Yes Tl mine are now showing too, as tradable stock.
Been a long old slog.
The CGO shares have finally landed in my HL accounts
rg , still nothing
For what it's worth, I did receive shares recently. They turned up in my Standard Bank trading account. So they have been issued, that's for sure. I think the problem isn't with CGH but with your providers. They're non Tradable though, according to Standard Bank there's a corporate event?? Not sure what that means? But that's part 2 still to come.
Has anyone heard anything from HL yet?
Nimba Iron ore in Guinea, why I originally invested in this POS and the main reason we ended up moving off AIM, because of the bad PR.
That still has to be worth a few $M. But I'm with you, I think they will steal this asset and sell it privately after they dissolve CGH soon.
I'm getting the same BS replies with no information.
I said it right from the start that they'd make it as hard as possible to realise what was owed to us.
I'm now curious to know what other assets they were holding no matter how small, cause i bet they add up to a handsome payout for the crooks
Thank you for your message.
I can appreciate that this situation is very frustrating. The dematerialisation of share certificates is a complicated process that takes time.
I can assure you that we are working hard to resolve this situation as soon as possible and will notify you when the process is complete.
Nope not yet with HL
Afraid not, we’re still waiting on HL & Avenir sorting out the mess.
Has everyone received their shares now?
Well, we’ll, 14th September - 7th October to get any response, received yesterday:
Dear Mr ****
I'm writing further to the complaint you raised with us recently.
A member of our Client Services team is reviewing your complaint. We're working hard to provide you with a response, and we hope that it won't be too much longer until one is available.

And still nowt !!!!
Thank you for your email and apologies to hear that you are disappointed with our service.
Unfortunately, the share certificates are still in the process of being dematerialised. We are hoping that the dematerialisation of Contango shares will complete shortly.
I can assure you we are in frequent contact with Crest, the UK Settlement System, and are treating this as a matter of priority.
Apologies for the time this is taking. We will update clients’ accounts accordingly as soon as we are able to.
If you have any other questions, please get back to me.
oops *complaint* :-)
Despite their message of 14th September :
“I'm sorry that the level of service you have received has not met your expectations and means you have had to make a complaint. This complaint will be handled by our client services team. My message today is a separate message to keep you informed about your shares”
HL have made no contact whatsoever. Compliant about the compliant department? :-(
stinks , no update from HL
Barclays update state that Avenir Registrars confirmed the acceptance of the Indemnity Notice on 23/09 and are reviewing. No indication of the timing of this review given. Assuming they issue a replacement certificate it will still have to be converted to electronic through CREST so I would imagine we are still weeks away ......
yes another week gone , and SFA from HL either
unbelievable..... yet unsurprising at the same time.
Barclays have made no progress. They apparantly have had to sign an Indemnity Notice which was sent by tracked mail 2 weeks ago. From what I can find out these are required for "lost certificates". See :- https://www.shareregistrars.uk.com/media/5cyb3lx0/letter-of-indemnity.pdf That just seems to add a little more confusion to the situation . The Registrars are still to respond ,,,,,,
and now CGO jumping 16%
Well done RG. They don't like it up 'em!
Good Morning ,
I wish to make a complaint regards your handling of issues of Contango shares in lieu of CGH shares .For the last 2 months investors have been putting you in the picture regards what is happening , sadly HL are so far behind the drag curve its unreal. loads of messages with a wide range of replies , why?
Why are shareholders using Interactive investors able to deal since Friday , and our shares in fund and share accounts aren't , Poor service nothing more
RG well done, hopefully rattled a cage or two, Micky
Think I may have shaken a tree, look what fell out, HL’s response to my earlier “secure message”:
Dear Mr ****
I apologise that in answer to your initial query you were given incorrect information from one of our colleagues stating that we had not been notified of Consolidated Growth Holdings Ltd plans to distribute its entire share interest in Contango Holdings Plc to shareholders.
Consolidated Growth Holdings Ltd contacted us on 10 June 2022 to say that share certificates in Contango were due to be issued. These shares certificates (registered in the name of Hargreaves Lansdown, not the names of underlying beneficial shareholders) were posted to us on 27 July by Royal mail 48 hour tracked delivery. They were sent by Avenir Registrars (who are the registrar for Contango) and received in our office on 2 August 2022.
Because Contango Holdings plc shares are traded on the London Stock Exchange we immediately began the process to lodge the chare certificates into CREST (the UK depository for non-physical shares) to allow you to be able to trade your shares. Despite following our usual process for dematerialising certificates there have been delays. We are now actively chasing Avenir Registrars to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We will write to shareholders once the process is complete so that you'll know once your stock is ready to trade.
I'm sorry that the level of service you have received has not met your expectations and means you have had to make a complaint. This complaint will be handled by our client services team. My message today is a separate message to keep you informed about your shares.
I trust the above is in order. Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to reply to this message.
Kind regards,
Ellie Nethercott
