If it can be demonstrated to Sirius Minerals that the $600m could be raised they will have to listen.
We are talking to the institutional share holders but need to understand the private investor interest in raising the $600m.
There is a dedicated web site and brief survey here: http://www.fundsirius.com/
Please take a look, take the survey and spread the word. The more interest there is the more chance of a positive outcome.
KEEP REPOSTING...
IBAB , you're entitled to your view and for the most part you make some rational points (not that I agree with them - they're just your OPINION after all), but I strongly object to the following post -
".....and how much spare cash they have available to invest, to an internet site knocked up in a few minutes by god knows who?"
You know full well that there are very well intentioned hard working holders that are doing all they can to try and preserve every shareholders investment by trying to succeed where the BOD have failed (failed to make a sincere effort once their Aussie mates came along some might say).
To cast aspersions of insinuate the survey was "knocked up in a few minutes by god knows who" is a pretty low blow and I hope those who pay attention to your posts can begin to see you for who you really are. You're not interested in "helping" holders with your "advice". If you were - and considering you're not a holder - you would keep posts such as this to yourself and allow the holders a fair crack at self help.
I would encourage every genuine holder or ex-holder or potential holder to visit the site and take the survey -https://fundsirius.com/survey/ - and share the site on social media with friends, family and anyone else who you think might be interested in helping to save this company and our investment.
I'm glad to have a group working hard to try and provide a better outcome for us. It helps balance the characteristics of people like IBAB.

Survey completed..... but can I ask if this is an independent survey, or do Sirius have any connection with this?....
Hi FosterE
Yes the group are in touch with the press and we are looking to get that promotion that promotion.
SM are clearly not going to engage positively about anything but the AA takeover, this is our best hope at forcing their hands, prove to them that they are wrong and they should have done a better job at looking into the finance....
It only works if we get the support on this survey.
and don't forget if you've already sold your shares you could still get back in if this works out via the raise, so still take the survey....
Survey done.
Is this being advertised or written about at a national level through any media sources? Something like this survey popped up a few months ago- I seem to remember it hit about £4 million and then ran out of steam?
The only way to see if it’s got any real traction is surely for Sirius to actually do a retail bond offering/share issue, with the proceeds held in escrow, and launched through big retail platforms like HL? But then I’m guessing Sirius won’t be playing ball with that...
Survey complete .lets get the word about
