Duster I’m patient .... only because I’ve been forced in to getting that quality. It’s hard to be patient in this type of market where many are being put to the sword and if it’s not a profit warning then production issues and if non of them then SFO investigations lol. I wouldn’t mind a quick buck or £23-24 by new year and that’s just being honest but I’ve got a feeling that this is a golden goose that will keep laying them eggs.
I was looking at Faroe p which got bought by DNO for about £681m , they had low production and ok reserves with capacity to increase over the years towards 40-50k bopd. Debt free.
I think RRE can easily become a £600-700m company either organically or through acquisitions that could take its mc to over £1b. Question is with only 8m free float shares in issue what share price predictions does the future hold.
Muchyboy
Personaly I see a large aquisition in q1 may be centricas 69% of spirit with a suspension in q1 and a return to trading q3 4
Have you got the patience or just 1 more impatient quick buck merchant??
However I wouldn’t be happy with a buy back when AA looks to be in every data room with its door open, looking to treble the size of our company.
Like some on here have said AA has a lot of shares and has ruled out a buy back and white wash.
Do some research it helps.
Whitewash Resolution is a proposed resolution for the waiver of rights of independent shareholders to receive a mandatory takeover from the Undertaking Shareholders and its concert parties for the ordinary shares of the company not already owned or controlled by them.
Ahh Ricky beat me to it
He can go over 30% whitewash etc with permission ...
AA would have to make an offer if he does a buy back mate
AA has 27% himself and buy backs would take him over the crucial level of 30% whereby he has to table an offer to buy the whole Co - that’s why he won’t buy more back
Duster, you seem to know everything on here. Luck counts has a point , although AA saidno buy backs .... is he not allowed to charge his mind ??? Is it set in stone ? I think some of you guys on here just need to calm down and back off with the ill feeling you carry towards posts. I think it would actually be quiet shrewd if he bought back shares with only 8m in free float and then also make a medium sized acquisition. Win win situation for all.
AA Has said no more buy backs so forget it not worth a mention. pls do some basic research
About the most sensible thing you've said Munchie. GLA.
Soberman I added 2,000 today at 1710.
Happy to be here. Looking at the timeline I’d be happy for AA to actually do bog all, bring extra production from arran and west Brae online whilst adding to cash so in theory we could be producing 30,000 booed come 2021 with nearly $400-500m in the bank. Kaboooommmm id say
I read with some interest your quirky, verging on hilarious, musings in regards what you feel AA should and shouldn't do. Assuming he actually reads this board for his advice, in which case we'd all best start signing on, do you imagine for one second he would look at your personal considerations and move forward on the basis of them?
Please say you think he would, as that will only add to the enjoyment I'm getting from your assertions.
You'll be advising we buy Ratners next because the jewellery market is undervalued.
AA is going only for producung assets your point is invalid, do some basic research pls
This is why I mentioned my personal preferred route for AA is to swallow 2-3 smaller companies and still be cash king with no debt. Look at all the players out there from Pmo, Enq, and my gosh Tlw.... it’s debt that’s killing them. AA .... don’t try to grow too big too quick ....producing assets are the way forward. Game changer here would be spirit energy but that’s wishful as they are a very big company. Zennor would be a nice fit and maybe some % of producing fields that are on the chopping block. That will do for now.
