Started off positive. 12 April looks nailed on as a date to reopen. Revenue will then start flooding in to the company. Dare I say with uncertain future for a lot of people they will be looking at Shoezone to buy shoes. Not everyone can afford £70 Clark’s shoes!
They have stopped spending money for the moment - hence no commitment to larger stores. 12th April onwards is where they will know.
No mention of stores closing every year for 3 years.
They have closed 40 stores in 2020.
Your a classic deramper! ??
Wrong.
Card closed stores.
Next!
I was in card factory last month. Share sitting at 30p (was 90p pre covid). Had a great run up to 70p and I jumped out.
This is a good business and similar to card. They constantly make big profits every year and have never had any debt until now (£12 million).
This will carry on where it left off next month minus a few stores. There attention has turned to the out of town superstores which can only be a good thing.
This was £1.80 pre covid don’t forget.

Agreed. Others seeing value too it seems. Always try and get in before the herd arrives. £1 before shops open seems achievable here. Could be more. DYOR IMHO.
Up it goes.
LSE have the spread wrong. It’s 66.95p to buy.
Just bought in. GLA
awful lot of sales discounting going on
ticking up nicely
Totally agree sterraman. Only thing worse would be a norwegin joining like an Ars Ole.
Well there was a comeback, and I am just breaking even. Any fall tomorrow, and SHOE gets the BOOT. My days of going down with the ship are over. I will keep it on the watch list, but I aren't going be impressed if some Richard Sole or Roger Sole or Robert Sole joins the BOD.
Brantano went bust. I need to do some.more detailed research here. Looks like this could go either way
Oh really. What happened to Ms Cold Feet?
Sold out this a.m. for 67.3. I'm not looking to get back in as I can't see it improving.
Good luck to everyone still holding.

Mr Boot did not kick off a share price rise, it was a kick into touch. What has sabot-aged the price of what was one of my best shares? I've been leathered. I am no longer singing O Sole Mio. Is there any chance of this share getting well-heeled again?
I agree with you too Feverman. The FD mostly like did a Meghan Markle and indeed told the family what they did not want to hear. Given his name it is also possible he told a royal footman.
As you are a respected contributor here I feel it is ok for you to mention Angling Direct in this plaice but anyone else doing so can sling their hook.
Tend to agree with you - the FD's exit was the sign for me this was in trouble, and I suspect he told the family what they didn't want to hear. Am glad I got out when I did. Am currently looking at Angling Direct which is a fascinating little business with a great digital offer, European footprint, strong customer numbers and in absolutely the right leisure end of the market.
