Blockage in the BD funnel? Misleading statements? Stretching the truth? Only JM knows what went wrong! Only 2 contracts this year. Could be out of funds a lot quicker than the 2 years stated!
If you think something went wrong then you took a view that all of that would materialise into something by now. There were no guarantees given.
Older & wiser. I have no idea what's gone on here. It all sounds very promising but I just wonder is it a boring share which puts off private investors. I've sold out but kept 1000 shares for old times sake!
April 14 Q&A:
Q: Please say a few words on the current pipeline?
The pipeline is genuinely the strongest it’s ever been. For the first time, we’ve really been able to quantify that by disclosing that we have contracted revenue of over £460,000 for this half that we’re in now. We’ve never been able to say that before. We’ve never had that degree of visibility for the next five months. And obviously that’s just the revenues that we have signed up at this point in time.
Above these contracted revenues in the pyramid of Business Development we have a number of contracts that are in discussion, one of which is with another big pharma Company. If we can clinch that one, that is another very exciting opportunity and could be a big step forward for the Company. But it’s not the only opportunity. We now have a more rigorous process for categorising the different opportunities thanks to our new BD lead. While this isn’t something that I can explain in a few words, I can assure you that at every stage within that BD funnel we now looking stronger than I think we ever have done before.
What went wrong?
It's a bit moot anyway, if I was the CEO I wouldn't bother responding to accusations that I was misleading or stretching the truth which isn't case. Ooft needs to take responsibility for their own interpretation of the RNSes as it was clear to me what was being said.
Share4. If he couldn't be bothered to pursue it with the company it seems a bit pointless complaining here rather than resubmitting it. You never know - it might have been a genuine oversight.
" If you were genuinely interested in your question being answered you could have pursued it."
Oh please, he sent an email over to the CEO. If the CEO was genuinely interested in answering that question he would have done so.
ooofffttt72. Two things
1. Short of torture there is no way to 'force' an answer. That was not my point. I used the word 'press'. If you were genuinely interested in your question being answered you could have pursued it.
2. I quote from your post.
"Repeat business from previous clients / customers. According to time scales in the RNS’s that work has been concluded. Hence previous not current! "
Unfortunately I'm not quite sure your point here?
Not sure how you can force someone to answer a question? I’m all ears though??
Repeat business from previous clients / customers. According to time scales in the RNS’s that work has been concluded. Hence previous not current!
ooofffttt72 "The points raised below were submitted to the company. Only JM can tell you why he did not respond."
And only you can say why you didn't press him for an answer?
According to the announcements we have more repeat business than one off contracts and those one offs may well repeat anyway. The overall picture is upward progress from one customer to many .
The points raised below were submitted to the company. Only JM can tell you why he did not respond. Truro - companies both large and small have used our services in the past - not so sure about the usually come back for more part. It looks like we have had multiple contracts from Merck (last one Dec 2021 for 6 months) and Bicycle (May 2021 for 6 months). Nothing from them since. My point being we have signed 2 contracts in YTD 2022 and none of them have been repeat business.
Jim stated there is no direct correlation between size of client and size of contract?
Funny. Been pointing this out here for a while.
Exactly right Laura, Those questions should have been put directly to JM at the presentation but he failed to do so because basically he's an attention seeker - just like the Donald!
Apart from last year, when we were adversely effected by Covid, we've made continuously excellent progress across the board since his JM's arrival. As he said in the presentation - when he came here we were basically a one customer company and we now have a growing range of both large and small companies that usually come back for more which is testament to the product and the efficiency of the company.
Hi oopft
Hope you don't mind me asking but have you emailed or rang him with your points of view?
Well Jim. Thanks for taking the time the other week to give us all 30 mins and provide an update on what has been an abysmal performance for 2022 to date. You reiterated the pipeline was the best it’s ever been. Again I will ask you why next to no conversion? You mentioned we have enough cash to last 2 years. Based on what? Overheads (headcount) is increasing without an increase in sales - you wouldn’t be stretching the truth here again would you? And finally did the large pharma you eluded to deliver a large contract in terms of revenue? As you stated there is no direct correlation between size of client and size of contract. Misleading people again possibly. What were the targets in terms of revenue and expenditure for this year - care to enlighten us??
