion wear back up and running at full pelt.
From reading today's RNS, it seems TB is making progress but the numbers are still down compared to 2 years ago.
Delay in new eCommerce site.
online sales down for this year but up from 2 years ago.
I just hope the market takes a positive from this.
LSE RNS machine appears to be broken

Ted Baker surges as Questor says it's a 'buy'
Ted Baker shares surged on Monday after being tipped in the Telegraph's 'Questor' column over the weekend, ahead of the fashion retailer's second-quarter trading update on Tuesday.
This share will get to 300-400 if they stick to their turnaround plan. Everything they've done so far was part of the plan so once they've shown a couple of positive quarters this will fly.
Nice move up today going into the update
NOTICE OF Q2 TRADING UPDATE
Ted Baker Plc, the global lifestyle brand, announces that it will provide a Q2 trading update for the 16 weeks to 14 August on 7 September 2021.
The reason that I said that I expected the share price to go up by up to a pound in the next few weeks is based that this company is in recovery mode and they have got all the bad news out of the way and to succeed they have to show some positive results. The first of these will come with the trading statement next week. However even if it is not good the share price will in my opinion go up by quite a lot as I think someone out there will snap them up as they are so cheap. This is only my opinion .
Sounds like someone needs some bad news to buy in I see a good trading report next week keep hold of your shares from the barrow boys
Here's what I see for Next:
"Credit Suisse says, expecting apparel and footwear sales in Europe to continue to lag retail recovery in H2. The brokerage cites little needs-based apparel demand and little sign of pent-up demand as reasons why it expects sales to continue to lag other non-food categories"
That said, the Next share price has done very nicely lately, so I'm unsure how Ted's going to perform in the update next week. Hopefully, their online business has been doing strongly.
I think he's based that on wishful thinking haha
n1shares: "I would expect it over the next fortnight to go up by at least a £1"
Wow, that's quite a rise? What's that based on - technicals/fundamentals? Any feeling for the upcoming trade update?
