Every interval during the past 5 years the trend is down. The ramping is ridiculous.
on minimal volume, nowhere near NAV still, looking very good atm, much more to come IMHO. GLA
Good start to the day here! 8.8% up currently... ticking up on very little volume... GLA
As i said yesterday the interims are due in about 5-6weeks according to Hemscott, i can't see NAV falling much IMO if at all, if it does i would like to think high 50's is the lowest. At high 50's we are still trading way below NAV and now the commercial property market is starting to look a little brighter i am more than happy being in at the bottom, i think that with a little market awareness the sp could potentially double from this level which still leaves it nowhere near NAV and then as the market continues to grow once again the sp will grow with it. All IMHO. GL
the fact that the accounts for SAF have only been updated till 30th March remains a splinter in the mind and an area of concern. most commercial property shares have not even risen past half their net asset value because the market is still very cautious. at 63p NAV on 30th march, it could drop to 40p NAV as of 30th sept where current share price is already half of the NAV. i think an upturn will only come early next year because FTSE is on the brink of a retrace anyway... but all in my honest opinion. for an undervalued share with more updated statement of financial account, see TSW, updated till 30th june. 75% undervalued and their industry has seen the bottom. but do your own research and all. among those i have on my watchlist, most companies have updated their figures as of mid 2009, except SAF.
Interims are in 5-6weeks so will be interesting to see any change on NAV. I feel that now is the perfect time to buy in as this is the lowest point we will see. Things are starting to look up on the commercial property market and that should reflect in the sp in time, with NAV so much more than current market cap we should see a good increase in sp with a bit of market realisation. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB125621875378401217.html?mod=googlenews_wsj
first spotted this in february and have been watching again since august when there was a very small tick up for commercial property. the year end report is only updated till 31st march 2009 and the NAV per share was 63p at that time. value of commercial property value continued dropping in april, may, june and july. the next report will be half year 30th september and you can be sure NAV will decline further due to impairment charges. this means NAV per share is effectively not 63p anymore now but lower. advise to wait for that report as we won't know how much is being impaired till we see that report. now is not the right time to buy in as there is further impairment to be charged.
MM's extremely low on stock! Impossible to buy online with Halifax atm... Can sell for 16.11p... with just a few buys now they will have to raise the sp! GLA
Good to see a little tick up here, volumes picking up as well... next week could be a very good week with a bit more interest... there is only so much volume the MM's can put through before hiking to price up as there are so little shares in free float. GLA
'With the continued support of the banks and our professional team, we consider that Safeland is well positioned to take full advantage of any improvement in market conditions as and when they may occur, whilst also assessing opportunities in other areas that have the potential to improve the Company. I therefore, remain optimistic for the long term future.'
volume pass through here today! A 10k buy is already in this morning... hugely undervalued, just needs market realisation... 63p NAV! GLA
Strong buy rating from Hemscott: http://www.hemscott.com/companies/company-summary.do?companyId=1916
I have bought in today, trades have been going through plus. You can buy @ 16.9p so spread is alot lower than shown. Look at the recent results NAV is around £10.6Mill and current market cap is £2.6Mill, steal at this price IMO. GLA
...but the spread is off-putting and it's been as wide as 40% earlier this year.
have you bought some are you going to or are you going to wait for a drop? no trading since 30 sep? Enlighten me. this has a buy recommenedation too.
I will stick this on my watchlist, cheers..
NAV is 4 times current sp... property stocks been moving well of late and this could fly with a bit of market awareness... not alot of shares in issue and only about 30% in public hands! Keep an eye on it... GLA
