"I see GK has come in from the cold, long time no see.... once well respected but now very transparent"
Exactly that!
Beware of false prophets, yes prophets! All looks well balance, however, buried in his fancy prose is the bait, sting comes at a time of his choosing.
Appears to be on opposite ends of the spectrum to IBAB, a tad more articulate, with unique modus operandi.
I am guessing not a popular view with many 'believers'.
Addium to DYOR should be TWYW (trust who you want).
Never say never but Boulby has been good to me, I feel loyal.
Hi polyminer 2.
I would suggest that your experience is just what sirius would seek and pay well for. I too am nearing the end of my working life but I have changed jobs recently, its like a breath of fresh air and I would heartily reccomend it.
At 1500m virgin rock temp will be around 50 degrees, then all the transformers ect , you may well need additional cooling, years air we had portable conditioned cabin at meeting stations, I was never a fan of them. these conditions are what turn miners in to brothers !
Heat and mining the polyhalite. Two known risks, well understood.
It’ll be easier to mine at Woodsmith because of the thickness of the seam. Air conditioning?
OR
No doubt Woodsmith will be very appealing "for the younger ones", I've just about done my time, started mining at 19 and now had 34 years in, saying that I would love a visit.
On top of all the challenges mining poly you will encounter, I believe Woodsmith will have heat to contend with, it will sort out the men from the boys.
Aubrey I agree with your assessment, I hope very much things can improve for long term holders soon.
It is more than possible that GK has been hit hard like very many long term holders.
Sirius could provide him with a much safer and modernised work experience when we are up and running. Why would he not want to work at woodsmith....plus free gym facility for all employees. did you know that was up for offer poly? Now get down and give me 20
I see GK has come in from the cold, long time no see, but once again TALKING HIS BOOK, how long ago did he open his SHORT, once well respected but now very transparent. there all out tonight. Birdi2
Not questioning you dt just saying what I see so my post wasn’t aimed at you mate. I’ve said to poly before he’d be useful here and I’m interested in his thought that’s all. I also kind of admire he’s resisting the fact they are a mini and we’re going to be a Rolls Royce !!!!!
Wait until we are up and running poly and you can change side eh ?
Regardless of Polyminers investment here I'm more than happy to have him on this board, in comparison so some of the diatribe that's getting posted on this board more recently it's an absolute pleasure to converse with someone who knows what he's talking about, and I do take note of his imput from the Poly Face so to speak, thanks Polyminer.

Can only see SP improving by shorts closing. Only small PI punt money and traders buying.
Our limbo continues
Oh, I'm a holder, I bought another £500 last week to get my average down, I know its a gamble but in for a penny and all that.
I don't know exact numbers, I think it's around 300 Boulby employees underground and 40 Amco.
Were about to recruit another 100 Boulby for a new project thats worth £20 million a year.
I don't doubt he's genuine FFC but I wish he'd look into the planned economics of what we are going to be doing down there, the tunnel being the most obvious advance. Polyminer, I have nothing against you, just find the company you work for are hypocrites for every statement they have made towards Sirius and the case for poly4.

Sentiment is rock bottom because we don’t know the deal
Not sure it can improve until we know the deal.
We have to hope the share price can improve substantially before we have to do a deal. Sentiment is at the lowest I have ever known it is totally on the floor and hardly surprising but maybe it can change?
Number of new shares is obviously going to depend on the issue price, after yesterday we do have clarity on the amount required to move forward at least.
I don’t hide my contempt for many detractors hear but fwiw I think polyminer is genuinely a holder here and not a basher that should be dismissed !! Poly I know you laid a lot off a while ago , how many are now working at boulby please and what do you think your output will be in a couple of years ?
Ffc
Yip, and the Choo choo might need more vroom vroom.
I hope it remains viable for a long time to come for the good of the workforce and families.
Still to study the SM releases from yesterday. But I see we have somewhere between 16 billion and a trillion shares being bandied about!
Good job Danaman has his million tucked away ! Lol.
Polyminer you can cut and shift as many tons as you want with enough investment in equipment but you have one slight problem, it's a bottleneck that will require more than I suspect ICL would consider investing in an old mine once SXX is up and running, one could say you might be 'shafted' as far as future volume is concerned!!!.
However I do not wish or mean to sound disrespectful to ICL's employees and sincerely hope that both Boulby and Woodsmith are productive large scale employees for decades to come.
Sheps8. PS I know Boulby faced adversity in the early seventies in building its mine to then go on and be successful for many decades I'm confident Sirius will overcome theirs.

I don't know about the politics, I just know a bit about mining Poly, I hope both companies and workforce doing well out of this.
but I don't think were as tired as people think.

That’s good for the workforce.
Doesn’t stop the management interfering in SM affairs though. Obvs worried on profit margins over volume long term.
People are out of touch with Boulby, Most of the conveyors are now 48" or 54" we have new screens, new sizers, new Joy crushers, new shuttle cars on order and regular overhauled miners, we made a mistake with the Sandvik's but were over that. I agree some areas need and are been improved but I don't think were as tired as people think.
And you'd think he'd know that already scotman....doh!
Very very poor sentiment and perceived financial risk is why it is priced at 3p. After yesterday I am confident that Fraser will deliver a workable solution to move forward. He was controlled and measured.
However it is crucial for the long term value of the share that sentiment vastly improves before it becomes time critical to get a deal done. We don’t have much so that is the crucial unknown for me, not now in my view whether of not a way forward will be found.
As a very long term holder I took the view after September that I would stay invested, that is what I will do.
Polyminer, we shouldn't have too many problems by the time we have multiple drives up and running because you lot are doing the test bed experiments for us a couple of years in advance, however we do have a few other hurdles to get over before we come to that stage.
