All the best to you too mate. You can’t go far wrong by doing the opposite of what I do anyway! Haha! Best regards
Good luck Peaks and all the best never a bad thing to take your profit and run. Personally I'm holding till £1.50, that's always been my target and nothing has changed to make me change my mind. I can't see any significant drop in RSP coming from anywhere the company is solid, well run and generating profit. They have been affected like all others by the crash, but in reality the business and the way they operate was not as significantly affected as other companies. This is one of the most solid shares out there in my opinion. If they reinstate the dividend it will take a leap forward, if they don't it may track back a small amount, but given the fundamental's, I wouldn't see that being as significant as 20%. Even if it does track back slightly it will only increase the buying and start on the road upwards again. Nothing there (that I can see) to suggest anything but a slow and steady recovery to a minimum of £1.20, but hopefully my target of £1.50 before the summer is over.
I do wish you all the best though Peaks and maybe bump into you on another board at some point!
I’m out. Taken profits. I see this moving 20% in either direction over the coming weeks. I don’t fancy it, but I think there’s a good chance it moves to 120 soon, especially with divi reinstated. GL all.
£26.45k at 100.40 it's moving
Hi yrabs, you’ve done better than me, I paid 44p.
Now my old broker used to say “it’s sometimes better to travel than arrive”. But I feel 130p- 140p is possible, with the world starting to spin again.
Staff need to break above the most recent high 74p then I’ll be happier .
Loop, I got in last April 64p was my first purchase, sold some at 234p, but not enough as it happens. Still think the market’s got it wrong.
WSG, it could come good, but it really is a lottery share I’m afraid.
Worked out my total loss on WSG today, and it’s embarrassing :-(
agreed Martyn......... first bought here at 34p...... seems to have offset my wsg disaster by some............ even my LOOP shares are starting a journey towards a quid......... just STAF to go after that !!. B
So quite here, but someone has just paid £1 for 1280 shares.
Been a while since that happened, gla.
It's actually been a little slower than I expected, but were getting there now. Still massively undervalued, in my opinion, £1.50 here we come :) well maybe by summer anyway :)
Wow. Did not expect this movement pre results.
95.1p on the bid, very pleased with today’s move.
From the last trading update:
The Board considers the consensus Adjusted Profit before Tax (PBT) to be the average of existing analysts' forecasts published in the notes of those analysts who regularly follow the Group. For FY-2020 the Adjusted PBT range is £10.0 million to £17.0 million, with an average of £13.3 million.
So news on recent trading & divi will move the price.
I’m not expecting results to be better than anticipated in the update but I can’t see them being any worse. I do think divi is crucial to accelerate the SP though. Fingers firmly crossed for Tuesday. If it does drop I will think about adding even more.
Decent results and a reinstatement of the divi should see us on our way back to £1/1.20 shortly and then hopefully the steady rise will continue! I don't see much downside with RPS at the moment.
Best of luck all
Totally agreed, cracking share with plenty still to come imo
Great share gains before next week’s results, 89.4p on the bid.
Could there be a takeover offer lurking in the background?
One of the few good things from last year, me buying RPS :-)
Some hefty buys today
Still got all mine, and the 9th March to look forward to. B’day is the 10th so a nice forward looking statement would be great.
Still holding mate. Thought it might dip to 75 so trimmed my holding. But it looks like we are set to move towards 100.
Things are looking up again, hopefully the momentum continues. Still very quiet on here as well, I thought we'd have picked up a few more people along the way given the rate of increase in the share price we've seen.
Hope you are all still holding?
Looks like it was a sell then
I've seen you guys mention a takeover previously, what makes you suspect this is the case? I seen the article previously about the rumour, but that was some time ago and I haven't seen anything since, is there further info or is this just a hunch?
Also who do you reckon would be interested in mounting a take over bid with the funds to do so?
If you have any info - Thanks in advance guys!
£1.52 would be a £420m takeout price.
Can’t see a price tag below £400m but I think £470m - £500m too much.
So £1.50 - £1.60 would work.
What do you reckon for takeover. I would say 120 minimum. They probably wouldn’t entertain below 150 though.
I agree on takeover. Would need to be soon if they wanted value though.
I agree.
Position taking before the finals?
Still have a gut feeling regarding a takeover attempt.
Happy to let the story unfold over the next 18 months, but if someone wants to bring forward our payday, who am I to complain.
