Lots of interest at this level.
good set of results.. Plenty of potential for growth.Expanding in America.Hear nothing but good reports about this company.
I think its got to have been the buying the week before which pushed it up around 14%, and the results aren't quite as mind blowing as they had hoped and they are selling... hopefully the sellers are out now...
Rats! Typical AIM! :)
Really?! Looks like the market disagrees... which is a shame really as the longer term prospects look very good!
Very nice indeed: http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/12442026.html
First half results due in a week or so (acc. RNS 1st July). Anyone heard anything? Seems to be very little news around...
Nicely on track !
Hej Hardstand, yes, looking stable I'm glad to say.
Climbing back up Chan and Divi' time soon !
Despite the wide spread, a solid performance so far and definately one to hold in my view. Not sure about some of the recent trades though, looking a trifle iffy.
I had a buy limit on QTX today, hoping to catch an early rise in the share price after todays results. It didn't execute. No worries. Happy enough with my present small holding. It would be nice to see the spread on this share come down considerably but not sure that will happen whilst the share remains illiquid. I wouldn't be surprised if Robbie Burns, the Naked Trader, comments on the results in his next blog. He may have bought more into the share. If I see anything I will let folk know. Regards CM
Yes, what I expected, this share will sit quietly in the background of my AIM portfolio (I only invest in AIM) and will preform well over time. If you believe in the future of vehicle telematics QTX is the share to hold. It makes me smile over on the QPP (were I am also invested) BB when someone brings up telematics being the companies great white hope, yes with vertical market they could be gain some of market share but QTX is already there. GLA QTX long and strong
See above. Sound I'd say for a young company and a 3p Divi ' if agreed at the next meeting. Hope you agree Mobiledd !
Yes BIG day tomorrow. I'm feeling positive about the results and I feel that when the news spreads that QTX is as safe as you will find on AIM with growth potential and pays a decent divided we will see a reflective SP increase. GLA QTX investors.
Looking stable and Results out tomorrow !
Quartix Holdings plc ("Quartix"), a leading supplier of subscription-based vehicle tracking systems, software and services in the UK, reports that it will publish results for the year ended 31 December 2014 on Tuesday 3rd March and that they are expected to be in line with market expectations. Andy Walters, Managing Director, commented: "Following our successful IPO, we have a strong base from which to pursue our growth ambitions and are pleased with the progress made in the business in 2014. We look forward to 2015 with confidence".
Ah ha. That would be understandable. Thanks. CM
The rise may be related to the BUY recommendation in today's Investors Chronicle.
Nice to have a decent rise here today, although I can not see any obvious reason for it. Perhaps it was QTX's time for a rise. don't know how long it will last, but I am now in a slight profit!. Spread is still large for this share, probably due to its' illiquidity. Would like to think todays rise will be mirrored very shortly with my other holdings which turned red all about the same time today, around 3 p.m having been blue for most of the day; again for no obvious reason. Very frustrating to see my portfolio fall back to below what it started the year at, despite only holding one higher risk share. All the others are/were meeting a strict criteria I set before investing. May just be a case for holding good quality shares (on the face of it anyway) through some thin times and hoping the cream will come to the surface in time. During the market turmoil in October I sold out of everything and have since pretty much all those holdings recover. Trying to learn from that lesson. Anyone else out there to give an opinion?. Regards and good luck. CM
Anyone any idea for todays fall from mid afternoon?, can't see any reason personally. QTX has done this before and recovered, maybe it will again. Don't see any news around which would have affected the share price. Guess it may well be that with low volume and not many shares in free float that there may be volatility under such circumstances. Pretty much the same message as my last post. Any view Partypolitics?. Regards CM
From todays blog from Robbie Burns, the Naked Trader: "There was a sudden inexplicable fall in recent new issue Quartix so I snapped up a few more. Looks a nice one with excellent fundamentals and another I hope to tuck away for a couple of years." Not surprised, thought he might have bought more, so good news. With few shares in free float and little volume, the movement in the share price one way or the other on small volume can be expected and is not necessarily an indication of the strength or weakness of the company. There is very little news released for QTX; more would be most welcome. In the past it has been mentioned on here that the weakness in QPP may be beneficial to QTX because of the telematics link. QPP has strengthened considerably over the last week or so whereas QTX has seen little positive movement, so perhaps some may be thinking that there has been a movement back over to QPP. Personally, I don't think there is a link between the two, or there would have been far greater volume here. I would concur with RBs critique, especially as he is far more in the know than at least me. Patience here, as indeed with most worthy stocks, is needed. Here's hoping for a good year. Regards and good luck all CM
