Some encouraging news on the Premium/Standard listing reforms, couple of updates by the FCA this year which is definitely a step change for these guys.
Consultation closed on 22nd March 24, that's it, we now await final publication with implementation shortly afterwards this summer.
Realistically it could be from May onwards, given the exodus of companies I would expect sooner rather than later.

Both S4 and THG should benefit from inclusion in the main FTSE indexes, UK trackers and regular funds will be able to buy should they wish to do so.
Agreed no need for divi ...buy backs much better ...."it's a screaming no brainer" - Hope everyone has a good but windy weekend !!
"or a recommendation to vote on a small divi"
I hope that S4 don't pay a dividend, I would be happy if all spare cash was to be used to buy back shares. S4 issued shares for M&A mostly @420p, buy them back today @52p. It's a screaming no brainer. All shareholders would benefit. S4 need to get the the share price back to 420p so that S4 can restart M&A for further growth. IMO.
Whilst holding a much smaller amount ....I concur with the same price ....4.20....Some serious weight holding .....I am at the Zoo also ....
Have a brill weekend all.
Sounds good, and markets were always likely to be a bit muted today as the tax year closes (for those outside tax efficient wrappers)
And the reverse is true, perhaps, on Monday as the keen fill their new ISAs
I can't think of many better places to stick a wedge of cash than S4
- massive reduction in cost due to payments completed for mergers
- lower staff numbers leading to reduced salary bill
My 2c it doesn't matter if sales drop a few % as the costs have dropped off a cliff.
shhh, can you hear the sound of profitable trading happening?
definitely won't be suprised to see another buy back mid may after Q1 RNS (possibly sooner)
or a recommendation to vote on a small divi
US Jobs report red hot.
Next week new ISA year so this should pick up. I might add more today.
Have 2.150,000 now.. my first sell will be at 4.20
1msn, just out of interest do you still own 2m shares, or did you cash some in after last weeks 26% rise?
Trades not getting reported... i just bought 150k in shares and not one buy is shown
Not today sadly
Thought we might get a run up to 70 but looking like it’s run out of steam again?
This moves when America open
226 k shares 120k money
On the Bell
Hasn't happened yet but very much looks like this will happen and quite soon too.
It could be the catalyst the UK market needs to give it a boost over US which by comparison is expensive, raising finance here for buyout would also be cheaper adding to the equation..
Fed today pulling in expectations of early cuts has spooked the market ..
*65/70p in few weeks from next Monday possible in new Tax Year.
Pick up in many good companies including here as Tax Year closes tomorrow and new starts for buying shares on Monday. So looking at 65/70p next week.
So adding as much in this tax year. Good to see some opportunity given to add near 52p.
IMO only.
"96p by Mid May certainly a good possibility ...."
I don't think so, not unless there's a takeover bid. I hope that I'm wrong.
96p by year end, may be, depending on results and future outlook.
Why is the price to buy 53.6 and the price to sell 53.90?
96p by Mid May certainly a good possibility ....
Still room for passengers if they get a ticket !
55.45 +4p 7.77%
Still a lot of value at these levels... Train is leaving the station
55.35
