take the BioNtech ...
Lindy has confirmed ........... "we have a working CD4 t cell that has been transfected"
they publish ......... Avidmab 2811
this Mab ... selectively picks out of patients blood the most efficacious and strongest CD4 t cell to transfect with a moditope TCR
tell me what do you need to Know ............. ?
Scancell holds Two patents ..... over the possible Commercial aspects of the collaboration with BioNtech and judging by the response rates of BioNtech/Roche deal ... maybe Scancell is streets ahead over vaccine development as well, thus its input into this collaboration maybe far higher than we first thought ... that is called "Value Added"
£25m market Cap v £150b combined ...
lots going on .
Inan,
“ This bandwagon roll that scancell are not updating the market in my mind is false”
The lack of news is not a matter of opinion but rather a matter of fact. No one is denying that there have in the past been updates as you highlight in your last post. The important element you (once again) omit is TIME.
The last update on the Covid situation as 1st May about the 25% salary cut
The last update on Covidity was 24th April
The last update on SCIB1 trial was 3rd February- BEFORE lock down.
The shareholder revolt is a figment of your overactive imagination.
We are merely discussing what many of us consider extremely poor performance in the area of investor relations/communication/PR.
update ........ FDA resolved
Update ........ Modi1 issues resolved
Update building Covid vaccine
Update Homecitrulline added
Update Avidmab added
Update Diggles added after in depth Due Diligence including a full report from an external leading Prof.
Research papers presented ...
effects on SP ........... zero
tell me what news would you like ... as little affects the SP
Surely they can update in the way boom means.... why they don't could be something else as in if they know something is coming why bother though longer that goes on more we doubt and feel... unloved :)
Berm,............."" and they clearly feel that they don't need to update shareholders at the moment."" My point really is perhaps they simply can"t.
I'm not talking about detailed information, just a high level overview but I accept that there may be good reasons for their silence and they clearly feel that they don't need to update shareholders at the moment.
"""""An update that shows they're in control and proactively managing their way through this crisis would be positive and demonstrate that Scancell value their shareholders enough to bother keeping them informed. IMO.""""
yes they are developing a Vaccine for Covid ................. I don't think you can better that for "proactively managing the Virus"
however what i would say ....... Nobody knows .. The first wave of Covid came through at the Tail end of winter, it seems its still very transmissible in summer, we have no idea of its potential in a European winter, as the outside life returns to the inside life from Nov and we then add in Flu etc ??? ..but a hint is what is going on around the planet ...not looking great is it
how can you present a rationale time frame for instance trials in that environment ?
This bandwagon roll that scancell are not updating the market in my mind is false and I suspect trying to Gel shareholders who maybe under water to get a bit more rebellious with these constant negatives is maybe achieving the aim of some to lower the SP ....
IMHO ...
Crumbs, that was my suggestion yesterday after considering we have lost the momentum of COVIDITY for now in an effort to increase the M/Cap.
It fits, but again we highlight the negative aspects of uncertainty in a share, where any number of scenarios, mostly negative are possible.
The worst reason would be they are really struggling to even to pull off a successful raising ... Well it may be they can't get enough to run trials but they always have managed keep the lights on raising.... So could it be back to original idea of doa raising on back of very good news i.e first Avidimab deal.... hopefully that is it... As ever we only know when we do and they know much more than us on how likely any good coming news is.... just have to go back to being patient
Bermuda,
Thanks again, it was the absence of any such RNS that led me to feel a raising would occur sooner than later. A demonstration that we had the funding to take the earliest opportunities to get back into trials would have shown to me our commitment to returning to timelines A.S.AP.
Like all of us been thinking long and hard over this, there must be a reason IMHO
Chelsea/Dick,
Just noticed a couple of posts to me that I missed last night.
Chelsea - My point is that the negatives are already out there, we know there's a pandemic, we know cancer diagnosis, treatment and clinical trials have been severely impacted, labs have been shut etc.etc. So we already have the negatives but they're compounded by uncertainly because we're guessing about their impact. An update that shows they're in control and proactively managing their way through this crisis would be positive and demonstrate that Scancell value their shareholders enough to bother keeping them informed. IMO.
Dracula - I assume/hope the next bit of news will be around funding for the COVID vaccine. The great thing about bios though is anything could come completely out of the blue.
Ruck,
I have dehydration!!!
Night Guys
C7,
Having been invested since 2012 it’s a good job I’m not that thirsty lol!
Bermuda,
Couldn"t find the words earlier but yes the type of RNS you posted on the face of it seems more than reasonable.
I think where I am coming from is in this AIM market where everything further than a few weeks later does not satisfy the thirst for instant riches can be taken as negative easily. Just perhaps what you would have wanted to have heard could have easily been taken as negative news?? Your thoughts, but that is why I say it is very difficult for Scancell in a situation where there are no definitive timelines to guide us by.
