So what are we talking here? Liquidation? Administration? Pre-pack?
What are the chances that someone could come in a buy bits of the company out of administration and keep the name going?

BREAKING: Thomas Cook, the world’s oldest travel company operating hotels, airlines, cruises & resorts, has ceased business operations.
According to reliable reports "Thomas Cook in administration at 3.00am 23rd September"
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/09/22/thomas-cook-bosses-received-20m-bonuses-last-5-years-company/
'as company collapsed'
From what I can see on Twitter.
Looks gen to me. Shareholders will be wiped out for sure. Feel sorry for people being held to ransom like in Tunisia. They have a brilliant litigation claim if injured in any way by attempting to leave their if force ably prevented by hotel security trying to extort extra money. I’d be kicking the gates down if prevented.
Looks like it is all over.... Sorry to see this happen.
Thanks Buck, always on the pulse
Do you have the article buck? is it 'Thomas Cook brought back to earth?'
i don't subscribe
Have some compassion for thoughs seriously affected if TCG does go under?
I wouldn't trust twitter. Looks like 7am Rns
Why send them empty to UK airports tho ??? Better to send them to the airports that they will need to repatriate from?
Looks like you're all enjoying the demise of Thomas Cook!!!!
I don't think they would move planes JUST IN CASE after all it costs a lot of money
AND did you see Fankhausers face on the video? looked like he was being sent to death row
How do we know its empty?
certainly not on the schedule
If TC get the money they need they should close the High Street outlets. I think it is the only travel company to have such outlets; the others have moved to an online presence.
I would say they have spent the last 2 hrs composing tomorrows admin RNS
Siborg you cannot get more mickey mouse than thomas cook these days

Just seen the video of them leaving the meeting. They didnt look happy heads down and refused to comment. You would expect if anything positive had been agreed they would be happy to make a statement to quell peoples concerns not looking good IMHO
FYI I don’t own any shares here - I hope shareholders all best. Don’t like people losing hard earned money.
