Davey, it's not that complicated:
1. The business appears to be viable. If the company's forecasts are to be believed, there is a clear route to quite significant profitability. The problem is it has run of cash before getting there. The kind of businesses that go into admin more generally are those which are unviable - i.e. there's no clear route to profitability.
2. Even if the company goes into administration , the assets could well be worth more than the liabilities. The only creditors are trade creditors. The company has (1) a small amount of cash (2) trade receivables (3) inventory (4) patented IP, some of which is licensed to ConMet and projected to bring in $20m over the next 6 years (5) plant and machinery and (6) a 49% stake in Saietta VNA. Without knowing all the details I'd say there's a decent chance those could be sold for more than the debts.
Have you people nothing better to do ?? It’s the weekend , who gives a sh it . In or out we’ve made our choice regardless of what any one says . It’s either bust or will live to fight another day , zero or a healthy gain end of .
So come on Jrl lets hear from you why Sed is worth buying then ?
Internet trading from day 1
Telephone trading before that
To check prices we had to use Ceefax, they had one page where the top 5 % gainers and fallers was updated every minute but if you were not on that and a penny share you had midday for a update and midnight for closing price no kidding. So you had no idea if your shares had spiked and dropped back or vice versa during the day unless they appeared on that top list but only room for 5 stocks not 30 now
Oh and you posted on March 1st you’d been in the game 30 years, yet today you said almost 25 🤷♂️ come on stick to the script for gods sake
Blah blah blah! You are still posting about a share you have no interest in. Still very sad 🤫
I've posted on share forums from day 1 almost 25 years ago and seen all the games, all the abuse, all the reverse psychology played by rampers "ah you are sad" etc etc but lets see if anybody can actually say while fundamentally why this business or shares are actually worth buying, I'll be amazed if I get one decent reply by the end of the weekend
Davey hope you shorted AVCT rather than bought in
Posting on a share you don’t own, bit sad eh 🤫
Well come on then, tell us all how SED can survive ?
I assume you have read the full year results and interims, so how can they survive without a massive injection of funds and what price in this market would that be at if a miracle happens when other stocks are raising at massive discounts.
"biggest ramper on LSE" lol...oh yeah I jump from stock to stock ramping crap..I hold most of my stocks long term and most of them make money and have sound balance sheets hence they do not get into a mess. I find it fascinating how now people just want a instant profit which means they usually pump the worst stocks and most in trouble. Times have certainly changed. The new young brigade that do not care about fundamentals, probably cannot read them anyway. No wonder cyrpto is flying because it's all a con a total fugazi..anyway lets await the SED replies on the business?
Hope Neill OK. He did promise to be here at 4:45 yesterday evening to gloat.
I don't think you have helped improve these forums, either, davey50!
Davey50 - pot kettle biggest ramper on LSE. As for Nicname and Neill they sound desperate for the price not to rise. One can only speculate why.
If it was all over why didn’t they suspend on Friday?
Sharebel you post some absolute ramping tosh.
6 month results a whopping £6.5 mil loss and just £0.5 mil cash left. Even if somebody gave them some cash it will still go bust a few months later. 2024 is the year that hundreds of stocks that have no real chance of making money or just have took the mick for years with placings to line managements pockets go under. Just a shame that all the pump and dumpers never get left holding the baby too, always a few silly billies chasing spikes.
Loads of companies doing well out there really cheap but for some reason now in this game people only want to chase the stocks in the most serious trouble...baffles me...but the forums are the worst I've ever seen ..25 years almost now and worse than ever people pumping worthless stocks everywhere
Good post JPP. The only thing I'd highlight is that for some reason everybody seems to be ignoring the bit in the rns where the company has said that cash receipts may not happen in March as expected given the current situation and hence the need to fund a solution by end of this week.
The only thing that worries me is the potential for somebody to allow the company to go into administration only to pick it up for a pittance after it has gone into administration.
Interesting this chap NicName posting many days in a row all negative bluster on repeat, often every few minutes then we see he’s managed this nugget of a post at 1.00am in the morning! So I’m thinking he’s very worried in fact so worried he’s taken the time and effort to copy and paste reasonable comments from other people who have weighed up the options and decided to buy here. Has he got a short open and thought it’d all go away? Is he a paid poster with an agenda because the volume of posts on this stock isn’t normal for anybody who’s position is he wants to not be in here. Or maybe he does but wasn’t anticipating the price to go up on Friday! I’ve averaged up now from the bottom and I’m happy to see how this plays out and if it’s played with again on Monday I’ll be happy to up my risk versus reward strategy here. The gains on balance are too tempting to deny! IMHO DYOR
But naughty of the MMs between 3.30 and 4.30 on Friday. I thought there job was to create a fair market to trade on? Looks like they just destroyed the spread to deter traders entering or exiting in that last hour.
Anyway, I am one of the lucky (or unlucky) ones to have bought on Thursday afternoon at .30p
As others have said, I just don't think we see an immediate suspension here. The previous RNS alluded to a cash runway til the end of March, meaning theoretically we have another 4 weeks until the lights off.
But then the wording of the RNS was odd. Cash reserves to last until the end of March, but will need funding/buyout before the end of February.
I suppose it's prudent to give yourself a months grace in these kind of situations... I just don't see a Monday morning 7am suspension RNS.
More likely (in my eyes) is a confirmation that further funding or takeover offer have not been completed, but discussions are advancing.
Either that or we get a mega RNS that sees the SP increased by many multiples. Wishful thinking, but you just never know.
In the last few days we've had Amati and Mole Valley sell 4% of the company back to the market, and Dean Stevens buy nearly 6%. Dean bought those shares at around .50p over the course of 11 separate transactions - clearly a very focused effort and likely represents a £40k investment. Since he bought those shares, the SP has only really moved north pretty consistently - I can say with some certainly that I don't think he's resold those shares back to the market and still holds.
Dean is a wealth manager and has connections to St James Place. What does he know that we do not? I'm fairly sure he will have friends in all the right places....
Hope it all works out for all holder’s, you all know it’s a very high risk.
Nobody wants to see anyone lose all, but that is possible here.

Should the Company not have made material progress with its formal sale process or with any other financing initiatives by the end of next week, the Company may need to commence planning for an administration. A further announcement will be made in due course.
That’s why Neil is concerned about anyone holding as major holders have bailed.
Good luck next week and hope something comes in and saves the company. Last post here, atb
Lovin' the latest tosh! Naive writers desperately seeking naiver readers to draw into the vortex.
Dacintakkos: " Vic is coming for this, expect an announcement at 4pm that Verto Ago BV is in advanced discussions with Saietta " " Vic was very upset that he got booted out and wasn't able to be involved in running the company into the ground with the other jokers. Now he's coming back for saietta and tony gott with a vengeance "
Sharebel: " If they’ve got enough money until the end of March 24 as in RNS then they would not be forced into administration voluntarily or otherwise so why is everyone getting panicked for Monday. "
jimmy2011 " p.s. i took another 500000. " " Sharemeister, im with you , its a build and stay cool situation, this will multi bag, as assets, patant, are worth x3 of m/k cap bring on next week. "
sharemeister: " Sharebel: you are a rock of sense! No need to panic, a deal will be done eventually. As the fixed assets alone are worth many multiples of the SP, I would advise all to calm down, hold your shares & your nerve, and await interesting developments, and hopefully Quids in for all who hold their nerve. This will be picked up .... and soon. "
Erebus55: "Interesting just after 14:30jrs today. MMs drop SP by over 30% whilst non stop negativity and abuse from Neil777 and fellow MM employees. Oddly they had all but disappeared by 15:00hrs. To be fair at £1 a post Neil has done well today."
BarryBrisco - Help yourself to a free bag.
Latino you will write any old tosh for the latest ramp. No doubt when this is suspended and insolvent you will be nowhere to be seen. The pumping on this stock is shocking. Ask yourselves how is a stock at this price going to raise multiple millions with mega dilution. It's not going to happen. If they wanted say £10 mil I'd guess 0.1p best
Who knows?
Get Neil to take one , are inside man in the job :)
I think it's interesting that Saietta have a few job vacancies on their website....
With a 69% profit today….. let’s see what next week brings, hopefully profit for all.
Enjoy the weekend. Gla
