0.35 to 2.675 not surprised it dropped a bit after. Next leg up coming by the looks of things, asset backed, similar rise?
;)
-8%......as predicted dropping
RNSs were displayed on both the SOLO and SCIR pages for 2 days to inrform people of the change over.
Now all the RNSs are only shown on the SCIR pages because the SOLO ticker is obsolete
Chat is now on the SCIR board
https://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.asp?ShareTicker=SCIR&share=Scirocco-Energy
I have just been to Scirocco on LSE and they had an RNS yesterday saying about the name being changed, but there's nothing on Solo. How weird!!
with this Share. I have looked at the RNS's and there is nothing new to explain this. I know that there was talk about a name change, but no RNS it's just gone. Has the name change happened and the B.O.D forget to mention it?

Sounds desperate, is the flash cash short stalling?
Last post: cperkin, 21 Oct 2020 23:02
Yes Crusty, the main difference being that solo are prepared to fund up the next step of development whilst they wait for an appropriate offer that values an asset that's 75% funded to production and probably an 8 well development gas export project, whilst not being influenced by a 30% holding by the Zubairs, who now seemingly both own over 50% of the Ruvuma asset and run Aminex.
Is the asset not worth more post farm-out and 75% funding than before?
A very similar argument could have been made for the AEX valuation when the recently completed F/O was originally proposed - indeed we were both vociferous about the AEX Board selling out at "fire sale" prices. Just because the sale price considerably undervalued the assets it didn't stop the farm-out happening......
25% sold for $2.5m of cash and $17.5m of "credit"..... that is not the same thing as $20m
25% of 2 TCF GIIP and 756 BCF 2C 75% funded to production and probably full field development.
Any mug with less than 10 minutes research knows it's worth a lot more than the current mcap of £13 mill, when 25% just sold for $20 million and before the 75% funding.
Expect lots of noise from all that see it and the price.

I was going to ask if you knowing the board intimately as you appear to. Chris ,do you reckon some On the board may have accounts in Leitchenstine!! I sincerely trust the figures on your last message don’t represent what they are proposing to accept ,if so it stinks of corruption and in dire need of investigation ,I trust I’ve misread this

I am trying to work out the best price we could possibly achieve for a complete sale.
Very difficult as we don’t know the potential buyer.
Would probably get more from a larger company.
If valued at a cove energy sale value about 60 million dollars would seem about right.
All imo and based on my arithmetic which could be incorrect.

Seems someone has caught the Tanzanian go slow bug over at aminex.
I know it will all go through but why is everything at aminex and here always done at a snail's pace.
Once ruvuma out of the frame should start moving much quicker.

Chris, I also feel that Helium IPO is a long way off yet, although it's an asset that could potentially be very exciting!
Just watched it.
Whilst I think it's good to hear from them at long last, I interpreted it as no closer to any deal to enter the European market.
Unless they get a move on with either committing to or selling our 25%, I just see more debt and dilution.
Let's hope they provide some actual news in the near future.
The positive takeaways for me, even if most not new.
Ruvuma, group of perspective buyers with a number of parties reviewed data & talks restarting now the FO has been approved. SOLO willing to fund through debt if no offer at the right price.
Ruvuma value considerably in excess of current market cap, no surprise there.
Helium-1 IPO looks like it will be soon with drilling next year (will it actually happen this time?)
GLA
I also watched it and mostly reiteration of what we already knew, nonetheless it was comforting to hear, also the first interview since last October so keep them coming.
Watched interview.
Didn’t give any new information.
It will be interesting to see if Ruvuma is sold completely.
They are keen to reinvest income into future investments.
My hopes of a special dividend seem to have all but disappeared.

Jack yes I took some more ready to get even more if this goes lower, you need to focus where the SP will be in 12 months not now as the wheels are just wobbling forward, poll suggests this is the black sheep stock compared to the other side but I disagree in that judgement, if the board is going to deliver then we will see Q4 or H1 next year and if they do there no reason this should not be at 3p but fag packet guessing is always dangerous but Chris is the man on valuations GLA !!!
Not such an awful finish after all.

Hi mannnan, ive been in lockdown in my commune waiting for Solo to prosper.
Ariel. Where have you been?
Ariel. It’s gone more than a week. It would of been better saying few weeks rather than few days
Lawyer's shuffling paper and making a packet is a more likely a scenario imo, if they had wanted to walk, they could have done anytime in the last 2 years.
Aex said they anticipate within the next few days, maybe they should have said soon, read into it what you want.

The quote above is used as it explains better than I can the quantum of the potential at H1, the big question is how that value should be demonstrated for all shareholders. I have heard around on the street in recent weeks that H1 is gearing up for an IPO, in which case this comment seems to be fairly accurate. ‘The Company also continues to actively assess a listing on an international stock exchange in order to access capital to fund future activity’.

Hi all. Been following the board and hold both SOLO & AEX for many years now; can I put a question out there?
I’ve been thinking of selling my holding in SOLO and buying more AEX in order to lower my BE.
Is that a stupid thing to do and why?

Indeed Chris, AEX should have said in the RNS, Tanzanian days ;0)
Learned the hard way (SXX) never doing that again.
My sentiment exactly trrime (Chris), they would of had absolutely everything covered off, not like they had anything to do in the meantime!
Someone should explain to them that a few means a couple!
Nice sub 2p, time to average up
GL
So I see there was an RNS released this morning at 7am, but not much impacted the SP as I was hoping for today .
Hoping for a better RNS which provides more interesting factual news. I'm my opinion RNS today it was just general waffle ?
Still holding for medium term.

Morning AA, yes looks like hey are ramping up for an IPO, previously they said it would be on the ASX exchange but they now just say "The Company also continues to actively assess a listing on an international stock exchange in order to access capital to fund future activity"
More soon I hope.
Morning Chris, the Ipo must be fairly soon presumably as it is needed to raise cash for them to proceed with their plans ( not necessarily on the UK exchange.
Morning Steve, it seems you were correct on the licences, my apologies.
An upgrade to resources and finally some news, no IPO yet though.

Good Holding RNS
G.P. (Jersey) Limited
as of end of day 16-10-2020
Holding 61,573,978 shares = 8.51%
So they have not yet sold any of the the shares that they have been accumulating. They see more value than is currently shown in the shareprice.
--
Later this week should be an RNS for the holding of
Prolific Basins LLC
They are gonna want to take some profit
Exactly Stonefold, they won't be offloading mindlessly.
GP took their profit in UJO by selling into strong demand , which is not the same as the downwards drip of say UKOG.
https://www.investegate.co.uk/Index.aspx?searchtype=3&words=ujo&pno=3
5 year chart
https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/UJO/union-jack-oil-plc/company-page
GP (Jersey) Limited is a private company with a low profile, that has been in business for 30 years.
It has previously invested in Union Jack Oil gradually building a stake up to 15% over 2 years, which it sold for more than 100% profit.
The share price of UJO today is still 60% higher than the average price GP bought its shares for.
GP might on 20-10-2020 have 61,573,978 shares with an average price below 1.06p
They are happy to slowly buy in the market to increase their stake.
They see strong potential for an increase in value.
Expect to see a few holdings RNSs

That mid cap status within a few years seems quite laughable at present.
So the drop in share price has started as usual.an slow decline to where we were two weeks ago if history repeats itself

Agree Stonefold & not before time, they have been ramping up PR for a few days now.
Might see the double here, Ruvuma and Helium drilling.
Good luck!
Looks like they are doing pre-IPO promotion?
https://twitter.com/Heliumone1?lang=en
Be good to see this move to raise value.
A double bonanza both the work of the last directors, be nice if this bod could come up with something to their credit such as a acusision or something.
Hi AA, no real indication, they only need a few mill to drill though & I seem to remember the CEO mentioning a $5 million float on ASX in an interview last year.
Just wish they would get on and do something, maybe the recent mentions on Twit mean it's about to come to life again? I hope so for shareholders here, Ruvuma and Helium drilling would be a double Bonanza
Morning Chris, as yet we have no idea as to the value of that on floatation presumably?
