Well done Cjhammer!
Your timing was perfect and although I joked about wishing us all well I do love it when people manage to sell at a peak and beat the system.
So the question is…. have you bought back in?
Hi Banbury, yeah York OK, but the thought of drink at the moment......-got battered in Ross on Wye last night....ouch.
There was an almost identical trade yesterday for the same amount. That particular trade is 15 grand down already but they won’t be remotely bothered because trades that size are investments not punts. Be interesting to see if the same happens tomorrow.

Give me a chance to get new teeth, don't want to ruin the photo with big beaming smiles :-)
You need a venue that can handle Zimmer frames. It's Saga after all.
I’m hanging around with Millionaire if we do, imagine the female attention he’ll be getting.
1 request if we do meet. Can we only call ourselves by our ‘handle names’ lol
York good for me and I’m in. What about arranging at 5.85?
Yes, a lot of news will come soon, and looks most positive. Hope send saga share price to above 500p soon.
York sounds like a good idea. Nice town on the rail main line and most importantly, plenty of good watering holes.
Thanks Culco
Its on my bucket list to meet as many long termers as I can at the to be determined (£7 ?) party. i think it would be brilliant. Hard to find a venue to suit all but we are heavily in the North East and Yorks so i had thought meet York station and decamp to nearby pub ?. Maybe even travel down from Newcastle together !
This has been one hell of a ride and we have all spoken for ages now.
Anyone know of any similer LSE meeting / party ? Anyone been to one ? And have any feedback ?
Stage one is who is in and up for it ? Views on York or better alternatives ?What price triggers the party.
Happy to co-ordinate responses so we can firm up on numbers, venue and party price.
Banbury
Fortune favours the bold Banbury, good story. You burned your ships! Great to see that kind of conviction.
Love to share my story also, but I try not to share too much publicly. Maybe one day over a few beers Banbury / Roxy.
Sold a few around 400 of the 14,000 or so i hold . Bit scary being all in on one share.
Might sell a few but my exit is circa £7, which i do think is possible short term if travel resumes uninterupted.
After that keen on diversifying !! Think IMB has a great dividend and is cash generative, still value capital gains and DIv 's in house builders, and quite like Lloyds which has a huge capital buffer and i think will late next year pay 5p dividends. an 11% yield on todays price. Keep also looking at MEARS facitliies management on housing - there cash position is very strong - just working through the business model. Hopefully build a nice little portfolio to supplement various pensions and it will all be courtesy of Saga.
In case we forget at the current price RDH is £70m up on his £100m investment - nice work.
Ye interesting game Roxy. Hope Monday brings positive news could be yet another spring up.
Seems the market building good momentum in saga. More
confidence attracting more buyers.
Didn’t fancy sticking around for Monday’s announcement CJ?
Last time saga rallied hard. Best of luck.
It’s a bit like that game Tipping point on TV when loads of counters fall off the ledge and the other contestant congratulates them with gritted teeth but really wants to stab them. Ha ha
No you don’t! Ha ha
I can’t be the only one when selling out of a share that hopes it crashes and burns 10 minutes after selling can I?
Like Beach I sold a chunk of mine last week and even though I have still got quadzillions of these slightly disappointed at the sudden rise. Lol
Funny game this isn’t it.
I wish you all health and good fortune for the future , I hope you achieve your £6 £8 and £10 targets.
