Anger you said a few days ago this could reach historic lows so I presume you sold what shares you have and are waiting for the share price to hit the historic lows to buy back in
You ok ollgar. You seem stuck on that one. I wasnt realy sure what was goin on.
I only started posting because I thought something catacylismic was about to happen ......
Darbo,
None of them received a hero's welcome.....lol
Nineteen n-n-n-n-n-ninteen
N-n-n-n-n-ninteen, nineteen..... days of strike action....
Oli
Are you ok mate?
The heaviest striking of the past two weeks
Continued today twenty-five miles northwest of Swindon
I really wasn't sure what was going on
N-n-n-n-nineteen, nineteen
N-nineteen, nineteen
In Birmingham the postal striker typically served a twelve hour tour of picketing
But was exposed to hostile management propaganda almost every day
N-n-n-n-nineteen
(N-n-n-n-nineteen) nineteen
Nineteen n-n-n-n-n-ninteen
N-n-n-n-n-ninteen, nineteen..... thousand redundancies
Nineteen n-n-n-n-n-ninteen
N-n-n-n-n-ninteen, nineteen
It's pretty simple -the damage wrought on this company and the loss of work will warrant a response of that magnitude...the other carriers are there waiting
Where has 19000 redundancies come from?
@ Anger.
I didn't, but i will catch up.
Is the valuation of GLS and the surplus in the pension fund reflected in the price? You forgot to mention the land. What did you say? Another 4 billion was it? So 9 billion pounds worth of assets and the m/cap is less than 2 billion.
Wolvesposty - what a dumb post.
not at all... at least you will lower your average...
@ Darbo.
19000 redundancies?
And they will be filled very quickly. But i'm assuming that you are guessing. Maybe hoping.
And talking about redundancies, after the recent management cull, three times in the past two years. There are massive posters asking for new managers. This under the watchful gaze of Thompson. What a manager. What a TEAM guy.
Make loads of redundancies. Pay out millions. Then pay out more re-hiring. And the shareholders here are happy with the great man's performance.
anger if you are that c0ck sure... buy some more tomorrow and put it on the board to back it up...
darbo as a WBA fan you do not know what 19000 looks like.....
Wolves
You can forget the t's and C's you love (not the job) -19000 redundancies on the way
Boing boing
@Ispy... I could not have put that better....:-)
anger... yourself and maximus are holding on dearly to vesa...... you both up to your neck in losses on royal mail... if he does then so be it.... lets see.... tick tock tick tock
@ wolves.
I'm starting to hope that D..K and VESA do take over the company. I hope that GLS does get sold or spun off.
The shareholders here hoping for 4 quid a share will be very disappointed. They may get a few dregs in the new company.
In the meantime, RMG is renationalized and becomes a burden to the taxpayer, many of whom are on this board. You and i can then go back to providing a decent service, as more vacancies will be filled. Courtesy of the taxpayer of course.
And the best thing? We will still have our renumeration package and the majority of our current t's and c's.
oh, dear maximus.. you have got it in for the posties haven't you!!!!!!!!!!!
maybe give the Mrs.a slap or the dog a kick (seems like you capable) for your bad financial mistakes and not us....
Is that all 19 days? Nobody will notice -I regularly go 3 weeks without a letter.,..and all the parcels Will go to the other carriers. After this farce all that will be left is GLS and a lpiecework leaflet taker letter operation
You will start seeing r/m uniforms on people desperate for cloths all over the world once the posties are few and far between…I hope there given away to good causes:-)
I wonder if there will be some RNS in the morning giving the companies position?
I think ultimately the only winner here now is going to be Kretinsky and VESA. His asset in waiting is getting cheaper by the day.
Would he not be waiting on the nod:-)

I would expect the k decision shortly….the bold share holder will win in the end…
K will be laughing….bargin he will be chuckling

@ ispy... i told arsenal sub £2 by October also.... i will be back in @ £1.50... only small time and then buy further as time goes on to limit any losses I may incur if any as I can envisage £1 but not for long....
