TBH no idea but DYOR and only invest what you can afford to lose with these very risky small cap shares. GL
Was the interest on Friday someone buying in then big it up over the weekend only to sell out on the spike on Monday. Is this a boomer? Lol.
?
Thanks, I usually do most of my trading via my Hargreaves Lansdown SIPP so not sure if I can do any orders being 8am (will check). It worked in my favour last week as I wanted to buy STG early but I had to go to neg trade and after 10 minutes the trade was still pending so I cancelled. Later in the morning I did invest and at a lower price than the 8.05am quote. Still not 100% sure I will invest here but if I do it will be early before I cycle to work at 8.30am. GL
Yes I know and thanks - my aim is really to get a trading system working. I know I won't get too much professional advice so have taken the route of trying and testing everything I can find. Been working on it for 3 years and the from my LSE_cs tweets these are proving themselves. Investigating Ichimoku now with the view of programming this very shortly.
If you are really brave/silly call pre market and buy ...can normally get a price from about 7.30 am as the mms open - the problem is you'll pay phone commission and the broker will contact 1 mm (rather than poll a number for the best price) and any mm contacted will immediately get greedy and hoik the price for size as he'll wonder why people are buying before the market...of course the advantage is you are in before the crowd...if there is a crowd and they haven't all succumbed to mad horse meat disease....I think the last trade was over 0.10...with market 0.13 offered so I'm pretty sure you'll be able to buy within the spread ...
The interest is building but it is nowhere near the level seen on EVO and MDC last week (yet). I got the heads up about this share from a regular LSE poster who has not yet posted here! Then I saw the comments on a popular thread so definitely got my interest but not sure it will do the sort of return seen elsewhere. The trouble with early morning trading is either you buy on a sharp spike high OR you get in before the real spike - difficult to say what will happen here tomorrow except it will go higher IMO
in my day that was someone who has lost there marbles lol a bit like M4 but any how i have followed you lets see what you can come up with ?
Space cadet Not twitter ... Oh well it must be a blind buy then....how do I set up an account again? Brick....what was that rns on Friday about? Guess there might be one of those here at 200%
Brick here from MDC [gonna fly next week]....checked out this stock and am not impressed...what's with the huge spread?..Nah! not for us MDCers, we know where the real money lies. Good luck anyway. Brick..
Yes, STK came up on my system too a couple of days ago just before the rise http://theartofstockpicking.blogspot.co.uk/
Take no notice of the spread you may struggle to buy any tho without going NT or phone come Monday morning
Bull flag posted in Ichimoku trader http://ichimokutrader.com/
Not a lot TBH because there hasn't been much news flow recently. I note shareholder funds are £ 1.2 million against £ 770k market value in the last report so 50% upside to fair value? The spread is a concern but it's rarely what is shown. It's probably a cheap fillet!
Lol so what did your 24 hours of non stop STK research uncover? Is is it horse STEaK, prime beef fillet or a complete pig?
Yes, lots of coverage over the various BBs noting the late spike and buying volume on Friday. No guarantee of shooting up but I reckon it will. Just hope to get some before the MDC crew cotton on! LOL
What do you mean by choppy.? Do you think the price will open up on fri close?
Hi Shadoww Do you have any idea whether this is profitable yet? & any est for how much cash is left (op loss of £65k in six months to 30.9.12, yes? & £168k in cash then, I think) "Unfortunately, as announced on 24 October 2012, the decision on whether to proceed with stage two has been delayed until 2013. This has obviously been a setback and a disappointment for the business........The outlook for the full year is not as positive as it was at the beginning of the year but we are working hard to grow the business and enhance shareholder value." (Two extract from interims; dec 2012) doesn't exactly excite does it? Worth everyone reading the full interims for context (and all the recent rns) imv...... DYOR, all & enjoy the rest of the w/e atb Jolly
They(Directors0 hold 29%. If you look back there was a 15million sell. I expected the market makers to stop taking further sells but they were still willing to take a shedload off me. Leads me to believe market makers still after a few shares here.
One last point (or our posts might be noticed lol)... I always try to work out which companies are due to report or issue an IMS the following week and take a position in one or two which I think may re-rate on news. TBH I have mixed results as a company can always issue a profits warning but at least those shares I pick tend to move sharply one way or the other after the event!
Yeah why couldn't that have happened last week! lol Quite time now.
Looking at the trading history, there was days of non stop selling hence the share price drop, then late on Friday a number of buys caused the share price to rise 40% so I suspect it will rise on Monday morning then sells will kick in for it to fall back (maybe the time to buy..). Perhaps the seller is out or someone knows something and piled in big. The plus point is that this could be like MDC and not on many investors radar YET (not that many posters today) so unless there is a RNS on Monday morning, I still feel it might be worth getting in before the GMA to MDC crew move in LOL GL
No worries as I know there's nothing worse than selling a share to then see it shoot up. Still if the placings were at a far higher price than the current share price it may be worth getting back in - depends on what happens on Monday morning I guess. GL
Sorry I offended you. This tends to rise on volume very quickly so now it's been spotted it will do 100% on volume alone so was hoping it would stay quite but as you said someone spotted it, doubt I'll bother buying back now lost chance on Friday well the chance I wanted.
