keithbars, best of luck mate :-)
correct poor investor i think i saw the light a few weeks back and started using the rest of my pot which i have over to reclaim some of my expected losses, so far up £850 trading RR and LandG it will take a lot of careful investing for years but that now is my goal. I will not take anymore capital out to chase this but like you said only invest what you are prepared to lose. I hope this relists and we can all move on but the signs recently dont give me much faith due to the lack of information.
justthefactsmam, I wasn't belittle anybody, I leave that for you to do. I was telling dickie that I can completely relate to him, we learn by our mistakes.
You see the problem with people like you justthefactmam, you are ignorant to the reality that surrounds you, when you are made aware of it, you take it as an insult. You approach people from your high horse but you pretend to be humble. Your just a fraud, with your judgemental attitude.
Nice story, dickie3times.
I lost money on my very first move into shares. And it wasn't even shares , it was a unit trust : M&G Global Gold, back in the mid 80's .
The world's economy looked shaky, gold seemed a 'safe haven', I bought.
A couple of months later, the 'crash' duly arrived, my effin' trust went DOWN in value. To this day I don't understand why.
To add insult to injury, I'd missed signing the cheque with my application, it was returned to me for correction, so I got a second chance to show I didn't know what I was doing....
Oh , and years later I was in FRR too - and lost money on that - but that was in the 00's , so must have been in an earlier chapter of the same story...
Live and learn, eh .. or try to !
Amongst the gunk, there was some kind of sensible logic in that poorinvestor. Its like you are 2 people, the cautious/realistic side that emerges to try and belittle a sensible post (dickie3times) and the defensive blinkered attack dog at anyone treading on your own branch of delusional positivity.
Its pretty obvious something is wrong here, lets hope it doesnt gobble our money up and its something more procedural. I hope extrader is wrong but i fear he may be on to something.
Nice story dickie3times.I’ve been buying and selling since my school days , not shares of course but it’s all the same. My advice to anybody that wants to listen is, there are no certainty with anything except death. You could be married for 60 years and not know your partner, you could invest in a business that is perfect and it could go bust. Look, the unsinkable ship Sank (titanic). Always invest, what you can afford to lose.
Me too!!! QPP, WRN, wiped out my biggest earner Durlacher many years ago!!!!
I’ve tried that as well , but to no avail ! Investor relations leaves a lot to be desired IMO !!
Why don't yo u email the company, investors@supplymecapital.com
. You should all know by now that i am super positive with Syme, still am. Way back during the time of the Neandathals i was unlucky to invest on a few stocks that went bust The first was that super riser Pollypeck run by the incorrigible crook Asil Nadir who fled the country for 15yrs with millions of the company's funds. He was jailed for 10yrs when he finally returned to face the music I lost a lot of money which took many years to recover my losses.
I was bitten and learnt a big lesson so ever since i was EXTRA cautious when parting with my money. So wary was i that it could happen again, 7i would over check and research every board director. It surely won't happen again? So i took a massive chance on FRR Fronterra Res over 2yrs ago but panicked out when their Nomad left making me a fair profit. Regretting selling out when i had bought at their lowest ever price at 0.0011p, i was about to re-buy at treble that price when they suspended and remain delisted with no sign of coming back. I had a lucky escape through my fear of company directors I often don't trust them.
Now, surely it cannot hapoen again?
Having followed LION for a few months i was ready to make my biggest ever single investment in multiple tranches, a total of £ 27,000. Their monthly updates and articles were phenomenal.
I was again about to take just a weeny bit of profit...when BANG my share dealer told me they have JUST suspended. You all know the rest. 3yrs later they are still delisted, with absolutely no news for ove a year.
Could it happen again to me....WHY NOT FFS it seems fashionable forcthese skanky Ceos to catch us all out when we least expect it.
So now i am really super-piffed off and doubly wary. When the f/ ..k am i going to find something that does'nt go wrong and delist.
Surely it JUST CAN'T HAPPEN AGAIN?
Now i an in defence mode and drastically cutting back on my investments, 2 grand was my maximum, so i bought into URA for a fun gamble on their promise for an RTO. Ceo Mellissa Sturges literally usurped the company funds to finance a new company (Ananda). Delisted URA and stuck two fingers up to us shareholders....URA is gone and so is all our money. She is a crook.
But wait a mo' i nearly forgot.....Photonstar PSL. they changed their name to BOULD Opportunities, again with the promise of an RTO. Nothing has happened for 3 yrs, still delisted and NO NEWS.
So one can imagine how i researched SYME. SPOT ON CEO, Experienced director, plenty of client interest and an entirely new concept?
So this time i thought i would invest a bit more.
After all it seriously couldn't happen again....
Could it?
