@cb - rights issue ? Open to who existing shareholders only .... ? Who wont invest... if not IPO then not public.... seems only option is one pmg has suggested - float on SA exchange with 100 rfc shares for 1 in Micromega ......???? is king planning to make a killing on MicroMega and then invest that into RFC? This as bad as CWhyte and ticketus scam
@CB - the board have clearly said they are setting up an rights issue "in the next few weeks" Don't we need to be on market first that supports rights issues....? KingCo should have paid back loans and got the assets and IP back - (they had £16m remember).... yet they choose not to..........
Only if it was legally purchased
What can be said for certain is that Sports Direct OWN the Intellectual Property, being delisted don't expect any negative RNSs
ff - the board have clearly said they are setting up an rights issue "in the next few weeks" None of the investors are going to lend us money in the medium term - they are going to invest for equity and I don't blame them. If you think anyone is going to gift us £20M for no equity now just to sit in the bank you are likely to be very disappointed and in my opinion very unrealistic.
@gtaylor - ah I see you a fan of Easdales then (0% interest on £1m loan, no payoffs, lost £2m)...??? I never insulted 3TB - they pony up money - but only £1.5m and what about this month, and next and next 6 months? £5m was on offer and better than hand to mouth. @stuzeeuk is the celtic supporting troll - so ignore him - he just wants change, whatever board it is... > It was extremely wise of the board to refuse the 6.5mm offered by the three bears because it disgracefully had a clause in there that it would convert to equity. But that could not get shareholder vote needed 75% for that... so a non runner... where as £5m loan was real - as it was secured. Why did king not put in any money? A) He has no money ! B) He was prevented by someone.... who ? rumours elsewhere king only has £2.5m left and he spent £2m on his shares for 15%..... Ashley values our club key assets at £27m.... so how was it sold for just £5m???????
I see you posting on our enemies LSE board... bobbargains... why bother ?
ban this ban that - why do you want it shut down ?
moderator this company has been de listed from London Stock Exchange why still on LSE
I don’t know what ff posted but he normally posts tripe. I noticed the IP disappeared some weeks ago from RIFC, although it took some time for it to appear on SD. There is no point asking ff, SoF or Mensch anything, what they think is meaningless. Let’s face it we don’t know what the situation is, if the IP was indeed sold or transferred there should have been an RNS, depending on the value and classification of the assets, potentially there may also have been the need for a shareholder vote. There are a number of potential legal issues before a sale goes ahead. I am sure Mike Ashely, SD, Llambias and Leach all took legal advice and Mr Murray confirmed yesterday the new board will do so also. This is just the latest in a series of landmines which L +L and Ashley laid for the new board, there will undoubtedly be more to come. If you were in any doubt the old board were out for their own interests and not the long term interests of the company then it couldn’t be more plain, - The onerous contracts, - Retail deal, - Onerous loans, - Wounded 4, - £0.5 to Newcastle However let not panic, I am sure the issues will resolve themselves in due course, probably in court.
Footyfan - good that you have insulted the three bears for making an unsecured loan. Clearly that is of no help to Rangers and the 5mm loan with security over every revenue stream is much better. It was extremely wise of the board to refuse the 6.5mm offered by the three bears because it disgracefully had a clause in there that it would convert to equity. The club certainly doesnt need equity - it needs more of these reasonable loans that come with no drawbacks. I also fully understand why the transfer of the trademarks was not disclosed in anyway. No need - as you so poetically point out - "what issue here". No issue at at all! Fully transparent arms length dealings by your friends in the old board. First class business in a first class way!
The Intellectual Property is not secured against loans - it is OWNED by Sports Direct
>why this is good for Rangers Shareholers Well loans need to be secured against something - and Ashley values brands and trademarks - hes still shareholder... whats issue here - he loands £5m - not unsecured £1.5m that was spend two days later on salaries. I don't like Ashley as no ambition - but I like that he bank-rolls us and offers us a lifeline and billions on tap. David Murray owned all the brands and no-one complained then - now Ashley has hold of assets - and they are secured ..... cants be sold off - and when we back in CL and earning £16m we can buy them back.... or admin2 ? L&L had to avoid trading while insolvent.... King and PM will need to do same or face administration.... > Is this not just brazen theft? No ! FFS - £70m gone missing and you looking at transaction that paid bills and got £5m loan !!!
Well said that man
If this is true can i please get an explanation from Footyfan, theMensch and SoF why this is good for Rangers Shareholers? Is this not just brazen theft? So the financing package offered by Ashley was the better option vs the one from the three bears? Or is everything you have written over the last year now being shown up as false, lies, garbage - feel free to choose! Lambias and Leech were operating for the good of shareholders? I'm a bit confused and would like your guidance as i know that you care so much for corporate governance and transparency and you are all senior figures in the city.
OK
QOS 3 bears 0 what happened to the world beaters from last week hahaha joke of a club lucky to finish 4 th admin on the cards take the penalty and start minus 25 in the championship and rebuild with dignity and get back to where they deserve to be the lower leagues of scottish football Did anyone listen to the commentary on bbc Scotland they are suicidal lol remove the shoe laces and belts 3 sucker punch goals oh my sides hahahaha
Hi Stuzeeuk can't allow you to have the last word ever on this board
are clearly not on the job.Thoughts of summer holidays and moving to a new club.Or if not yet decided, mulling over offers from other clubs.Just running down the clock till its time to go. H.
play-offs? No chance.Rangers might not even finish top 4.Seriously. H.
over?! H.
1 win in 9 - was the count - you forget ? this should you your mantra .... old board out !!!!! Burn the witch! Old board signed someone who scored in last 5 game.... fook me that's good! You just cant bring yourself to admit they did somethings right - paid bills, got secure loans.... let super go, brought in 5 players, more that our enemies.
We lost 3 on the bounce then drew 3 with the "loanee 1.05" in February including HV. The new board got a decent manager in - the old board were signing away the logos.
12 contracts end before playoffs which are after end of season. How much will it cost for them to be re-hired for 4 games? It was expected they would walk championship - have won by now - like other divs - and so we saved wages for two months - with less players... till new season - new contracts. Playoff not planned for.
@MartinBuchan, @CambridgeBlue: McCoist didn't have the Newcastle "loanee 5" available. OK only one is playing but his 5 goals in his last 5 starts coincides with 2 draws and three wins. The £500k promotion fee and £5k a week (Ibelieve Vukic is on 3x that salary on his tod) will seem cheap if "Rangers" get promoted.
