oleric, firstly, you should take discussion boards with a pinch salt. If you invest your money because of information on here, you are a fool. You have decided to sell and good for you, you feel better, everybody invests differently. Coming on here complaining about where all the experts have gone just sounds emotional and bitter, no point to it, there are no experts, just investors with different views.
Good luck to you too.
"Where have all the pseudo experts gone? They were rude and dismissive to anyone with an alternative view"
"Now we have a new lot who appear out of the woodwork telling us how cheap the share is and of course the endless topping up."
Nice to call the old council house dwelling brigade "rude" whilst referring to the new interested investors as "the new lot" which actually sounds quite rude too.
Anyhow....I ain't professing to be an expert but I suppose I am part of the "new lot". If a share is sinking there should be concern as to why. The fact is we are all speculating and there is nothing wrong with building a position in a company that you think will be around for a while and you want to be part of the journey is there?
I understand only too well if you have been carrying a poorly performing share on your back there will be a sense of relief when they are finally gone....even if you had to take a hit when you offloaded them.
Along with the sense of relief however there will always be that nagging feeling of doubt and uncertainty that the stock may turn upwards again and if it does should you not have shown a bit more patience. You are obviously having these feelings as you are considering taking up another position.
Time will tell where we get to with this stock. Plenty of capital, plenty of time and patience along with picking the right company to back is usually a good winning formula.
Like any board, the ‘experts’ disappear when the price is low, of course they don’t want to look daft. It’s just the same as the derampers disappearing when prices rocket. Skinbiotherapeutics share price moved from 32p to 51.5p between the end of Jan and three weeks later in Feb. 6% drop is par for the course here. This is not Tesco or Direct Line, the risks and rewards here are far greater. I for one trust the company to provide the reward within the next couple of years. If a paper loss weighs heavy upon your soul, chalk it up to experience and invest in less volatile companies. You must have been enthused to invest at 50p or 60p or even 70p. This is exactly the same company, same management, same science. The market may think there is better places right now to put its money, but loyal holders will reap the rewards when the market rushes back because of any good news. There are investors here that bought at 5p when covid struck and Skinbio wasn’t a hot topic. Those investments 15 bagged in a little over a year when the company released good news. Those investors wouldn’t have experienced such success if they hadn’t bought shares at a time like now, when they knew the value was there but the rest of the market didn’t want to know.
Where have all the pseudo experts gone?..buying shares in 100000s,constantly topping up as the price plummeted...delighted at the low price so they could buy more...giving us Einstein like complex mathematical formulae showing exponential sales in the USA!!...showing impressive expertise in the study of the microbiome...on first name terms with board members...snippets of information about wonderful sales and so on and so on.
Well they have gone!! Gone back to their council house bedrooms everyone because they don't want to revel in non existent glory anymore.
They were rude and dismissive to anyone with an alternative view, anyone who warned of the risk, anyone who questioned the idiotic sale numbers.
Now we have a new lot who appear out of the woodwork telling us how cheap the share is and of course the endless topping up.
Well! we all do what we want but selling at a loss took a weight off my shoulders and others should have a think about it and not take into account the utter drivel written on here.Like the rest of you I have no factual idea what is happening here but the share price is telling everything and its very concerning.
I constantly look to see if I should get back in but all I see is grey skies. Those who are certain of a massive recovery I hope you are correct and wish you well but today's price tells me the recovery aint coming this week and I predict it suggests some not so good news may be on the way.
Good luck guys but take care out there and keep your senses on high alert.
