In your opinion frank, in your opinion.....
As you yourself pointed out frank what did Mr Ambrose say to everybody yesterday? That AEX have no cash and therefore need a JV to bring in cashflow. Do you think anyone will provide us with cashflow for nothing frank? No, of course not. Therefore we will be diluted and what is that if it isn't a fundraise?
You say "and you knew exactly what you was doing" - yes frank I was simply pointing out what I believe the impact and implication of what Mr Ambrose's comments were likely to have on shareholders. Should the fact that I have circa 11 million shares stop me from commenting on his interview honestly and openly? Or should I, as you would, have only chosen to highlight the pieces that suit my stock position?
I say again Frank, just because that would be your attitude does NOT mean that other people think in the same way; others people's actions are not solely ruled by self interest nor fixated on short term money grabbing.
You carry on "ramping" and "de-ramping" to suit your stock position frank and I will simply continue to say things as I see them irrespective of their potential impact on my short term wealth. Incidentally, unlike you I do not believe my comments make the slightest bit of difference on the sp anyway.
I hold about 11 million shares in AEX and have been an AEX shareholder for over 10 years; does that sound like someone that is a "trader"? Oh and by the way do you actually believe that it would even be possible to "trade" 11 million shares.... LOL!
You carry on voicing your small minded opinions of me if you like Frank but I suggest that unless you want to escalate this further you keep them to yourself in the future.
Crusty/Tony whoever you really are or what you really do in your life, I remember conversation and where needed in a business environment I record the conversation so I can refer back to it at a later date and funny enough it was done again yesterday and amazing, it saves confusion as you can forget words people say in 8 months, it your voice I hear talking to me if indeed it was you, Share Trading is a business not a punt as it was in 2017and now I make sure i`m 100% on the ball now , regarding "Buying" & "Selling" but I`m not risk avert so it is difficult as you sell sometimes not getting the full amount you deserve for your homework, I hardly mislead people as I post every buy and sell, I was shocked yesterday as many others were but the difference is Robert Ambrose was being decent and maybe too truthful as it was his first interview and you knew exactly what you was doing, we will see where Karma gets you and me, my experience of wealthy people is that they don`t go posting lots of negative post in a stock they not invested in esp about placing`s or funding requirement and when you look at other seasoned investors there posts are reflective where your is done to have effect ;o)
The fact that you even need to ask that question frank is far more of a reflection on you than it is on me; the fact that you cannot understand how or why someone might say something because they genuinely believe it to be true, correct or in the public interest rather than in their own financial interests shows just how shallow you really are. It also betrays the motivation and logic behind all of your posts.
And the perversity is you are the one that keeps banging on about "Karma"! My goodness me can you not see how laughable that is from a man that will say anything necessary to "feather his own nest"....
Good luck.
Just over 900k myself.
Early retirement hopefully.
Crusty but why a man would buy a stock at .50 and use the language that you did today, you are condemning your own stock and you knew exactly the way to say it, anyway we leave dead dogs lying like we did on that total debacle in Sept (2019) have a good weekend !!!
ffs sake frank you really are an ar**hole sometimes .... "of course he is a trader so has a agenda " So just to make it clear both to you and everyone else; I am not a trader and do not have an agenda!
You need to learn not to judge everyone by your own standards Frank but then some things are just never meant to be are they. Particularly when it suits your own agenda and self interest. Thankfully everyone with the slightest intelligence can see through your nonsense.
Near term income is more likely to be a producing deal and or the farmout/sale of Ruvuma steve. Still reckon they will spud Dec 2020 like every other well they have drilled.
Listening to the interview looks like at least another two years at least until income.
Of course that is if the production licence is granted by then.
I see our sp is dropping in sympathy.
highlandmatt bang on I thought that one and the board must of watched that interview or known before this was the case, I had to sell some share from AEX because of that "Dear John" interview and was sad but Crusty said alot of valid points, of course he is a trader so has a agenda but lives and breath AEX & Solo so would know really, we due a update now lets see if they can done a deal or not !!!
A slight delay to CH1 would suit Solo. Gives longer to find the money for its share of the costs.
Maybe he should have joined the solo board instead.
Aminex CEO says farm-out nearing finishing line.

Like the way he comes across, clearly positive about the future. Now some news from Solo on their own farmout please.
Great vid, so Spud Q1 2021 and looking for a JV with producing assets to help with cash flow.
The market is in an unusual place right now and they may well provide the BOD with an opportunity to deliver a deal with high potential upside post CV19. Like trrime I expect a deal will be very positive for the SP, pending terms of course. It also depends on where they are with the sale or farmout with Ruvuma. The Zubairs like the asset so much, I am surprised they are not in line to move their share of the asset to over 50% once they become operator?
I suppose even if the deal had gone through at least income is coming in.
The gas price will increase in due course.
Cash is king
At the moment ours is diminishing and not being replaced.
Morning Chris.
Is worrying but as Mikhail states in the next post any deal would probably would have had a negative impact on the company given the current situation.
I do wonder if they could resurrect the dyas deal at a much lower price. There must be lots of cheap assets available at knocked down prices.
It's a tough pill to swallow but sometimes doing nothing is doing something, any deal would have killed the company stone dead the way things have developed. All of the 15 deals must now be revisited, re-costed dramatically and renegotiated. We still have similar levels of cash and will get much more bang for our buck, the idea behind an asset purchase was receive an income to fund Ruvuma.....in short the deal falling through was great news in hindsight and now everything we were looking at is now in the bargaian basement section
Morning steve, quite agree, they had 15 deals, got down to 3 they were close to closing, one of which was the one Dyas deal that fell through, so no idea where they are with the rest?
Next news from Ruvuma should be along soon with completion of the farmout and hand over to the Omani's and news will then come from them and not Aminex. How quickly will they then move to drilling C1?
Hard to believe this was issued on 22nd March 2019.
They stated they were looking at 15 potential transactions.
Since then we have had 1 aborted transaction given the size of it this probably took most of the management time and costs for many months.
The Ruvuma sage continues, however, I am rather concerned about the total lack of news other than Ruvuma which is issued by aminex anyway. We now have a very large and experienced board which haven’t really achieved anything in the last 18 months. We moaned about nr, however, all the asset disposals and current assets held are down to him. I hope the board come up with a deal soon as they will have some serious explaining to do. The lack of any communication is also worrying. I look forward to some good news.
HI steve, quite agree. The board thus far have delivered little and we wait to see if they go for a complete sale of Ruvuma or a farmout. Looks like the clock is being wound up for ticking by the Zubairs.
Morning Chris.
Still not sure if the board will keep asset to develop and increase future sale value.
Or if the will farm a percentage out or sell outright.
A close one to call.
Some news regarding anything would be appreciated at the moment.
The board haven’t really said a thing since last October.
Only a matter of time now then Chris, lets all hope there are no delays by the Tanz Gov and we get cracking.
Looks like the Zubair corp is preparing for drilling and field development.
