Oil price up to near $39 a barrel so hopefully a blue start and finish tomorrow fingers crossed. Keep Smilling
SP continues to go North and the upcoming meeting with all oil producers mid March could be pivitol if agreement is reached and January Freeze in volumes takes place I see a big rise in SP , this coupled with Dividend makes this share a no brainer Keep Smilling
Thank you Jonboy 21 That,s exactly what I did
Crude oil price continues to rise and now approaching $37 from low of $29 . Things can only improve over the short term and long term as suppliers come to an agreement on freezing production levels to Those in January . So the SP should also reflect the improving situation and Shell are starting to look cheap again especially with dividends being payed as they say Cheap as Chips !!! Keep Smilling
Oil up again and things should keep on improving from here on especially now it looks like a full agreement will be reached between all oil producing nations when they meet up in Mid March !! Shell up again in USA fingers crossed for blue day tomorrow . Keep Smilling
Shell are near $1.00 up in USA trading and still climbing fingers crossed for tomorrow Keep Smilling
RDS up 50 c in USA puzzling whey down here Keep Smilling
Hi pascoe, personally I would go for BP and look for an entry around 335-340 depends how patient your willing to be. Both are a sound long term bet but BP is the favoured one for myself.
Looking for advice I have 35K to invest ie approx 10000shares in BP or 2000 in Shell Any advicer
Deputy governor of the bank of China announced that he expected oil imports To Increase this remark seems to have been ignored by the markets if it had been the other way around I wonder if the same would have applied ? Keep Smilling
A Soudi oil minister said today that more oil producing countries were signing up to the Freeze in production and this would eventually feed through to the market , this remark unfortunately knocked $ 1.30 of the price of Brent Crude so it's going to be a rough ride again tomorrow . I will be topping up again and taking advantage of the turmoil . Paul Getty once said buy when others are selling sell when others are buying not bad advice. Shell are Global heavyweight and will ride through this storm and the takeover of BG will I a m sure see this stock flying high in the years ahead . Best Of Luck To All Investors Keep Smilling
It's been announced that oil recovered by Fracking in the USA will reduce by 600,000 barrels per day !!! This can only help the price of oil to recover along with Freeze on production now being agreed by all major players. Onwards and upwards Best Of Luck To All Investors Keep Smilling
Current SP will look very cheap in another 12 months as the BG takeover impacts the bottom line looking forward to £20.00 pluss and also picking up the dividends along the line. Best Of Luck To All Investors Keep Smilling
from the sunday mail.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/markets/article-3413680/Shell-s-36bn-bid-BG-set-boost-Brazil.html
Its timw to top up, all time low and will bounce back up very soon.
IInteresting that Shell is down 3 points on a Saturday!
I have been waiting for the right time to buy shares in RDSA for some time , I bought yesterday . I believe they are a good long term investment , they have a record of paying a very good dividend , they are highly unlikely to go bust and are likely to gain market share during this time of low oil prices . Looking at the oil chart I think it is fair to assume that the price will rise again at some point . So If the share price drops further I will be averaging down and holding on to them for my retirement .
shell is making a bit of a come back. is it temporary or will oil producers be scaling back?
