Another clueless wonder.....how can you compare cloutag to Sepura? I Global business that have been selling quality products for years versus a fraudulent shell AIM company that has no product? Idiot!
Gone for Easter break
According to the report, the system was working when it was commissioned but issues were with newly discovered bad signal areas. According to SEPU, it's a 100% SEPU infrastructure (Nebula), and everything (SCADA etc) runs through it: http://www.transport.sepura.com/resources/global-references/nottingham-tramway/ Still waiting for BEIS or whatever they call themselves today to decide if they're minded to hurry up with their takeover investigation, or not.
Large buys all of a sudden ????
HOW ON EARTH, sepura has to do anything with this>?? if there was bad reception then it would have been due to bad network coverage(i guess Motorola infrastructure) and how on earth bad quality hytera tetra radios (worst receiver sensitivity , software problems etc etc) OR infrastructure could have done better?? sepura radios (from experience) is top class in terms of radio reception and audio quality...
If radio precedures are followed correctly, then no need for error, a bad workman always blames his tools .
A recent RAIB report about the death of a pedestrian on the Nottingham tram system mentions TETRA as not working correctly at the time, and critical messages not being transferred. Apparently the tram ops are in contact with SEPU to roll some heads. See here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-39502947 and here: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/606268/R062017_170405_David_Lane.pdf Maybe Hytera would do a better job?
not come to a conclusion as yet? been going on for months now, glad I sold up
It seems I've understood it wrong. Thanks for the clarification.
Must be a secondary company of hendersons
Same as the transfer on vrs share
NO. You better read that RNS again, and then the one from 08:08AM. What occurred was a transfer of accounts managed on a discretionary basis by Henderson Group Plc to Lombard Odier Investment Managers group.
Henderson's just dumped 7% of their holdings. It would be wise to follow the smart money.
Think this could go lower yet , good luck all
I also noticed that the SP twitched up to 15p when the Spanish/German authorities decided it was under the limit for investigation, then fell down again when the UK Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy stepped in. Maybe the UK government has been watching the situation and has stuck a foot in the door to delay a takeover. And let's face it, do they want their blue-light services communications run by China? I am surprised Nokia have not investigated Sepura, because Nokia have similar quality standards and are looking for a way to recover after being bought and discarded by Microsoft.
Bernie, I know how you feel. But even if it were left alone to grow from 13.33 to 20.00, that would be 50% and I imagine that would take several years. So it might be a good deal to take the 20p and invest it elsewhere and get growth on top of that for those several years. After betting on a horse that collapses, human emotion is to scream at the nag to get up and win back lost money instead of transferring the wager to another horse.
Yes
I sold out here back in Jan still like the company but if I buy now and the takeover happens still will I get 20p per share?
Chesh we will have to agree to disagree on the other buddy, it's burnt me right out, i cannot find anything to be optimistic about at all, I will stay away i promise, The less i think about it the better. As for SEPU mmmm i did have an average of 21.5p i have now brought that as far down as i care to, If this deal goes through i've made some money, if it doesn't money's tied up a while longer but for much bigger gains in the long run i think. Boy has this dragged out, I was in here just before the drop from 50pish, (was watching from 70 odd p) 6months of education here for me. Its taught me a lot so i'm staying if only to hear the fat lady, I've made what i have in here elsewhere so i look at it as both free and gone. btw Chesh thanks, but no need for the apology, I really had thought no more of it. GL. Firwood
I suspect we're due one soon, which might be interesting. Last year it looks like they put one out on 4th April. With the interims they gave guidance for FY17 of: Revenue: Euro 125 million to Euro 135 million Profitability: improved profitability in H2 (vs H1) If they are broadly within that guidance then they might be able to get away without a TU for a while, but if the outcome is now expected to have been significantly different then I don't think they'll have much choice.
Hey Firwood, Good job I didn't filter you! we on the same wave length on this one, All the best (apologies for yesterday)
Been my wish for a while now bud. GL. Firwood
Thank you 1GW & Canard. Makes a bit more sense now, but really do wish this saga would end soon.
I second that opinion, I would rather have SEPU stand on its own feet than to make further concessions Hytera. It's a case of do or die.
To be honest I have now reached the conclusion that I wish Hytera would **** off and let Sepura run it's course and work their way out of their cash problems. The shares will drop I know but they will then climb back up in line with company progress.
