Great idea. Just unlucky withe timing. At least the new guy at Pexa got smexit done, even if we are screwed over again. Could have been worse
Another company gone on the cheap. When will the English tech market rate shares fairly. A bargain
Good spot WJ. Might also explain the slow progress of negotiation. A conclusion must be imminent as diligence was completing last week. Interest rates stable, fixed rates coming down and signs of activity in the housing market. I’m quite willing to hold if the deal is not forthcoming. No doubt would take a hit on the share price, but they have potentially a very valuable business hence the quality and quantity of funds . I cant see them parting for this for less than £1 +. If not the business is not worth buying imo
The big question however is how much are they willing to pay ?
70/80/90p !
Joe Pepper takes up his new position on the 2nd October so hopefully the takeover of Smoove can be his first big announcement.
I see Pexa has a new boss in the uk makes sense to purchase smoove with the immediate impact it have on the bottom line !!
Artificial unintelligence seems to be storming lse.
Although there is no assurance of their genuine interest in acquiring the company, it is undeniable that they possess the necessary funds.
"Investing £5k is definitely worth it, especially with the time allocated for preparing the documentation!"
It appears that the news has been released!
It's fascinating that they have released a statement expressing their intention to bid, and what's even more intriguing is that they plan to offer cash! I'm eager to see the financial commitment!
Well due dilligence not quite complete and no announcement of a price or deal structure if not all cash.
Still bought a few today.
As expected another deadline. Still doing due diligence. Perhaps someone could have a whip round and buy them a calculator
Surely must be worth a £5k punt with a statement of time to draw up the documentation!!!!
This is so Aimless. A few bot trades and no doubt another extended deadline friday. 5 months of negotiating ? Its not exactly a complicated conglomeration IN THE FTSE100. Hope Pexa are paying for our time
And on we go. Must be getting close to some kind of decision. Apparently Pexa are obliged to conduct due diligence on themselves too. Maybe that is taking the time. Smv is not that bigger company!
You saying that based on price going up today? Sorry I had a little top up. Would be nice to get news this week but given how long it's taking I'm not expecting any progress this week.
Typical looks like the news is out !!!
The rumours are that Pexa paid £20 million for. Optima legal so looking at turnover and cash we should be looking at an offer of around £1 plus .
Fingers Cross !
Further extension. Some progress at last. Entering ‘due diligence process’ is a lot more encouraging. Interesting to see how the market views this statement if at all. Must be worth a good punt for anyone not already invested. I would not add more because clearly there must be a bit of a gulf as to what is acceptable to both sides. I imagine SMV want well over a pound and Pexa need to know why and are prepared to thoroughly investigate. gl all
Results as per. Half market cap in cash, after acquisition and return of 3.7 million to shareholders so business valued at £10 million.! Complete joke. No wonder Pexa are keen . I guess they will if they can takeover, be mad not to.
Extended again to jul14th. And can be extended again. So what is the point of a deadline they are not school kids ffs
Bloody pain Pexa. Put up or shut up!
The price should be north of a £1 looking at the potential of the company.
Remortgaging is booming at the moment with millions of deals coming to an end and the housing market is starting to pick up .
So while there is no guarantee they are seriously interested in buying the company and they certainly have the cash !!!!
