I couldn't care less about who invests in what and I am certainly not trying to save anyone. Just asking questions of the company for my own amusement. Questions that nobody seems able or willing to answer.
Mikey. It’s the same Brew who bought shares in GST and sounds exactly like aim.
All these troll posts that get ticked up within seconds, how odd hey
Brew, you don't ask reasonable questions, you antagonise maliciously.
There are no such thing as shining knights, who spend their time hanging around forums attempting to save unwitting investors from imaginary ruthless companies. Why pretend to be one ? its quite silly.
What is being tested @mrhanji? The last PRN talked about reverse engineering chips. It talked about porting. It talked about creating their own chip. Then it talks about a module added to CGMiner which they are now live testing with.
So if Method B works as a module of CGMiner why do they need a chip, porting or reverse engineering of third party chips?
There is a glossary after the update which gives an indication to the terms used.
Mrhanji, spot on, the misinformation and twisting and turning from Brew is disgusting.
How is asking questions trolling? Surely you are not suggesting that QBTs claims should not be scrutinised and instead we should take everything FG tells us as gospel?
Why don't you want to clarify what the Method B product actually is? You must know as you have DYOR. Is it firmware, a hardware booster, a change to an ASIC chip or a module in CGMiner or something else?
Brew, how do you expect FG to give speeches when they are currently working on testing to achieve results that the miners, chip manufacturers and share holders want to see?
Until the company is ready to do that then what exactly do you think FG can say without people asking to see this evidence, do you not think it would be more prudent to wait until they have that evidence to hand out for scrutiny?
You are using the fact they are testing to troll with, it really does show the length some will go to sadly.
Brew its being ported and live tested simultaneously.
It's only an idea still in your head.
Brew, where has the aggressive come from?
Maybe bored with you trolling mine and other investment 24-7, what sort of person does that Brew?
You can't answer Jambone as you don't know. Nobody knows. Their comms are so confused that I challenge anyone to actually say with certainty what the Method B product is aside from an idea.
Pretty telling you get all evasive and aggressive when I ask what I consider to be fairly reasonable questions. What problem would you have with QBT making their wallet address public or FG or one of his many experts giving speeches at Bitcoin conferences? They would be good things surely?
Jambone: You write
" ... The chips have had to be revers engineered to work out where inside the chip you place/target the software ..."
One thing I do know - there is no software inside an ASIC. Perhaps if you stretch the concept then you could create your microprocessor in an ASIC ! But the concept of the ASIC is to slim your hardware algorithm to the minimum and throw away your general purpose hardware. A bit like ripping a family saloon to make a racer.
Why don’t you read the RNS Brew, I’m sure you will find the answers in there 😉
Brew, are you actually thick or do you just post like you are thick.
How many times, if they are carrying out intensive live testing 24/7 and have not yet completed this then how do you expect them to release this info?
QBT need to have rock solid results, not results for an impatient trader but results to build a business on which will value QBT over a billion pound +, I’m quoting you here Brew, you said on fruition QBT will be a billion Pound company!
There you have it. QBTs arch rampers dodges a question on what QBTs product actually is.
Will ask again. Can you clarify what QBTs product is Jambone? Is it firmware, a hardware booster, a change to an ASIC chip, a module in CGMiner or something else?
And the trolls are here again, in force, own no shares, here to disrupt and that’s it
Can you clarify what QBTs product is Jambone? Is it firmware, a hardware booster, a change to an ASIC chip, a module in CGMiner or something else?
'3rd party evidence'
Release their BTC wallet address so we can see the sats rolling in from their extensive live testing on the two major pools they are using.
Release evidence of their claims in the form of raw data or detailed analysis of their results, perhaps peer reviewed by an industry expert.
Have FG or one of his 20+ world class experts write articles on what they are doing or have them give keynote speeches at Bitcoin conferences where they lay out exactly how they are going to disrupt to trillion dollar market.
All we have so far is 2 dodgy animations with spelling mistakes (they even managed to spell Method incorrectly).
The strongest indicator of their claims is the MCAP and lack of appetite of their shares. The market does not believe that what FG claims is possible.
Pitiful buying again for a company that is going to give miners 160% gains in billion/trillion dollar industry.
The (lack of) trading speaks for itself.
3rd party evidence, how do they prove that when they are still working on bringing to market.
As again, more proof with the misleading posts.
Problem is the poster who just posted before owns zero shares so obviously everything is bad blah blah blah.
They will say anything to harm or knock QBT
'Does anyone understand this gobbledegook'
Jambone speaks fluent gobbledegook so they could probably help out.
Bottom line is, QBT release badly worded, contradictory info with zero detail or proof of their claims. Nobody really has an idea where exactly they are at the minute, what kind of testing has been done or is being done. Nobody actually knows what their products are, is it firmware, a hardware booster, a change to an ASIC chip or a module in CGMiner.
It's all a bit of a mess and belief in what they are doing is entirely based on whether you believe their claims or not as there is zero third party corroborating evidence.
To build your own ASIC chips costs a good few million then you need to build miners and then host the miners at a site with electricity costs to add in, it’s an expensive game and especially now for the miners as rewards have halved.
The beauty of QBT model is we sell licence for software or a % of extra BTC mined depending on deal. This does not expose us to running costs, QBT costs will be kept down so rewards should be great. This is what makes QBT so exciting as all miners will be lost without QBT software due to the advertised gains of 160%
Hi Phimix
It’s to do with the large miners and mining pools, they run hundreds of thousands mining rigs to mine BTC blocks with, QBT have developed software but this needs to be installed on the mining rigs, this is known as porting.
The mining rigs are not like a computer where you can just install software/firmware, the newer machines are all locked and come with the manufacturers software installed.
The chips have had to be revers engineered to work out where inside the chip you place/target the software. They Chinese manufacturers are not helpful with this so this is why the chips have had to be reverse engineered to understand how they work, time consuming task which FG did say would take 6-9 months.
8 weeks ago FG said they believe ls the reverse engineering was complete, so now they have the task of sifting trough the data to trial where to instal and find the sweet spot.
That’s my interpretation of how it works
"...All of the Company’s current efforts are now focused on turning Methods A, B and C, into commercial products. This has proved a very time consuming, due to the tremendous reverse engineering efforts involved in using totally undocumented third-party ASIC chips“
Can anyone explain why 3rd party ASIC chips have to be reverse engineered ?
If QBT has a unique algorithm then why is the hardware solution not being transfered to their own ASIC solution. Where does the 3rd party ASIC do for QBTs solution.
Since QBTs are now expending all their efforts on turning out commercial products how did they test their algorithm ? I assume a software solution running on fast general purpose computers. Alternatively does the QBT algorithm presort data then pump the results into someone else's ASIC to give that a speed advantage ?
Does anyone understand this gobbledegook?
