Investec bullish on UK Value stocks for 2021 - augers well for SGC

Chri55……..there you go again, you cannot resist being obnoxious to other fellow investors can you. Your superior pompous self comes across as a real fud I am sad to say.
You quote about me investing peanuts……I presently have £500k invested across the market right now though if you follow my disaster on CNA you will know I bailed out of that last year making a £180K loss but such is life. Sadly unlike you I never buy at the bottom or sell at the top but then again I wonder how much truth is attached to your little trading boasts.
Short it at your peril. It's common knowledge that a SGC share is worth 0.36 of a NEX share. So, at that ratio using the current NEX sp of 242 that's a SGC so of more like 87p . It's not rocket science to see the two aligning as the deal becomes more real. It's happening- you do the math
Big spike up 10 minutes ago for SGC - went up 3pct trading at 84.3p as I am typing - not sure why though - Nothing on reuters - anyone heard anything?
dyor etc
Has the MM's gone for a Christmas party, the shares is not moving yet NEX is up nearly 3%
I intend to keep, but I’m really flummoxed why the sgc share isn’t now mirroring the nex share I’m obviously missing something.
Unless the merger is a fine deal in theory only until later .
I see no reason to sell before the merger - the synergies between the two companies will be hugely beneficial in terms of savings going forward - only issue I can see is redundancies and if the unions kick off - if that goes smoothly then the share price should re rate imo
gl dyor etc
What are everyone's plans stick with the merger or sell you shares before?
I tend to agree. Let’s keep both SGC and NEX boards on topic. We’re all adults. Let keep the subject relevant and discuss the wider and more important issues that make us rich.
Correct Aspers - come on guys - plenty of traders/investors have made errors, I have made loads and I have been doing this for more than 30 years - the key is to get more buys/sells correct than incorrect which I have been fortunate to do - it's Christmas time, the season of good will so let's just move on from the personal insults and concentrate on SGC going forward
And ultimately a good night's sleep..... Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
CHRI55 I like trawling through your posts as it gives me a good laugh.
Happy Christmas Chri55. I am sure the guys all have lives to live. Just probably fed up with hearing how folk have constantly bought at the bottom and sold at the top. Spend a little but more time on your invest Plans rather than bragging how well you have done and who knows you may even do better.
In the meantime us average investors will just plod on listening to what good advice that may come along.
I cant say much I am taking a battering with BOO as well, serious though a sale of 1.5 million shares went through Friday at 2pm,must of been a fund buying
go easy on Chri55 guys, hes just took a right doing at BOO! His post on BOO BB a week ago,
"im in at 155p. You'll just know this will bounce big style soon... GLA"
104 today and still dropping, no luck!
81.5, bit high for Chris, more like he used his out of bounds channels and got them for 78.5. Its laughable.
I am sure Chri55 will be back later telling us that he picked up another 10k at 81.5 first thing today.
This share has done me well again, and as I’m already in NEX as well, decided to take profit after lunch, and will look for other opportunities, as they arise. GLA invested.
CHRI55 has just bought 1,500000 shares at 1400
Rotation going on atm from tech stocks to value due to inflation and interest rate rises down the pipe - SGC fits into that category and let's face it the value through synergies between SGC and NEX has not yet played out yet - I am holding until this gets north of 1 pound which should hopefully be pdq - gla dyor etc
If the share price drops he will be back.
I don't understand what folk like him take from all this. Their comments won't influence the SP and they won't tell you when they call things wrong.
I'd like to know why the sudden jump today. Not complaining.
At least Chri55 cannot keep bragging that he has sold at the top now. Probably away boring the pants off some other poor investors with his normal drivel.
WHERES BITTER CHRI55
Aspers,
Day-traders are the bane of these boards. They share precious little accurate research and provide lots of opinionated nonsense.
Seeing Machines has done well but share price has barely reacted, which is an opportunity imho. As a reminder, read this today from Safestocks: www.safestocks.co.uk
Have a Merry Christmas guys and gals.
Aspers, well done, good timing
Todays win for Seeing Machines is VW Group, so 10% of the global car market in one win, Tier One partner is Magna, who recently invested $10m in SEE at 11p. One can still buy below the Magna entry point today, believe it or not
